Velammal hosts Interschool Chess Tournament 2.11.19

                                                         
Velammal Vidyalaya, karambakkam organized FIDE International Rating Chess Tournament Rapid & Blitz in their premises on 2.11.19 to commemorate their 73rd Founder’s day. Dr,D.V.Sundar, FIDE Vice President and Mr.Stephen Balalasamy,TamilNadu Chess Association, Secretary presided over the function.The world chess prodigy India Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa R and the Woman Intl.Master Rakshitta graced the occasion. Around 5 GM’s, 25 IM’s and more than 1000 students across various schools registered and participated in the tournament.
