RAISING CEREMONY OF NCC NAVAL UNIT HELD AT VELAMMAL

Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organised RAISING CEREMONY OF NCC JD 1  (TN) NAVAL UNIT in its campus on 20th March, 2021 that marked a momentous day in the legacy of Velammal. 

The ceremony was presided by our honourable Chief Guests Col. Arun Pushkarna, Director, Logistics, NCC Directorate, Chennai and Shri Vaisakh SS, NCC Petty Officer of the New Unit NCC, Tamil Nadu.

The auspicious event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag and the NCC Flag, followed by a speech on significance of NCC Navel that shed light on how to become responsible citizens by the motto of discipline and unity.

The air splashed with joy, when the pupils of Vel's Natyalaya performed a special dance on National Integration. The event was taken ahead when our Chief Guest Col. Arun Pushkarna delivered in his key note address that the need of the hour is discipline and patriotism among the student community and NCC Naval is one best platform to inculcate these values.

NCC Naval Cadets were honoured with certificates. A defining day for the cadets filled with high spirits.
