Masks By Flynn Remedios To Fund Underprivileged Covid Patients

Senior journalist and publicist Flynn Renedios who has penned the script of the film "The Parrikar I Knew" which will go on floor in August this year has launched a social initiative Masks By Flynn Renedios (MFR)  to sponsor and fund treatment for underprivileged Covid patients in India. We plan to sponsor Covid treatment for 500 underprivileged persons to start with says Flynn Remedios.

The decorative masks featuring different themes and cultures of India are available online and are priced starting from Rs 150 to Rs 500 per set of two pieces. 

The higher priced masks which are not just peuces of protective clothing but also fashion statements according to Remedios,  also feature cultural embellishments and motifs. Our talented actor from Mapusa,  Poonan Karekar Govekar has contributed to inputs for the cultural designs of Goa and Maharashtra, explains Remedios adding that several cultural and media personalities from across the country have added value to the designs.  These designer masks are right now available only or order and can be custom made or bespoke if required. 

On each mask sold we will contribute 50 percent of the cost or selling price of the mask to underprivileged persons afflicted with Covid who cannot afford treatment, says Poonam Karekar Govekar who is a design partner in the project.
