Kicking off with a grand pooja ceremony, the much-awaited film #STR49—starring the ever-charismatic Silambarasan TR and helmed by Parking sensation Ramkumar Balakrishnan—was officially launched today under the prestigious banner of Dawn Pictures, with dynamic producer Aakash Baskaran backing the project in style, amidst the presence of the star-studded cast and film industry luminaries.

The film is set against a college backdrop and is being made as a vibrant commercial entertainer, aiming to bring back the vintage charm of Silambarasan TR on screen. In this movie, Silambarasan plays the role of a college student.

Director Ramkumar Balakrishnan, who captured attention with Parking, is taking a different route this time by crafting a mass commercial film that will appeal to audiences across all sections.

After a long gap, actor Santhanam joins hands with Silambarasan TR again.

The female lead is played by Kayadu Lohar, a young actress who has won hearts among the youth. VTV Ganesh also plays a significant role in the film.

Dawn Pictures, known for producing grand films featuring leading stars, is backing #STR49 with a massive budget under the production of Aakash Baskaran.
