Velammal student honoured
Master S.Akash ,class 9 student of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mogappair West has received a cash award of Rs. 5 lakhs from the Government of Tamil Nadu for his exemplary performance in the events held by the School Games Federation of India in 2018-2019.
Akash had bagged the Silver medal in the 50 M and the 200 M backstroke categories. Each carrying an award of 1.5 lakhs each.
The extraordinary discipline in practice and a focused determination were the key factors for his winning traits .
The exuberant parents thanked the management for the training and support given by the school and the Physical Education Teachers.
The school Management, staff wish Akash all success in his future endeavours.
