Jenma Natchathiram Audio Launch*

Jenma Natchathiram Audio Launch*

Following the grand success of ‘Oru Nodi’, the same team is collaborating again for yet another commendable film titled Jenma Natchathiram. The film, a horror by its genre, is almost like a prequel to the all-time classic Jenma Natchathiram (the Tamil version of The Omen). The film is directed by Manivarman and is produced by Amoham Studios and Whitelamp Pictures. With the film releasing on July 18, by Romeo Pictures Raahul, the entire cast and crew interacted with press and media for the audio launch held this morning (July 8, 2025) in Chennai.

Here are the key takeaways and expressions from the event.

Amoham Studios Vijayan said, “This stage is completely new to me. This is our maiden production in the film industry. After watching ‘Oru Nodi’ special screening, we gained a strong confidence that this team will be the best one for our maiden production. We are happy to see the final output of ‘Jenma Natchathiram’, especially with the team’s commitment in delivering the final version on the committed deadline. I request the press and media family to support our humble production and make it well known to the public.”

Cinematographer KG said, “My humble thanks to Amoham Studios for a beautiful opportunity. The entire cast and crew have been so supportive. I thank the press and media family for being here and request you all to support this film.”

Art Director Ram said, “Director Manivarman and I worked together in ‘Oru Nodi’. While he narrated the script of ‘Jenma Natchathiram’, I told him that it requires a lot of support from the production house for a strong technical output. I was a little reluctant if we would be able to get such a production house. When I met Vijayan sir for the first time, he gave an advance amount and totally supported throughout the shooting and postproduction. Director Manivarman is such a talented filmmaker, and he completed the shooting on time. I request you all to support this film. Thank you.”

Editor Guru Suriya said, “I thank Manivarman sir for the great opportunity in ‘Oru Nodi’, and now I am glad to be working with him again in this movie. The cinematographer has done a remarkable job with spellbinding visuals. ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ will be a great cinematic experience for all. Thank you.”

Actor Sivam said,“After the release of ‘Oru Nodi’, I was so happy when director Manivarman gave me an opportunity to work in ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ again. I thank the entire cast and crew for the great support. The director has created the film just as he narrated. I thank Romeo Pictures Raahul for facilitating a greater release for this film.”

Actor Arun Karthi said, “I want to thank Subashini ma’am, Vijayan sir, and the entire team for their wonderful support. I thank my co-artistes and technical team for being supportive. My humble thanks to Romeo Pictures for releasing this film. I had a beautiful memory working with a cute dog in this movie. Music Director Sanjay Manickam has delivered mind-blowing music for this film. Cinematographer KG sir got sick during the shooting of this film, but still he managed to complete the film’s shooting on the spot without any delay. I have played the role of an assistant director in this movie. I thank my direction team and the whole crew for making the entire process comfortable. ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ will be a treat for all horror movie buffs.”

Actor Maithreya said, “The entire technical crew has been an amazing experience. We had lots of challenging moments. DOP KG sir got sick so badly that he had no stamina to stand, but still he took the medications and managed to complete the shoot on time as promised. My heartiest thanks to all the cast and crew members for this special opportunity. My special thanks to Manivarman sir for this opportunity that came as a surprise. I express my gratitude to Romeo Pictures Raahul for releasing this film. Thank you all.”

Actress Raksha Sherin said, ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ is a very special movie to all of us in the team. We have done our best hard work, literally with blood and sweat. I request you all to watch the film and support us. This is my humble request. I thank Mani sir, Mythu, Shivam, Mani and Malini for being a great support.”

Dr. Bharani Balraj said, “Thaman Akash and his mom approached me for astrological needs, and I am glad that he has made a huge mark today. Both Erode Mahesh and Thaman are close friends, and they are like my sons. I used to tell Thaman that whatever effort he might exert, his fortunate phase will open up by 2025, where his fame will reach beyond the Tamil industry. He is my son-in-law, and I got my daughter married to him in 2024. He has struggled a lot like Vanavas for the past 14 years. I requested Romeo Pictures Raahul to release this film, and he gladly accepted it. Today, he has made the release much easier.”

Mr. Cable Shankar said, “This team is very well known to me. I have been roaming around with them for many years. I have been a part of this project from its time of preproduction scripting to the final output. Usually, after a film’s success, the team would get changed, but now, the same team has come up with their next film without any changes. It’s been a long time since we saw a proper commercial horror thriller like ‘Jenma Natchathiram’. I always desire Thaman’s success as our victory is mutual. Amoham Studios Vijay is new to cinema, but once he stepped into the industry, his involvement has been huge. Sanjay Manickam will definitely earn everyone’s appreciation for his musical score. My best wishes to the entire team.”

Mr. Murali, Gokulam Studios, said, “Usually, I am not a fan of horror movies, but when I saw the rough version, I was fascinated. Then, I gained more confidence in the team’s sincere efforts and teamwork. My best wishes to the entire team. They have now completed 50 percent of their next film. I had been to the shooting spots very rarely, and it was like working with ten producers. I wish the entire team good luck and success. July 18 is going to be a very special day for all of us. Thank you all.”

Actor Thalaivasal Vijay said, “I got a call for this film stating that a young filmmaker Mani Varman is working on this project and there is a role for me. When I asked about my call sheet, he said it is just for a couple of days. I wondered what they were going to shoot within such a short span of time. However, looking back at my career, almost all the best films like ‘Magalir Mattum’, ‘Mahanadhi’, ‘Sandakozhi’ and a few more, featured me in just two to three scenes, but still my character had a great impact. One thing that I would like to appreciate about director Mani is his conviction and clarity. It was more like working with director Hari, who would have an edited version in his mind. Mani Varman has that same expertise in clarity. Thaman is such a down-to-earth person, and more than astrological significance as his father-in-law said, it is his hard work and involvement that has gifted him a good stature now. ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ will be a phenomenal horror treat for the fans. Thank you all.”

Erode Mahesh said, “Thaman, despite having a good pay in an IT company, left the job for the passion he had for cinema. He is a mobile library and can discuss any topic under the sun with ease. He underwent intense training in Koothu Pattarai, and after 14 years, he has finally got a good breakthrough. ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ is going to be a very special movie for all of us. I thank today’s hero of the show, Music Director Sanjay. His music knowledge is so intense and he is soft spoken. He is a man with a good heart. My best wishes to the entire team. Thank you all.”

Director Lokesh Ajls said, “The film’s trailer looks amazing and the song is enthralling. I have consistently followed the movies of Thaman and have seen his utmost hardworking nature. He is going to reach greater heights. After watching the trailer, I got a clear picture that the film is going to be a perfect horror treat for the fans. Horror films always draw crowds to theatres, and I am happy that ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ is going to be a successful film. I am praying that the production house profits through this film. My best wishes to the entire team. Thank you all.”

Director Meera Nandan said, “It is not an easy task to shoot a film during the night. It is evident that the entire team of ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ has worked extremely hard. The waiting period of Thaman is incredibly inspiring, and after 14 years, he has started his spree of being a part of good movies. ‘Oru Nodi’ was a decent hit and a profitable one for the producers. Romeo Pictures Raahul has facilitated a great release for many movies, thereby creating a successful scenario for the projects he has undertaken. Significantly, it was evident with director Ram’s ‘Parandhu Po’. Now, they have added their Midas touch to ‘Jenma Natchathiram’. I wish the entire team great success.”

Director Arivazhagan said, “Cable Shankar sir told me that the team has made a good film. Moreover, the crew wanted me to be here as the genre is horror. The title ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ is an all-time classic horror hit, and now the team has made a film with the same title. There are lots of sub-categories in the horror genre, but according to me, a strong clarity in writing and then executing it on screen with precision will yield good results. There are films where the trailer has no connection to the movie, but I can clearly sense that ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ will be a proper horror film. Fans are going to get an enthralling treat. Creating horror films comes with great challenges, as vision alone is not enough. A strong technical crew including the musician, cinematographer, editor, art director and cast must come together to make a complete product. My best wishes to the entire team for great success.”

Actress Malvi Malhotra said, “The entire film’s technical crew is a blessing as they have elevated it perfectly. Thaman is such an inspiring person, and I am sure that he is going to be part of many promising projects. I have always admired Tamil cinema for its unique and fresh content. ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ is going to be a special movie for all of us. It is totally unpredictable and audiences will not be able to guess what is next until the climax. The film’s plot revolves around a shocking horror incident. Whether it was just a dream or something real forms the crux of this story.”

Music Director Sanjay Manickam said, “I am so happy that the production house has given me the opportunity to compose music again for their film. The film has come out very well. I thank the director and production team for giving the creative space. We had a lot of interactions for the best output. The entire team has worked very hard. There are two songs in the film,  a duet crooned by me and Chinmayi ma’am, written by Sneghan sir, and another power packed number which you all appreciated today. I thank my programmers and the entire team. My thanks to all.”

Actor Thaman Akash said,  “Exorcist’, ‘Omen’, ‘Poltergeist’ and many more horror films are classics that continue to enthral horror film buffs. The old ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ was almost like a Tamil version of the original ‘Omen’, and now we have made this film as a spin off which serves as a prequel. Just like the climax of ‘Oru Nodi’ was shocking, even ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ will be more shocking and unpredictable. The entire team felt like family. It is a professional team without distractions. All of us are teetotallers. My humble thanks to the press and media for encouraging and appreciating my performance. I have groomed and attempted my best to deliver a more refined performance in this film. This will be a step ahead of ‘Oru Nodi’. Just like how this opportunity came at the premiere of ‘Oru Nodi’, our next film began after the screening of this one. I thank everyone for being here to bless and support us. I had very few shooting days with Thalaivasal Vijay sir, but it was a great opportunity to work with him. The sound quality in Arivazhagan sir’s films like ‘Eeram’ and ‘Sabdham’ is brilliant. I thank Lokesh Ajls for being here. His film ‘Eleven’ is outstanding. Erode Mahesh is like my mirror reflection. I thank the entire team for being supportive, and we will try to give a great cinematic experience like ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ in our next film. I request press and media friends to support this film. Thank you all.”

Director Manivarman said, “I got the opportunity for ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ through Vijayan sir after he watched our film ‘Oru Nodi’. Without him, this project would not have been possible. I thank producer Subashini ma’am for this opportunity. I thank Romeo Pictures Raahul for releasing this film. We shot the film across 29 nights, and that was a challenging experience. My technical crew, especially cinematographer KG, had to endure a lot as he was diagnosed with typhoid. He would go to the hospital in the morning, take medication, and still report to the night shoot. My humble thanks to the entire cast and crew for allowing my vision to come alive on screen. My heartfelt thanks to my assistant direction team. ‘Jenma Natchathiram’ is our humble effort and we hope you will like this film. Thank you all. Kindly watch it in theatres on July 18.”
