'ஜோஷ்வா - இமைபோல் காக்க' படத்தின் இரண்டாவது பாடல்

கெளதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனனின் 'ஜோஷ்வா இமைபோல் காக்க' படத்தின் இரண்டாவது பாடல் மனதை மயக்கும் மெல்லிசையால் அனைவரின் காதுகளையும் குளிர்வித்து பெரிய வரவேற்பைப் பெற்று வருகிறது. இப்படத்தின் முதல் பாடலான "ஹை ஜோஷ்வா..." பாடல் கருத்தாழம் மிக்க வரிகளுக்காகவும் புதுமையான தாள லயத்துக்காகவும் இசை ரசிகர்களால் பெரிதும் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. நேற்று 15-07-2020 இரண்டாவது பாடலுக்கான ட்யூனை இயக்குநர் கெளதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனனே முணுமுணுத்தவாறு அறிமுகப்படுத்திய காணொளிக் காட்சி சமூக வலைதளங்களில் தெடர்ந்து வைரலாகி வருகிறது. நாயகியின் குரலாக ஒலித்த "ஹே லவ் ஜோஷ்வா..." பாடலுக்கு பதிலளிப்பதுபோல் நாயகன், "நான் உன் ஜோஷ்வா..." என்று பாடுவதுபோல் உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் இந்தப் பாடல், வரிகளுக்காகவும் இசை வடிவத்துக்காகவும் மிகப் பெரிய அளவில் வரவேற்பு பெற்று வருகிறது.

'ஜோஷ்வா' படத்தில் பிரதான பாத்திரத்தில் நடித்து வரும் நடிகர் வருண் இரண்டாவது பாடல் குறித்து கூறியதாவது...
"இயக்குநர் கெளதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனனின் படப்பாடல் வெளியாகும்போதெல்லாம், முடிவற்ற பரபரப்பு தொற்றிக் கொள்வதை நாம் தொடர்ந்து சில ஆண்டுகளாக கவனித்திருக்கிறோம். முதல் பாடலைப் போலவே இரண்டாவது பாடலும் மிகப் பெரிய வரவேற்பைப் பெற்று வருவது குறித்து நான் மட்டற்ற மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன். "தள்ளிப்போகாதே..." , "கற்க கற்க..." போன்ற வரிகளுடன் சில ஆக்ஷன் காட்சிகள் மற்றும் காண்பதற்கினிய விஷுவல்ஸுடன் இந்தப் பாடல் உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது என்றார்.

விக்னேஷ் சிவன் எழுதிய இந்த இரண்டாவது பாடலை கார்திக் இசையமைத்துப் பாடியிருக்கிறார். வேல்ஸ் பிலிம்ஸ் இன்டர்நேஷனல் சார்பில் டாக்டர் ஐசரி கே.கணேஷ் தயாரிக்கும் 'ஜோஷ்வா இமைபோல் காக்க' படத்தில் வருண் மற்றும் ராஹேய் பிரதான வேடங்களில் நடித்திருக்கின்றனர். கார்த்திக் இசையமைக்கும் இப்படத்திற்கு எஸ்.ஆர்.கதிர் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய, ஆன்டனி படத்தொகுப்பை கவனிக்கிறார். கலை இயக்குநர் பொறுப்பை குமார் ஞானப்பனும், உடையலங்காரப் பொறுப்பை உத்ரா மேனனும் ஏற்றிருக்கின்றனர். சண்டைப் பயிற்சியாளராக யொன்னிக் பிரவுன், கலரிஸ்டாக ஜி.பாலாஜி பணியாற்ற சவுண்ட் மிக்ஸிங் பொறுப்பை சுரேன் ஜி, மற்றும் டப்பிங் பொறுப்பை ஹஃபீஸும் ஏற்றிருக்கின்றனர். கூத்தன் மற்றும் சுரேன் ஜி. இருவரும் இணைந்து சவுண்ட் டிசைனிங் பொறுப்பை கவனிக்கின்றனர்.

Joshua Imai Pol Kaaka Second Single is out!!! 

The showers of musical delight arrive as the mellifluous second single from Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Joshua – Imai Pol Kaaka' has been unveiled. Ever since the first single 'Hey Joshua' was unveiled, it's been a celebration among music lovers for the newfangled tunes and appealing lyrics. With the director himself making an announcement about the second single yesterday (July 15, 2020) by crooning the tunes, the video went viral on all social media hubs. Now the song “Naan Un Joshua” has found a huge positive response instantly for it is written and composed as a reply from protagonist to the romantic solo from his sweetheart (First single track – Hey Love Joshua).

Actor Varun feels elated about the huge response saying, “When a track from Gautham Vasudev Menon sir’s album is released, the excitements are endless and that’s a natural trait, we have observed during all these years. I am extremely happy about the reception for our first single and so for this new single. The song will have visuals packed with some action elements on the lines of ‘Thalli Pogathey’ and ‘Karka Karka’.”

Composed and crooned by playback singer Karthik, Vignesh Shivan has penned the lyrics for this track. Produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International, the film has Varun and Raahei in lead roles. Karthik (Music), S.R. Kathir (Cinematography), Anthony (Editing), Kumar Gangappan (Art), Uthara Menon (Costume Stylist), Yannick Ben (Action), G. Balaji (Colourist), Suren G (Sound Mixing), Hafeez (Dubbing), Koothan & Suren G (Sound Design) are the technicians involved in this film.

Currently, the team has wrapped up 90% shooting and just 10-12 days are pending for the entire project to windup. The initial plans were to shoot the romantic portions in the USA. Nonetheless, with the pandemic COVID 19 crisis still prolonging, the team is planning to shoot those episodes somewhere in North India, once the situations are back to normal.

Dulquer Salmaan-Ritu Varma-Gautham Vasudev Menon starrer ‘Kannum Kollaiyadithal’ is scheduled for release tomorrow (February 28, 2020). The cast and crew of this film attended the press meet to promote the film. Here are some of the excerpts from this event.

Music director Harshavardhan said, “I have composed a song and background score for this film. It will be an impressive film for all and I thank the team for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this movie.”

Cinematographer Bhaskar said, “To work with Gautham Vasudeev Menon sir has been a long time dream and it has come true with KKK. Dulquer Salmaan is such a humble and down to earth person. The shooting spot will be enlivened with happiness when he is around. Ritu Varma is a beautiful and talented actress.”

Costume designer Niranjani, who has played an important role in this film said, “I thank director for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this film. I was initially roped in for designing costumes, but director made to play an important role. I have worked in Gautham Vasudev Menon sir’s films, but this is the first time, I have designed costumes for him. Ritu Varma is such a friendly person and Dulquer Salmaan has done a fabulous job. I am curiously waiting to see myself on the big screens.

Actress Ritu Varma said, “I am not very well versed with Tamil and this is my debut movie here. I am banking lots of hopes on this movie. Director has worked a lot on this project. I always believe that if 10% of magnetic charisma of Dulquer is owned, I can be more happy. Gautham Menon sir has directed me in a film and sharing the screen space with him is such bliss.”

Actor Rakshan said, “To wear the greasepaint and act in movies has been my long time desire. Dulquer sir took  care of me like a brother on the sets and the moments of working in this movie will be a cherishing memory forever.”

Gautham Vasudev Menon said, “A new journey has began for me and it was completely unplanned, but it’s quite happy. The way director Desingu approached me was impressive. SJ Suryah was initially approached to play this character. Dulquer and I have known each other for quite some time. Ritu Varma and Niranjani have already worked in my movies and I feel elated to share the screen space with them. The young team has done a fabulous job with complete involvement. I saw few episodes in the film and really loved it.

Director Desingu Periyasamy said, “This is the first time, I am facing so many cameras. I had to come across various issues that every debutant goes through while making their first movies. I wrote the script keeping Dulquer Salmaan in mind and his presence brought forth more confidence and hope among everyone. I approached Ritu Varma after seeing her performance in ‘Pelli Choopulu’. She has done a fabulous job. For such a high potential, Gautham Vasudev Menon sir can easily be a part of big projects, but he believed in a newcomer like me and chose to be a part of this film. Dulquer Salmaan is a person without any egos and was so much down to earth.”

Dulquer Salmaan said, “As soon as the promotional phase of this film commenced, I was happy about many asking me ‘Why I took such a long gap in Kollywood?’ It’s happy to see that you all haven’t forgotten me. As soon as I heard the script, I was excited and was eagerly waiting for the film’s shoot to begin. Initially, I was little concerned on working with team of newcomers, but all of them proved to be hugely talented and they treated me very well on the sets. Ritu Varma is greatly talented and has done a fabulous job. She will look exactly like a Tamil girl and was so much supportive throughout the shooting. Gautham Vasudev Menon is the superstar of this film and without him, KKK would have been a routine comedy caper. I am curiously waiting to work in a romantic story directed by him. Director Desingu is a man of clarity and it’s his long dream run come true now. KKK will be a favourite film for all and I am sure about it.”

Natty replaces Gautham Vasudev Menon in Sibiraj’s Walter 

Cinematographer-actor Natty (a) Nataraj Subramaniam has been celebrated for his multi-faceted onscreen roles, where he is easily adaptable to any characters. Having won decorous reception for his performance in Sivakarthikeyan’s Namma Veettu Pillai, he will be now seen replacing Gautham Vasudev Menon in Sibiraj’s ‘Walter’.  Confirming the news, debutant U Anbu, director of this film says, “As known to everyone, we had initially approached Gautham Vasudev Menon sir for this particular role and he was really excited to don this character. However, he couldn’t take up the project owing to his call sheet issues and directorial commitments. Later, we had to consider many artistes and finally approached Natty sir after the release of Namma Veettu Pillai. 

Despite heavy downpour of offers, he wasn’t on a hurry to sign projects. He told us that he would agree to be a part of this film only after hearing the complete script. Finally, he gave a nod as he liked the film’s premise and his role as well. We started shooting his portions 15 days ago across Kumbakonam, Chennai and Tanjore.”

While there have been erstwhile claims that Natty will be seen in antagonistic shades, director Anbu clarifies opining, “That’s not the actual definition! It is a character that is neither positive nor negative. It will keep you in guesses till the end and that’s his USP,” and continues, “We are confident that his character will find a good reception among audiences.”

Talking about Sibiraj’s performance, Anbu says, “His talents needn’t be mentioned by a newcomer like me for everyone in the industry knows about it. When I speak about his potentials, it isn’t simply limited to wearing the greasepaint and facing the camera, but his knowledge about filmmaking and technical aspects is astounding. He has given complete life to this cop avatar in ‘Walter’.”

Directed by U Anbu, ‘Walter’ is produced by Shruthi Tilak for 11:11 Productions. The film has Shirin Kanchwala of ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ playing the female lead and Samuthirakani appears in a prominent role.
