The City was treated
to an evening of glitz and glamour as the eighth edition of 'Face of Chennai'
got underway at the grand finale. Face of Chennai 2019 is a ‘talent hunt’
to identify complete beauty, personality and positive
attitude in young men and women aged between 18 -26 years with the prime
target audience being college students and working professionals.
Latha Krishna of IRIS EVENTS, the
originator of the concept says 'Face of Chennai' was first launched in 2012.
This year's contest saw an enthusiastic response with over 2000 contestants
auditioned in the 1st level and 200 contestants shortlisted for the second
level. These contestants went through an intensive workshop conducted by
IRIS Glam where they were instructed in Styling, Ramp Walk techniques,
Make-over and Personal Branding. 40 contestants were shortlisted to participate
in the grand finale.
The event is an initiative of IRIS
team and is supported by Naturals India’s No 1 hair & beauty salon and IRIS
Glam – Training Future Stars. A thematic Fashion Choreography Show was staged
by Sanjay Asrani. The event was well attended by celebrities and noted
personalities from all walks of life.

Photography, Ispahani Centre, Vaishali Kola, Scope, Lenco and HarithTharang.

Ms.Nirja, Student of NIFT was the winner of Naturals & IRIS Glam FACE OF CHENNAI
2019, Ms.Muskan Student of MOP was 1st runner up & Ms.Kirthika Student of SRM University was
2nd runner up. Mr.Mohammed
Yihiya, Businessman was the winner of Naturals & IRIS Glam
FACE OF CHENNAI 2019, Mr.Vignesh, Architect Profession was 1st runner
up and Mr.Kasim, BPO Profession was
2nd runner up.
