Producer Sajeev Meerashahib says "We are indeed delighted to do a film with Sathyaraj Sir as the lead.  He has got an amazing power of positivity that spreads to all. This script demanded his presence. When director Dheran narrated the script to me we mutually accepted that only Sathyaraj Sir can play this role. Such is the message and such is the aura of the name Sathyaraj Sir. As a Producer I opted to choose to produce this film in Tamil since I strongly believed that the reach would be much bigger.More over Tamil Nadu has been the breeding ground for social justice and will be forever. We are commencing the shoot by “mid December" said Producer Sajeev Meerashahib of HoneyBee Creations.

 

Director Dheran who had also written the story says "I thank my producer Sajeev Meerashahib Sir, for trusting me and entrusting this major assignment. This script demanded a courageous producer apart from a commanding hero. Sajeev Meerashahib Sir, as the producer and Sathyaraj Sir as the hero had given life to the film. 

The protagonist of this film is a warrior of social justice. Sathyaraj Sir with his sheer weightage of being a man of uncompromising attitude was the sole choice. I was amazed by his simplicity, his efforts to connect himself with today's generation is commendable. When we were asked to source a popular name to announce the title of our film, we instantly decided upon Thirumurugan Gandhi because of his presence in social activities. Aanji of "Garuda Vega” (Telugu), fame is the Director of Photography, Prasad S N (Yaamirukka Bayamey and Kaateri)  is the Music Director. Sarath, associate of Editor Ruben is debuting as Editor, Suresh Kalleri (Kutti Puli, Jail) is the Art Director, Nihitha Vincent is the executive producer. The other cast and crew  will be announced soon.

SAM CS CREATES AN OVERPOWERING SYMPHONIC MAGIC WITH 150 LIVE MUSICIANS FOR NOTA

Talented music director C S Sam has come a long way from the days of his debut film  "Puriyatha puthir".He carved a name for himself in a very short span of time and that is all evident in the enormous response of  "NOTA".It is to be noted that "NOTA" a bilingual, starring  the dynamic Vijay Devarkonda in the lead, directed by the promising Anand Shankar, and produced by K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio green has C S Sam on board as a music director and his music is said to have won many accolades across both the audience of Tamil and Telugu.

“This is a dream come true for me as I had been pondering over such a thing for years. Finally, I happy that my imaginations have become a reality through NOTA and all credit goes to producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja sir of Studio Green Films. Without his earnest gesture of giving me freedom, this would have not been possible. As soon as I expressed my idea about bringing in an orchestral grandeur, he instantly gave a nod without any second thoughts,” says Sam CS, who cannot stop raving about producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja.  

Giving an in-depth about the orchestral magnum opus – The Rise of a Leader, Sam CS says, “The situational placement of this track demanded for an overpowering musical accompaniment. While discussing this with filmmaker Anand Shankar, we felt that something phenomenally huge will escalate the majestic aura and that’s when, I got an idea of making it emblazoned through Macedonian Symphonic Orchestra. More than 150 Live Players have been a part of NOTA Background score, especially for this song, which has involved mammoth instrumentals of Strings and Brass.” 

With his responsibility of savouring the music buffs with a radically distinctive BGM increasing with every movie, Sam tots up saying, “NOTA will have a musical grandeur with Background Score. I am not giving a self-aggrandizing statement, but the sequences in the film are so powerful that it demanded me to push the bars furthermore and give an appropriate touch.” 

Speaking about the lead actor Vijay Deverakonda, he says, “While the story and visual impact created an obliging force to offer more, the screen presence of Vijay Deverakonda obtrusively exacted me furthermore. Moreover, NOTA happens to be his first ever film that breaks his lover-boy image letting him spearhead with a close-to-reality role. Since, it happens to be a bilingual movie; I had to keep his enlarging his fan base and make sure I am catering to their tastes as well.” 

NOTA featuring Vijay Deverakonda, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Mehreene pirzada, M.S. Bhaskar, Priyadarshi in the star-cast has cinematography handled by Santhana Krishnan with Raymond Derrick Crasta on editing and DRK Kiran and SS Moorthy handling Art.

Actor Vivek RajGopal has gained a decent scope of his performance and has made sure of getting everyone’s attention through his latest release ‘Echarikkai Idhu Manithargal Nadamaadum Idam’, which also featured Sathyaraj and Kishore alongside him in lead roles, which is directed by Sarjun KM. His performance as Thomas, which holds major portions in the film alongside Kishore has taken a huge appreciation. 

Hailing from Chennai, Vivek Rajgopal  underwent his schooling in Rajinikanth’s Ashram following which his graduation was pursued in Loyola. With a desirable passion for acting, he took training in Kuthu-Pattarai and was trained by Guru Somasundaram in Joker. Getting onto speak about how he got the opportunity to be a part of ‘Eccharikkai’, Vivek RajGopal says, “While I heard about Sarjun gearing up for this film, I was thoroughly travelling with him to get the opportunity. Although, there were lot of considerations and selections for other actors, I didn’t give up and continued to be there. In fact, that was a learning experience to see what the director is expecting from the actors. But after a stage, he selected me to play the role of Thomas. While others in the cast including Sathyaraj, Kishore and Varalaxmi happen to prominent actors, he could have opted for a same league actor, but he had the hope on me and made me a part of this project. At the same time, I thank producer Sundar Annamalai for accepting me as an actor to be a part of this film.” 

Sharing his experience working with Sathyaraj, Vivek says , “I was quite nervous that Sathyaraj might be so much tough after being a part of several movies. But he broke the ice being the friendliest on the sets. On the other hand, Kishore was so helpful in improvising my performance. There were lots of tough scenes between me and Varalaxmi that includes both love and action elements, but she was so much helpful as well.”

Finally summing up, Vivek Rajgopal says that he is keenly looking out to unleash his potentials through not alone through title roles, but with strong substantial characters as well

SUN TV CLASPS SATELLITE RIGHTS OF VENKAT PRABHU’S PARTY 

Venkat Prabhu’s PARTY has left no stone unturned over keeping us so much adhered to its celebrative anticipations. Right from the word ‘Go’ with its announcement till this phase towards release, the film has brimmed us with unflagging vitality. In all such likelihood, here’s one more inclusion to the reason for this team to get overwhelmed with more celebrations. Yes, Sun TV has acquired the satellite rights of this multi-starrer ‘PARTY’ for a fancy price. 

Sharing the news, producer T Siva of Amma Creation says, “Nothing can get bigger or more joyful than this for me as a producer. Everything involving PARTY has been completely positive right from the initial phase. Now as it gets ready for release, it’s indeed a resplendent deal that has happened with Sun TV over the satellite rights. Moreover, Sun TV has proved to be a Kingpin over the years in turning more spotlights upon a film. I am sure and happy that PARTY will get its due dosage of such privilege as well.” 

Furthermore, producer T Siva affirms that plans are going on full swing to get the film released and official announcements would be made shortly. 

Helmed by the ‘Master of Entertainments’ – Venkat Prabhu, the film features Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar,  Jai, Shiva, Chandran, Regina Cassandra, Sanchita Shetty, Nivetha Pethuraj and many more prominent actors. 

Premgi Amaran has composed music for this film with others in the technical department involving Rajesh Yadav (Cinematography), Praveen KL (Editing), Videsh (Art), Stunt Silva (Stunts), Kalyan-Ajay Raj (Choreography) and Vasuki Bhaskar (Costumes).

Anirudh to enthrall with a new dimensional folk number

ANIRUDH TO ENTHRALL WITH A NEW-DIMENSIONAL FOLK NUMBER FOR KANAA

A pure commonality exists among all the music directors who work with Anirudh and it looks inevitably convincing as well. In fact, this has been a pre-existing scenario even before this young musical sparkler debuted in film industry. 

This time, its music director Dhibu Ninan Thomas sharing those same words as he shares his experience while recently recording a folk song with Anirudh for the film ‘Kanaa’. 

“We recorded the song at midnight at Anirudh’s studio that had an informal set up. It was so much easy to work with him. All throughout the session, we could feel the positive and cool vibes prevalent there, which made the song come out well,” says Dhibu Ninan Thomas, who has composed a new dimensional folk number for Aishwarya Rajesh starrer ‘Kanaa’, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. “We have tried something on a new panache with the folk genre. Usually, the instruments like Piano and strings would have more emphasis in melodic romantic numbers, but we have utilized it for a folk number that comes blended with our traditional assets of Thavil and Nathaswaram,” opines Dhibu. 

Furthermore, he adds citing that although Anirudh has crooned many folk numbers, this one will be gratuitously new from his kitty. The versatile lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj has penned this beauteous folk song, which will be filmed Aishwarya Rajesh and Darshan. The latter plays Aishwarya’s love interest and this song is about he tries to woo his beloved belle. 

Touted to be a film based on women cricket, Kanaa marks the debut of Sivakarthikeyan as a producer with his newly launched production studio –Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The film featuring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj in lead roles has geared up for its audio launch to be held in grandeur on August 23. While Sivakarthikeyan had recently announced of having three most adorable pillars of his career – Filmmaker Pandiraj, Anirudh and D Imman to launch the film’s audio, Smriti Mandhana - Indian Women's Cricket Team Captain will be the guest of honour for this occasion and she will be launching the audio.
