IFA – 13th Annual International Tax Conference

The International Fiscal Association (IFA) is the only non-governmental and non-sectoral international organisation dealing with fiscal matters, which was established in the year 1938 with Netherlands as its headquarters. The main objectives of this organisation are the study and advancement of international and comparative law with regard to public finance, financial and economic aspects of taxation and specifically the international and comparative fiscal law.


The 13th IFA Annual International Tax Conference 2019 is a two-day event, that will take place at Taj Connemara, Anna Salai, Chennai on 15th & 16th of November.  Honourable Chief Justice Mr. Byran Sykes, Supreme Court of Jamaica, will inaugurate the Conference on 15 November 2019, Friday, at 09.00 am, followed by a special address given by the Honourable Justice Mr. P. P. Bhatt, President of the Income-Tax Appellate Tribunal, India.
 


The two-day event will have eminent speakers from across the country address the delegates, on various contemporary topics with regard to international taxation and transfer pricing.


The International Fiscal Association - India Branch has its Southern Regional Chapter headquartered at Chennai. The IFA-SRC, Chennai is a dynamic forum in South India, which is actively involved in conducting educative programs and interactive conferences on the current developments in international economics and taxation policies, both from the Indian perspective as well as the perspective of other nations.   IFA-SRC has also been organising Annual Conferences for the last 12 years and is regarded as of the flagship events on International taxation in Chennai and South India. Through these activities we invite new ideas and tax policies, in a bid to achieve efficiency and better governance.
