Tamil Remake Shooting takes off  

The most eligible bachelor in town Harish Kalyan now plays a not so eligible, laid back engineering graduate who is pushed into the marriage game.

The handsome young actor is cast opposite the talented and gorgeous Priya Bhavanishankar who will be seen in a fun and fresh look, in a film that is centred around the ‘Matchmaking Ceremony’ that marks an important part of an arranged marriage.

This is the official remake of the Telugu block buster film "Pelli Choopulu", starring Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Verma.

Kaarthikk Sundar, a former associate of director A.L Vijay makes his directorial debut with this film.

The shooting commenced this morning (December 11) in Chennai with a Ritual Ceremony attended by the Cast and Crew members.

This is an A Studios LLP and Havish Productions’ second film and is produced by Mr.Koneru Satyanarayana and production will be executed by SP Cinemas.

“I am actually going through a mixed feeling of excitement and butterflies in the stomach at the same time,” says director Kaarthikk Sundar, smilingly who brings up a valid reason from his perspective on this.

“When I first saw Pelli Choopulu I was in awe as to how simple and rooted the movie was. I immediately called my best friend since childhood, Harish Kalyan and told him if this film were to be remade in Tamil, he would fit the lead character perfectly. It is funny how the universe listened to that conversation and, here we are. I’m also excited to work with Priya Bhavanishankar who is playing the female lead as she is a thorough actor and I’ve always enjoyed her performances on screen.

The film is purely a content and characters- driven film, which has an effortless natural essence to it. Having mentioned the ‘Naturalness’ factor, we have made certain changes to the script to suit our regional audience's sensibilities.

Senior Artiste Nassar initiated the proceedings with the clap board while Hero Harish Kalayan and heroine Priya Bhavani Shankar took part in the first shot of the film.

While Vishal Chandrasekhar will be composing music for this film, the cinematography will be handled by Krishnan Vasant, the project will be coordinated by Kodali Muralekrisshna.
The others in the technical team includes Kripa (Editor), Deepak Sundarrajan (Dialogues), Sadhish.K (Art Director), Anusha Meenakshi (Costume Designer) and Surya (Stills).The Movie will be a Summer Treat for the audience.

Talented music director C S Sam has come a long way from the days of his debut film  "Puriyatha puthir".He carved a name for himself in a very short span of time and that is all evident in the enormous response of  "NOTA".It is to be noted that "NOTA" a bilingual, starring  the dynamic Vijay Devarkonda in the lead, directed by the promising Anand Shankar, and produced by K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio green has C S Sam on board as a music director and his music is said to have won many accolades across both the audience of Tamil and Telugu.

“This is a dream come true for me as I had been pondering over such a thing for years. Finally, I happy that my imaginations have become a reality through NOTA and all credit goes to producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja sir of Studio Green Films. Without his earnest gesture of giving me freedom, this would have not been possible. As soon as I expressed my idea about bringing in an orchestral grandeur, he instantly gave a nod without any second thoughts,” says Sam CS, who cannot stop raving about producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja.  

Giving an in-depth about the orchestral magnum opus – The Rise of a Leader, Sam CS says, “The situational placement of this track demanded for an overpowering musical accompaniment. While discussing this with filmmaker Anand Shankar, we felt that something phenomenally huge will escalate the majestic aura and that’s when, I got an idea of making it emblazoned through Macedonian Symphonic Orchestra. More than 150 Live Players have been a part of NOTA Background score, especially for this song, which has involved mammoth instrumentals of Strings and Brass.” 

With his responsibility of savouring the music buffs with a radically distinctive BGM increasing with every movie, Sam tots up saying, “NOTA will have a musical grandeur with Background Score. I am not giving a self-aggrandizing statement, but the sequences in the film are so powerful that it demanded me to push the bars furthermore and give an appropriate touch.” 

Speaking about the lead actor Vijay Deverakonda, he says, “While the story and visual impact created an obliging force to offer more, the screen presence of Vijay Deverakonda obtrusively exacted me furthermore. Moreover, NOTA happens to be his first ever film that breaks his lover-boy image letting him spearhead with a close-to-reality role. Since, it happens to be a bilingual movie; I had to keep his enlarging his fan base and make sure I am catering to their tastes as well.” 

NOTA featuring Vijay Deverakonda, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Mehreene pirzada, M.S. Bhaskar, Priyadarshi in the star-cast has cinematography handled by Santhana Krishnan with Raymond Derrick Crasta on editing and DRK Kiran and SS Moorthy handling Art.

ஸ்டுடியோ கிரீன் நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் கே.ஈ.ஞானவேல்ராஜா தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியிருக்கும் படம் ‘நோட்டா.’ ‘அர்ஜுன் ரெட்டி’, ‘கீதா கோவிந்தம்’ புகழ் விஜய் தேவரகொண்டா இந்தப்படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழில் நாயகனாக அறிமுகமாகிறார். நாயகியாக மெஹ்ரீன் பிர்ஸாடா நடித்துள்ளார். முக்கிய வேடத்தில் சத்யராஜ், சன்சனா நடராஜன், நாசர், எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கர் நடித்துள்ள இந்தப்படத்தை  அரிமாநம்பி, இருமுகன் படங்களை இயக்கிய ஆனந்த் சங்கர் இயக்கியுள்ளார்.

இசையமைப்பாளர் சாம் சி.எஸ். இசையமைத்துள்ள இந்தப்படத்தின் இசைவெளியீட்டு விழா மற்றும் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு இன்று மதியம் சென்னை சாலிகிராமம் பிரசாத் லேபில் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த நிகழ்வில் நாயகன் விஜய் தேவரகொண்டா, சத்யராஜ் மற்றும் பிக்பாஸ் புகழ் யாஷிகா’, நாசர், எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கர், இயக்குநர் ஆனந்த் சங்கர், இசையமைப்பாளர் சாம் சி.எஸ்., படத்தொகுப்பாளர் ரேமாண்ட் டெரீக் க்ராஸ்தா ஆகியோர் கலந்துகொண்டனர். 

இந்த நிகழ்வில் எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கர் பேசும்போது, “அரிமா நம்பியில் கொஞ்ச நேரமே வந்தாலும் ரசிகர்கள் மனதில் நிற்கும் விதமாக இயக்குனர் ஆனந்த் ஷங்கர் எனக்கு நல்ல பெயர் வாங்கித்தந்தார். இதிலும் அதேபோல ஒரு கேரக்டரை கொடுத்துள்ளார். மிலிட்டரி படத்திற்குப்பின் பல வருடங்கள் கழித்து சத்யராஜுடன் இணைந்து நடிப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி. படத்தின் நாயகன் விஜய் தேவரகொண்டாவிடம் எனக்கு தெலுங்கு தெரியாதது போல கொஞ்சநாள் ஏமாற்றினேன். அதன்பின் அவருக்கு உண்மை தெரியவந்தபோது செல்லமாக என்னை திட்டினார். இந்தப்படத்திற்கு தமிழில் அவரே அற்புதமாக டப்பிங் பேசியிருக்கிறார்” என்றார். 

நடிகர் நாசர் பேசும்போது, “ரொம்பநாள் கழித்து ஒரு அழுத்தமான கேரக்டரில் நடித்துள்ளேன். நடிப்பு என்கிற விஷயத்தை சுவைக்கின்ற படமாக இது இருக்கும். இருமுகன் படத்தில் என்னை ரொம்ப மெதுவாக வசனங்களை பேச சொன்னார்.. ஆனால் இந்தப்படத்திலும் அப்படி ஏதாவது சொல்வாரோ என பயந்தேன்.. ஆனால் நான் நினைத்து வைத்தது போலவே இந்தப்படத்தில் பேச சொல்லிவிட்டார். இது அரசியல் படம் என்பதால் இதில் நாங்கள் அவ்வப்போது ஒரு காட்சியை படமாக்கி முடிக்கும்போதும் வெளியில் அதேபோல நிகழ்வு நடந்திருக்கும் என்பதுதான் எங்களுக்கு ஆச்சர்யம் தந்தது” என்றார்.

இந்த நிகழ்வில் சன்சனா பேசும்போது, “குறும்படத்தில் நடித்துவிட்டு, அடுத்ததாக வெப் சீரிஸில் நடித்திருந்த என்னை எப்படியோ கண்டுபிடித்து இந்த கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நடிக்க வைத்துள்ளார் ஆனந்த் சங்கர். அதேபோல தயாரிப்பாளர் ஞானவேல்ராஜாவும் என்னை நம்பியதற்கு நன்றி” என்றார். 

இசையமைப்பாளர் சாம் சி.எஸ் பேசும்போது, “ஆனந்த் சங்கரை பொறுத்தவரை பாடல்களை குறைத்து பின்னணி இசையில் கவனம் செலுத்துவார். எனக்கும் அதே அலைவரிசை என்பதால் எளிதாக செட்டாகி விட்டோம். இந்தப்படத்தின் பின்னணி இசையை கவனிப்பவர்கள், இவர் வித்தியாசமான முயற்சிகளை பண்ணுவார் என என்மீது நம்பிக்கை வைக்க ஆரம்பிப்பார்கள். நாம் எதிர்கொண்ட, நம்மை பாதித்த விஷயங்களை இதில் ஆரம்பம் முதல் என்ட் கார்டு வரை விறுவிறுப்பு குறையாமல் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார் இயக்குனர்” என்றார்.

சத்யராஜ் பேசும்போது, “நடப்பு அரசியலை அதிரடியாக படமாக எடுக்கும் தைரியம் இயக்குனர் மணிவண்ணனுக்கு மட்டுமே இருந்தது. அமைதிப்படை, கோ என அரசியல் படங்களில் புதிய பாணியை புகுத்தியது போல இந்தப்படத்திலும் புகுத்தியிருக்கிறார் இயக்குனர் ஆனந்த் சங்கர்.. எனக்கு பொதுவாகவே வேறு மொழியில் பேசி நடிப்பது தான் கொஞ்சம் கஷ்டமான விஷயம்.. நண்பன் படத்தின் தெலுங்கு வெர்ஷனுக்காக தெலுங்கை தமிழில் எழுதி வைத்துக்கொண்டு ஈஸியாக 

பேசிவிடலாம் என நினைத்தேன். ஆனால் ஒருநாள் முழுதும் முயன்றும் என்னால் ஒரிஜினல் தெலுங்கில் பேசமுடியவே இல்லை. ஆனால் இந்தப்படத்தின் ஹீரோ விஜய் தேவரகொண்டாவோ, அழகான தமிழ் உச்சரிப்புடன் வசனங்களை பேசியதுடன் நாலு பக்க வசனங்களை ஞாபகமாக வைத்து பேசுவது கண்டும் பிரமித்து போனேன். ரொம்பநாளாகவே எந்த மேக்கப்பும் இல்லாமல் இயல்பான கெட்டப்பில் நடிக்கவேண்டும் என்கிற ஆசை இருந்தது. அந்த ஆசையை இதில் நிறைவேற்றி வைத்துவிட்டார் ஆனந்த் சங்கர்.

இயக்குநர் ஆனந்த் சங்கர் பேசும்போது, “இந்தப்படத்தின் ஸ்கிரிப்ட் தயாரானவுடன் நாயகனாக யார் என்கிற கேள்வி எழுந்தது.. காரணம் இதில் ஹீரோவைத்தவிர மற்றவர்களுக்கும் நடிப்பதற்கு நிறைய வாய்ப்பு இருந்தது. அப்போதுதான் தெலுங்கில் பெல்லி சூப்புலு, அர்ஜுன் ரெட்டி என கலக்கலான வெரைட்டியான படங்களின் மூலம் ஒரு நம்பிக்கை நட்சத்திரமாக விஜய் தேவரகொண்டா உருவாகிக்கொண்டு 

இருந்தார். தமிழ் ரசிகர்களும் சப் டைட்டிலுடன் அவரது படங்களை பார்த்து ரசிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர். ஏன் இவரையே தமிழ் பேசவைக்க கூடாது என முடிவு செய்து தயாரிப்பாளர் ஞானவேல்ராஜாவிடம் சொன்னேன்.. அவரும் எந்த மறுப்பும் 

சொல்லாமல் பச்சைக்கொடி காட்டவே விஜய் தேவரகொண்டாவை சந்தித்து  கதை சொன்னேன். முதலில் அரைமணி நேரம் கதை சுருக்கத்தை மட்டும் சொல்லிவிட்டு வந்தேன். ஆனால் அன்று மாலையே என்னை அழைத்து முழுக்கதையும் 

சொல்லுங்கள் என கூறியபோதே இந்தப்படத்தின் கதாநாயகன் இருக்கையில் அவர் அமர்ந்துவிட்டார். மொழி தெரியாத ஹீரோ என்பதால் வசனங்களை எதுவும் அவர் மாற்ற சொல்லாமல் நடித்து எனக்கு வசதியாக இருந்தது. படத்தில் அவரது தமிழ் உச்சரிப்பு எந்தவித மாறுபாடும் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாதவாறு அவ்வளவு நேச்சுரலாக இருக்கிறது.

அதேபோல சத்யராஜ் சாரும் முதலில் தயங்கினார். ஆனால் கதை கேட்டதும் டபுள் ஒகே சொல்லிவிட்டார். கதாநாயகியாக நடித்துள்ள மெஹ்ரீன் பிர்ஸாடா படம் வெளியானபின் யாரந்த பொண்ணு என நிச்சயம் கேட்பார்கள். அதேபோல அருவி படம் பார்த்துவிட்டு அதன் ட்ரெய்லரை பார்த்ததுமே எடிட்டர் ரேமாண்ட் டெரீக் க்ராஸ்தா தான் இந்தப்படத்திற்கு எடிட்டர் என முடிவுசெய்துவிட்டேன்.. ட்ரெய்லருக்கு கூட நான் ஐடியா எதுவும் கொடுக்கவில்லை.. அவர் போக்கிலேயே விட்டுவிட்டேன். 

இசையமைப்பாளர் சாம் சி.எஸ் இங்கிருந்தபடியே மாசிடோனியாவில் உள்ள 72 இசைக்கலைஞர்களை வைத்து வீடியோ ஸ்கிரீன் மூலமாக பின்னணி இசை அமைத்து அதிர வைத்துள்ளார். இரண்டு த்ரில்லர் படங்கள் இயக்கியிருந்தாலும் இதுபோன்ற ட்ராமா பாணி படம் இயக்குவது தான் எனக்கு பிடிக்கும்.. அதனாலேயே 48 நாட்களிலேயே இந்தப்படத்தை எளிதாக முடிக்க முடிந்தது.” என்றார்.

நாயகன் விஜய் தேவரகொண்டா பேசும்போது, “முதல் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பின்போது மற்றவர்கள் பேசுவது எதுவும் புரியாத நிலையில் அதை கவனிக்காமல், எண்ணித்துணிக கருமம் என்கிற திருக்குறளை திரும்பத்திரும்ப மனப்பாடம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டு இருந்தேன்.. ஆனால் இப்போது தமிழில் நானே திருக்குறள் ஒப்பிக்கும் அளவுக்கு வந்துவிட்டேன்... இயக்குனர் ஆனந்த் சங்கருடன் பணியாற்றியது ரொம்ப ஈஸியாக இருந்தது. இந்தப்படம் குறித்து டிவிட்டரில் அடிக்கடி மரண வெயிட்டிங் என கமெண்ட் போடப்பட்டு இருந்தது.. அதேபோல நானும் இந்தப்படத்திற்காக மரண வெயிட்டிங்.. இந்தப்படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழ் மக்களின் மனதை வெல்லவேண்டும் என்பதுதான் என் ஆசை.” என்றவர் ‘சொன்னது போலவே திருக்குறள் ஒன்றை அழகாக உச்சரித்து அனைவரையும் ஆச்சர்யப்படுத்தினார்.
