Right Eye Theatres சார்பில் தயாரிப்பாளர் பிரபாகரன் மற்றும் இயக்குநர் V Z துரை தயாரிப்பில்,  மிகப்பெரும் ப்ளாக்பஸ்டர் திரைப்படமான தலைநகரம் படத்தின் இரண்டாம் பாகமாக உருவான படம் தலைநகரம் 2. சுந்தர் சி, பாலக் லல்வாணி நடிப்பில்,  இயக்குநர் V Z துரை இயக்கியிருந்த இப்படம் கடந்த 23 ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியானது. ரசிகர்களிடம் ஏகோபித்த வரவேற்பைப் பெற்று, 350 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட திரையரங்குகளில் வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. படத்தின் வெற்றியைக் கொண்டாடும் வகையில், படக்குழுவினர் இன்று பத்திரிக்கை ஊடக நண்பர்களைச் சந்தித்து நன்றி தெரிவித்தனர்.

வழக்கமான இந்த மாதிரி விழாக்களில் தான் நன்றி சொல்ல வேண்டும் ஆனால் இம்மாதிரி விழாக்களே நடப்பது அரிதாகிவிட்டது. அதனால் இசை விழாவிலேயே எல்லோருக்கும் நன்றி சொல்லிவிடுகிறோம். நான் இந்தப்படத்திற்கு எத்தனை தியேட்டர் என துரையிடம் கேட்டேன் அவர் 350க்கும் அதிகம் என்று சொன்ன போது, பயந்துவிட்டேன். இப்போதெல்லாம் ரிலீஸாகும் நாளிலேயே தியேட்டரில் கூட்டமில்லாமல் ஷோ கேன்சலாகும் காலகட்டத்தில் இருக்கிறோம். பெரிய ஹீரோக்கள் படங்களுக்குத் தான் 300 தியேட்டர் போடுகிறார்கள். அதனால் தான் பயந்தேன்.  ஆனால் எல்லாவற்றையும் தாண்டி தலைநகரம் 2 திரையரங்குகளில் ஓடுவது மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தருகிறது. தலைநகரம் 2 ஒரு எமோஷனல் ஆக்சன் மூவி. ஒவ்வொரு ஆக்கனுக்குப் பின்னும் எமோஷன் இருக்கும். நான் நாலு பேரை அடிக்கிறேன் என்பதை நம்பும்படி எடுத்திருந்தார். தியேட்டரில் பார்த்து விட்டு நிறையப் பேர் என்னைப் பாராட்டினார்கள். இந்தப்படத்தை வாங்கிய விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் இங்கு வந்திருக்கிறார்கள். இந்தப்படத்தின் வெற்றிக்கு அவர்களே சாட்சி. இப்படத்தை வெற்றி பெறச் செய்த மக்களுக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் என் நன்றிகள்.

Specifically, he drove a custom-made Honda CRF 250 off a purpose-built ramp on the side of Norway’s Helsetkopen mountain, a vertiginous rock face sat some 1,200 metres above sea level. Then he plunged 4,000 feet into the ravine below before opening his parachute barely 500 feet from the ground.

When he landed, director, Christopher McQuarrie, and the small crew of his Mission co-stars who had assembled to watch the seminal cinematic sequence from the safety of video village, breathed a collective sigh of relief. Then Cruise picked himself up and did it all again another seven times, just to make sure the footage was perfect.

Talking about the stunt, Tom Cruise says, “Every time I went off the ramp, it was dangerous. It was risking my life. And we wanted to keep that to a minimum. We have a saying on Mission: Impossible movies: ‘Don’t be safe. Be competent". He says that of course knowing the extensive training regimens and rigorous safety protocols that surround every element of the production.

As is Cruise’s now standard practice, the motorbike jump – in which Ethan Hunt zooms off the edge, ditches the bike and executes a high-risk BASE jump in the six-second window he has before impact – had been long in the planning. After rehearsing for a year in the UK during pre-production, by the time the cameras rolled he’d completed over 500 skydives and 13,000 motocross jumps in readiness to prepare for the most dangerous stunt he has ever completed on screen.

The truth, though, is that the stunt had been in Cruise’s head for considerably longer than that. He says, “When I was a little kid, I used to make my own jumps, building ramps to jump my bicycle over garbage cans.”

When Cruise was eight, – a child he now acknowledges “was always looking for dangerous stuff to do” – he found some plywood in a local construction site and assembled his biggest makeshift jump yet. “I started down a hill on my bicycle, hit the ramp, split the wood in two and smashed into some garbage cans. There was blood everywhere,” he laughs. “I’ve had a lot of blood and broken bones and teeth from doing that over the years, but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

And, when it comes to the actual shoot, every sequence has also been rehearsed to – literally – molecular detail. The perfect example of Cruise’s constant quest for competency is his speedometer. Or, rather, his lack of one. Hr says “I needed to be at a certain speed when I jumped off the ramp [in the BASE jump stunt], but I couldn’t have a speedometer on the bike because the ramp was so narrow that if I looked down, I could come off it. So, I had to gauge the speed of the bike through the sound and vibration of the engine and by feeling the molecules in the air over my body. That was the level of competency that I had to get to,”

New Beauty World Record in Chennai organized by MUA Mrs. Sridevi Thiyagarajan, CEO of Sridevi’s contour imprinted their achievement under Lionize International Book of World Records for creating a bridal makeup look in just 25 minutes with 493 Makeup Artists to honor their profession for World Beautician’s Day, 26 June, 2023.

Mrs. Sridevi Thiyagarajan, CEO of Sridevi’s Contour and the Most sensational Makeup Artist in town created a world record under Lionize International Book of World Records with 493 Makeup Artists within given 25 minutes of time at Ameen Palace, Chennai in order to honor their profession on World Beautician’s day. 

The event looked so colorful with many makeup Artists from various parts of the world as they also have participants from different parts of the world connected online.

 This glorious event had a separate legendary team to cheer up the Makeup Artists participating in this World Record.

Special Appreciations to Mrs. Sridevi Thiyagarajan, CEO of Sridevi’s Contour and her team for organizing such a big event in such a short notice. It doesn’t look like it took just a month but so many months of planning. Very well Executed!

She says, “I don’t want to be minimal, I don’t want to be an ordinary MUA! I always wanted to do really big in order to honor my profession and fellow Makeup Artists. This was a dream event that I planned just a month ago and approached Lionize International Book of World Records. As I expected, they approved this event. Started her own studio and academy 6 years before in a very small space in her house, now this woman owns a big dazzling Studio with luxury Nail and Lash extension lounge and some Spa services including Facials, Pedicure and Manicure along with the academy in Porur, Chennai. 

The Growth is so huge. Her Instagram account gives Goosebumps as you can visualize the Characters of the Animated movies which she created on herself and teaches her students as she’s a Makeup Educator too!
