Following the terrific response to its teaser, which quickly became a talking point among cinema enthusiasts, the makers of ‘Mandavetti’ have unveiled the film’s first single, ‘Raatchasiye’. Written, directed and produced by Saranraj Senthilkumar under the banner of Tuskers Den Pictures, the supernatural crime thriller stars Komalee Prasad in the lead. The song brings together the evocative vocals of National Award-winning singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, a sweeping musical score by Deepak Venugopal and lyrics by Tamilmani, creating a haunting yet melodious composition that delves into the mystique surrounding a mysterious woman.

‘Raatchasiye’ adds another intriguing layer to a film that has kept audiences curious right from its title announcement. The teaser had already offered glimpses into the eerie world of Mandavetti, with its mysterious mythology, unsettling atmosphere and the enigmatic presence of ‘Senji Saamy’. The first single now expands that world through music, exploring the mysticism and emotional depth at the heart of the story.

With 2026 witnessing a strong wave of content-driven films finding resonance with audiences, Mandavetti has steadily generated curiosity through its distinctive title and visual promotions. The film’s intriguing premise and the mythology surrounding ‘Senji’, a fierce local deity, have further heightened expectations among cinema enthusiasts and trade circles.

Featuring Komalee Prasad in the lead alongside Subatra Robert, Amritha, Thenappan, Gajaraj, Prem Kumar, Rithieshvar Rajan, Shiju Raghavan & others, Mandavetti has Prakash Manithan handling cinematography, Guna Palinisamy editing and Deepak Venugopal composing the music. Gowtham choreographs the stunts, while Sangeetha Sen is the costume designer. Tony J handles sound mixing, Balaganghadaran oversees DI grading and Vijayan is responsible for VFX. Mahendran Kandasamy is the production manager, Narmada handles makeup, and Suresh Chandra and Abdul Nassar are the PROs.
