`Varun Dhawan and Co. underwent exhaustive prep to match steps with the world’s best

Remo D’Souza’s upcoming musical, Street Dancer 3D, which has Varun Dhawan playing a London-based dancer of Indian origin who takes part in a in a competition with participants from different countries, is gearing up for a Republic Day release. The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar and director Remo D’souza’s wife Lizelle, explores the culture of street dancing in India, and has roped in real-life street dancers for pivotal roles.

As part of their prep, all the actors, including Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi underwent a prolonged dance workshop which started around three months before taking the film on the floors. “It was essential because we are playing with several dance forms, including crumping, breaking, hip hop, old school and B-boying. The actors trained with different choreographers, all masters in their own styles,” informs Remo, adding that the sessions continued even during the shoot in Punjab, London and Mumbai. “We kept training till the film wrapped up, so it was like a sixmonth dance camp.”

Since no training camp is devoid of injuries, this one, too, despite the presence of three physiotherapists on the set throughout the shoot, had someone or the other suffering a back or leg injury. There were moments of real anxiety when Varun broke his knee and Shraddha was down with fever just before the final face-off.

“They had to compete with the world’s best dancers when both actors fell prey to the incessant rains. However, they were very professional and dove into a crowd of 1000-plus with 500 back-up dancers and completed the climax shoot within the deadline without complaints,” the director recounts.

A choreographer himself, he is all raves for Nora, promising the film will showcase her in a dancing avatar not seen before. “Unlike ABCD and its sequel where the dancing was on stage, this film is about underground dance face-offs. Expect the unexpected,” he quips.

With the track being an instant favourite among the party goers, the young singer was recently spotted pub crawling in Mumbai along with the singer Sachet Tandon.

Saaho, the action thriller is in the last leg of its shoot. The final schedule of the film and two songs were shot in several locations across Innsbruck and in Tirol region of Austria. The lead duo Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant arrived at Innsbruck with the crew for the final schedule of the Sujeeth-directed multilingual, Saaho. The film stars Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Murali Sharma, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vennela Kishore, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and Mandira Bedi.

Looking at recent stills from our shots across Innsbruck and Tirol region, it seems as though the locations seamlessly inculcate with the picturesque sequences of our high-octane action thriller.

The shoot initially began in the Alpine city of Innsbruck. The city beautifully blends raw breathtaking landscapes with an imperial city center. This juxtaposition is what really attracted ‘Saaho’ to shoot across Innsbruck including the House of Music, the Innsbruck tram, Finstertal Dam in Kühtai, as well as at the aDLERS hotel. Some scenes were also shot at nearby town of Seefeld. Additionally, we had the privilege and support to shoot for a romantic song at the ‘Top of Tyrol’ mountain at Stubaier Glacier and Gaislachkogel IceQ in Sölden which was one of the most memorable experiences for our crew. Some parts of the romantic song we also filmed at the Highline Suspension Bridge in Reutte.

For our upcoming Song, we filmed at Salzburg Airport in Red Bull’s Hangar 7. Along with the talented dancers from Red Bull Flying Steps the scenes truly came together beautifully within the glass dome after which the crew celebrated the wrap of the Austria Schedule.

The wait is now over, as indicated by Prabhas' new post on Instagram. The latest poster of Saaho - which shows the most intense look of Prabhas this far - shared on his Instagram finally shares the date of release - 15 August 2019

The anticipation is at an all-time high for the superstar's first movie after the record-shattering Baahubali. It is probably the first time a movie has created such intense anticipation without any leaks about its storyline.

The ‘Shades of Saaho’ Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 - Behind The Scenes videos were released on Prabhas’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s birthdays respectively. The teasers promise an action packed thriller, showcasing Prabhas in a new avatar.

However, the plotline remains a mystery.
Produced by UV Creations, ‘Saaho’ is directed by Sujeeth and will mark Shraddha Kapoor’s debut in Telugu cinema. ‘Saaho’s cast also includes Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunkey Pandey and Evelyn Sharma.

Prabhas starrer Saaho gets distribution rights in Japan

Actor Prabhas' fanbase is spread not only across India but world over. He has a huge fan following in many Asian countries including Japan and his past movies have done extremely well there. The actor even travelled to Japan for Baahubali's promotions.

Prabhas' Japanese fans, now, have another reason to celebrate. The star's upcoming action movie, Saaho has got its distribution rights in Japan. Sources from the team have confirmed this news and said, "Saaho will be dubbed in Japanese for the audience there, and a countrywide release is planned after its release in India. Prabhas might also go to Japan again to promote the film and interact with his fans"

Director Sujeeth is helming this project which is being bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy, Vikram Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations. Saaho also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Evelyn Sharma in important roles.

Tushar Pandey is all set for his next film ‘Hum Chaar’ and his excitement seems never-ending. While promotions for the film has already kick-started on a cheerful note, we have an interesting insight for all the movie buffs.

Directed by Abhishek Dixit, most of the film was shot in Sharda University and the entire schedule made Tushar recollect his college days. Elaborating his experience that was overpowered by his emotions, the newbie said, “I have enjoyed working with the Hum Chaar team as the film brought too many nostalgic memories from my days at National School of Drama (NSD) and Kirori Mal College (KMC) in New Delhi. I could relate to most of the scenes and college student mannerism as I have gone through the same phase and excitement. You can say that this is going to be one of the most relatable college drama film ever made in Bollywood. It surely will take you down the memory lane."

Along with promoting the film, Tushar is also shooting for Nitesh Tiwari's next directorial venture 'Chhichhore' which also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput. With such compelling movies lined-up, it would definitely be an interesting year for the young artist.

 The most anticipated film of the year, Bhushan Kumar and Remo D'Souza's yet to be titled dance musical which features VarunDhawan as the lead will commence the seven day long schedule today in Punjab. The team which includes, Bhushan Kumar, Remo D'souza, VarunDhawan and LizelleD’souza, visited the Golden Temple yesterday on landing in Amritsar.

Bhushan Kumar shares, “We’ve got a lot of positive energy from the temple and are now geared up for the shoot. It’s an exciting project for our music label to be associated with, since being a dance film it has scope for a lot of songs. We have 12 in all and Sachin–Jigar’s album will be a mix of original, folk and recreated songs.”

Bhushan Kumar furthered added that they will be shooting for a Punjabi wedding song, followed by a few emotional sequences featuring Varun and his reel life family. After this, they will fly off to London for a 40-day schedule that begins on February 10.

The film opens on November 8. “I’ve known Varun’s father and his brother Rohit since a long time. I share a friendly equation with him as well. Varun has a great sense of script and music, he is involved in every aspect of filmmaking,” asserted Bhushan who is producing the film with Remo’s wife, LizelleD’souza.’’

Bhushan confirms that the film is not part of any franchise and that they will reveal the title soon. “It’s a completely original concept which we are planning to spin into a franchise,” he stated.

Shraddha Kapoor who will be seen sharing the screen with Varun again is currently learning different dance forms with Remo’s team and will join the unit in London. Nora Fatehi also plays a pivotal role.

 Amidst all the speculations of the Dilbar girl replacing another B-town diva, Nora Fatehi has been officially roped in for this dance flick. Helmed by Remo D’souza and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza, the yet untitled movie stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead alongside Nora. Nora has already won our hearts with her sexy moves and hot attire in the sensational song. She went on to deliver yet another hit song last year ‘Kamariya’ in the blockbuster film ‘Stree’.

Needless to say, her amazing moves not only won the hearts of her fans, but also the directors of the B-town. Says Nora, “I am extremely excited to be a part of this project. Remo sir is extremely talented and I am looking forward to learn a lot from him.  After the success of ABCD 2 the trio Remo D'Souza, Varun Dhawan And Shraddha Kapoor are reuniting for India’s biggest dance film. The yet-to-be-titled next is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Lizelle D’Souza and directed by Remo.

Bhushan Kumar who will be producing the musical has bought on board Shraddha Kapoor to join the dancing team.  The actress will be seen as a professional dancer representing the Indian contingent alongside Varun Dhawan and his team in this film which has several dance faceoffs on the lines of the Hollywood franchise Step Up. The film is set to go on floors in Punjab on January 22.

Shraddha Kapoor confirms the news and shares, “I’m excited to reunite with Remo sir, Prabhudehva sir and Varun after ABCD 2. This was made possible by Bhushanji who brought us back and believed in this amazing story. It is going to be a lot of hard work for everyone involved but we are all pumped up.”

Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film with Remo’s wife Lizelle, reveals that the plan is to make India’s biggest dance film in 3D, “The audience has already seen Varun and Shraddha’s chemistry, now, Remo will redefine dance for our audience,” he promises, happy to team up with his Aashiqui 2, Saaho and Saina leading lady.

Lizelle D’Souza adds, “we are happy that shraddha has joined the cast and our team is complete now. Shraddha is a beautiful and hardworking girl and we had fun in all our previous work with her. Its time to start rolling now.”

Remo shares, “It feels like old friends have come together to help us. We have worked as a team in the past and I’m sure it will be a fun ride again,”.
