Velammal hosts Interschool Chess Tournament 2.11.19

                                                         

Velammal Vidyalaya, karambakkam organized FIDE International Rating Chess Tournament Rapid & Blitz in their premises on 2.11.19 to commemorate their 73^rd Founder’s day. Dr,D.V.Sundar, FIDE Vice President and Mr.Stephen Balalasamy,TamilNadu Chess Association, Secretary presided over the function.The world chess prodigy India Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa R and the Woman Intl.Master Rakshitta graced the occasion. Around 5 GM’s, 25 IM’s and more than 1000 students across various schools registered and participated in the tournament.
