Recently, a media consulting firm Ormax Media released a list of the most-liked Hindi film songs of the decade (2010-2019). While Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2 surfaced on the top at the No. 1 position songs such as Munni Badnaam Hui from Dabangg, Sunn Raha Hai from Aashiqui 2, Sheila Ki Jawani from Tees Maar Khan, Galliyan from Ek Villian, Dilbar from Satyamev Jayate, Lungi Dance from Chennai Express, Pee Loon from Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Baby Doll from Ragini MMS 2 and Sanam Re title track followed behind.

Check out the tweet here:
What is noteworthy is that all the top 10 songs were produced by none other than T-Series!
If you need any further proof of T-Series being at the top of the music game then we need not go back too far. Ormax has also announced the top Bollywood soundtracks of 2019. It does not come as a big surprise that out of the top five film music albums, four belong to T-Series alone.
While Kabir Singh is at the number 1 position, Luka Chuppi and Marjaavaan occupy the number 2 and 3 positions respectively. Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy playlist ranks fourth. The Salman Khan starrer Bharat takes the fifth spot. This reinstates the fact that Bhushan Kumar’s ear sense of identifying chartbuster music is unparalleled and unique.
T-Series started the New Year with a bang with the mega-success of Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Street Dancer 3D starring Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor.
Bhushan Kumar is all set to continue the momentum set by Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Street Dancer 3D  with an amazing array of films like Malang, Ludo, Mumbai Saga, Thappad, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Indoo Ki Jawani, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Bhuj: The Pride of India and many more to count.

I’ve inherited the quality of understanding good music

“I’ve inherited the quality of understanding good music from my father” says Bhushan Kumar at the All About Music Conference 2018

One of India's leading music and film producer, Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, T-Series was hosted as a speaker in conversation with Devraj Sanyal, Managing Director, and CEO, Universal Music Group & EMI Music, India & South Asia at All About Music Conference (2018) held in Mumbai yesterday. Soon after, moving forward in the session, Bhushan's success story received a thunderous applause from the audience seated at the conference where he spoke about – ‘The Making of World’s Biggest YouTube Music Channel’
All About Music, in its second edition is an inclusive platform for addressing challenges and growth opportunities charted in the music industry through national and global speakers.
Having lead T-Series at the young age of 19 after his father, Gulshan Kumar's untimely death, Bhushan Kumar has surely come a long way in making T-Series the second most subscribed YouTube channel and bringing the company to the position it stands today. What makes Bhushan Kumar and T-Series stand out amongst the rest is the super hit music and films they produce every year.
On being asked about his good knowledge in music, Bhushan Kumar said, “I’ve inherited the quality of understanding good music from my father.” When Bhushan Kumar took over T-Series, he first bought the music of Aflatoon, followed by Dulhe Raja whose song track, Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare is still a favorite Bollywood number, along with O O Jaane Jaana and Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. The music from Bhushan’s first negotiation deal with late producer Jhamu Sugandh for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam created an overwhelming impression amongst the listeners then and the disclosure was greeted with claps yesterday also.
Bhushan Kumar’s first effort of independently creating music was with Sonu Nigam’s album Deewana which became an instant super hit. Having seen T-Series transforming from the era of cassettes to the digital space, Bhushan said, "When the digital revolution was approaching, we were scared. It was so new to all of us but we when we took it over, it was so convenient because we took it head on. YouTube became a sensation and we saw some new artists and some new faces coming up."
T-Series has always encouraged new talent and has also launched many newcomers under its umbrella. After Bhushan Kumar’s film, Aashiqui 2 became a blockbuster, T-Series sunk their teeth and went into film production in a big way. Today, T-Series makes around 10-12 films each year out of which almost every film storms the box office collection.
With a line-up of A-list films and topnotch music videos, T-Series has certainly set the bar high for itself in the coming years.
