  சதுரங்க வரலாற்றில் இரண்டாவது இளம்வயது

 கிராண்ட் மாஸ்டராக பட்டம் வென்று சாதனை படைத்துள்ளார். அவரது   அசாத்திய திறமை அவரை இந்த உச்சத்திற்கு உயர்த்தியுள்ளது. பன்னிரெண்டாவது வயதில் அவர் செய்த  இந்த மகத்தான சாதனையை அங்கீகரித்த  நமது மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் திரு எடப்பாடி கே .பழனிசாமி அவர்கள்  அண்மையில்

தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில்
5 லட்சம் ரொக்கப் பரிசு வழங்கி கவுரவித்தார். பல கிராண்ட்
மாஸ்டர்களை உருவாக்கியுள்ள வேலம்மாள் கல்விக் குழுமத்தின் சாதனைகளில் இது மற்றுமொரு மைல்கல்லாகும்.

மாணவரின்  இந்த வியப்பிற்குரிய சாதனையைப் புகழ்ந்துரைத்த பள்ளி நிர்வாகம் அவரை வாழ்த்துகிறது மேலும்
எதிர்காலத்தில் பல விருதுகளைப் பெறும் வகையில் அவரை
ஊக்குவித்தது.

Master D Gukesh, Class IX of Velammal Vidyalaya Mel Aynambakkam became the second youngest GM(GrandMaster) in chess history. His blazing talent has raised him to this pinnacle.

Recognizing his stupendous achievement at the age of twelve, he was honoured by our Hon'ble Chief Minister Thiru Edappadi K Palaniswami with a cash award of 5 lacs at the secretariat, recently.
Velammal has time and again produced several GMs.

The school management extols his astounding achievement and wishes him future laurels.

உலக சாதனைக்கான "செயற்கைக் கோள் ஏவுதல்

 உலக சாதனைக்கான "செயற்கைக் கோள் ஏவுதல்"  -  துவக்க விழாவில் வேலம்மாள் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் பங்கேற்பு.

ராமேஸ்வரத்தில் 2021 பிப்ரவரி 7, ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை காலை 10.30 மணிக்கு நடைபெற்ற "டாக்டர் ஏ.பி.ஜே. அப்துல் கலாம் விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி பேலோட் க்யூப்ஸ் சவால் -2021" நிகழ்வில் மேல் அயனம்பாக்கம், வேலம்மாள் வித்யாலயா பள்ளியைச்  சேர்ந்த இளம் விஞ்ஞானிகள் பங்கேற்றனர்.

 

 இந்த உலக சாதனை நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு மாண்புமிகு பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார். மொத்தம் 100 ஃபெம்டோ செயற்கைக்கோள்கள் இரண்டு உயரமான அறிவியல் பலூன்கள் வழியாக ஏவப்பட்டு அவை 100 கி.மீ தூரத்திற்குத் தரையிறங்கின.  இந்நிகழ்வில் நாடு முழுவதிலும் இருந்து 800 மாணவர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.

 இந்த நிகழ்வை ஏ.பி.ஜே. அப்துல் கலாம் சர்வதேச அறக்கட்டளையாகிய  STEM நிறுவனம், இந்திய  விண்வெளி மண்டலம் மற்றும் மார்ட்டின் குழுமத்துடன் இணைந்து  மாணவர்களிடையே அறிவியல் ஆர்வத்தைத் தூண்டுவதற்காக இந்நிகழ்வினை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது.

பள்ளி நிர்வாகம் மாணவர்களின்  இந்த அரிய  , போற்றத்தக்க முயற்சிகளைப் பாராட்டி வாழ்த்தியது.

VELAMMAL STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE
WORLD RECORD SATELLITE LAUNCH EVENT

Young scientists from Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Aynambakkam, took part in Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's space research payload cubes challenge 2021 which was held in Rameswaram on Sunday, 7th February, 2021 at 10.30am.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the students who took part in this World Record event.

A total of 100 Femto satellites were launched through two high altitude scientific balloons and they landed over 100 kms away. 800 students across the nation participated.

This event was organized by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam International Foundation(AKIF) along with Space Zone India and Martin Group to kindle interest among students in STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The school management appreciates the students for their commendable efforts.

Velammal Nexus congratulates the students who excelled at the 25th PSG Tech Talent Test 2020 conducted recently.

*Master Karthick A,* Std X of Velammal Vidyalaya Paruthipattu Campus grabbed the State 4th rank and *Master Pranav Raghuram,* Std X of Velammal Vidyalaya Mel Ayanambakkam secured State 8th rank.

PSG Tech Talent Test 2020 was conducted by PSG Tech Alumini Association, Coimbatore in the online mode where 122 schools across Tamilnadu participated.

VELAMMAL EXCELS IN KARATE

Miss T Meenalakshmi, Class 12 of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakam, represented Tamil Nadu and clinched the Gold Medal by defeating her Opponent from Srilanka with a score of 5-3 in the final round of Individual Kumite Championship held at Kotla Vijay Baskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Telangana recently.

This event was organised by Shubukai Shito - KYU Karate Federation International.

About 600 students from various countries took part in this  International event.
