Tushar Pandey shedding light on his character in Aamir Khan’s Rang De Basanti



Post his portrayal of a character in Soojit Sarkar's Pink (2016) which starred Amitabh Bachchan and TaapseePannu as the lead protagonist, Tushar Pandey has finally arrived with his upcoming friendship drama called Hum Chaar produced by Rajshri Productions.

Tushar Pandey shedding some light on his experience of working with such a renowned production like Rajshri and about his Hum Chaar co-stars Anshuman Malhotra, PritKamani and Simran Sharma. He said, "It was a great experience as we began our preparation 45 days before the shoot. I found three new friends and never felt like we are actually doing some work. Because of our bond on the sets, we didn't even notice about the completion of the entire film's shooting."

A rare known fact about Tushar is that he did a very small part in RakeshOmprakashMehra&Aamir Khan's Rang De Basanti (2006) as his very first acting gig. Tushar remembering the story behind the camera said, "I did it just for fun. I didn't know that it would become so popular. People still send me messages and asks me that 'Is it me or someone else?'." 

Sharing his process of working in films and theater, he added, "Due to theatre, I got a direction to approach a skill of acting. As an actor I feel, the process of acting is same but medium changes the treatment of it. As an actor, it's our responsibility, to be honest towards our character."
Tushar's next venture is Chhichhore where he would be seen playing a parallel lead alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor. Talking about the development stage of the film, the actor quotes, “Yes, it's a very big project for me. The shoot is in the process and I can't reveal much about it. Right now, my full energy is for Hum Chaar because this is the film which has given me that position." 
Hum Chaar directed by Abhishek Dixit is all set to entertain the audiences and hit the screens on 15th February.

Tushar Pandey, the newbie in town is all set for his upcoming project ‘Hum Chaar’ under the prestigious banner of Rajshri Productions. The production house has been a pioneer in bringing fresh faces into the showbiz, and the actor seems overwhelmed to be a part of Rajshri family.

Elaborating his excitement, the actor said, To be part of this legacy is a dream come true. I’ve grown watching Rajshri films and was on cloud nine when this opportunity was offered to me. Each day on the set has been a living dream and it still makes me emotional. Working for them has been an amazing experience and would like to do many more projects with them.’

His past projects, in a nutshell, have been films like Pink, Beyond Blue, etc., which were of different genres. With Hum Chaar, the actor is sure to add a feather to his acting career.

’Hum Chaar brought some nostalgic memories’’ says Tushar Pandey

Tushar Pandey is all set for his next film ‘Hum Chaar’ and his excitement seems never-ending. While promotions for the film has already kick-started on a cheerful note, we have an interesting insight for all the movie buffs.

Directed by Abhishek Dixit, most of the film was shot in Sharda University and the entire schedule made Tushar recollect his college days. Elaborating his experience that was overpowered by his emotions, the newbie said, “I have enjoyed working with the Hum Chaar team as the film brought too many nostalgic memories from my days at National School of Drama (NSD) and Kirori Mal College (KMC) in New Delhi. I could relate to most of the scenes and college student mannerism as I have gone through the same phase and excitement. You can say that this is going to be one of the most relatable college drama film ever made in Bollywood. It surely will take you down the memory lane."
Along with promoting the film, Tushar is also shooting for Nitesh Tiwari's next directorial venture 'Chhichhore' which also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput. With such compelling movies lined-up, it would definitely be an interesting year for the young artist.
