CHILDINE INDIA FOUNDATION celebrates Children’s Day

CHILDINE INDIA FOUNDATION celebrates Children’s Day in the most heart-warming manner
·         Tying surakshaa bandhan to Directors/ coordinators and allied system working for Children on the occasion of Children’s Day
·         Debate competition to be held in schools
·         Selfie point to be created with CHILDLINE frame inaugurating kid’s corner
·         Creation of Human banner through fork art culture in public places
·         Tree plantation initiative by school children


Children’s day is all about the rights and welfare of children and CHILDINE is implementing and working on the same for a better tomorrow. On the occasion of Children’s day, CHILDLINE has planned a ‘Childline Se Dosti Week’ wherein a plethora of activities are planned with a single aim of creating awareness for Child Safety. From 14th to 20th November, 2019 for children’s day celebrations, CHILDLINE has planned activities like tying suraksha bandhan to their allied system working on child welfare. Debate competitions are to be held across schools. Selfie point with CHILDLINE frame to be inaugurated as kids’ corner. School kids will also be encouraged to go green by undertaking a tree plantation drive.


Speaking on the activations, Dr. Anjaiah Pandiri, Executive Director, CHILDLINE INDIA FOUNDATION, CHILDLINE India Foundation says"Abiding to the quote of Nehruji, we believe, the children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the countryCHILDLINE believes in that and we look forward to making it a better environment for children and their future.  We have numerous activities planned over the week and look forward to reach maximum audience to promote and strive for the protection and welfare of the rights of children.’’


CHILDLINE INDIA foundation is a non-government organization in India that operates a telephone helpline called Childline, for children in distress. It was India's first 24-hour, toll free, phone outreach service for children. CHILDLINE 1098 services is currently covering 542 districts in all states and union territories and 116 railway stations across India covering 75% of the country and handle 8-10 million calls a year.. CIF not only responds to the emergency needs of children but also link them to services for their long-term care and rehabilitation.

CHILDLINE Se Dosti week will be celebrated throughout the country with an objective to create more and more dost (friends) for the children.
