Arun Vijay’s surprise meet with 20 Tamil Nadu boxers who picked medals at National levels 

Everyone is so aware about actor Arun Vijay’s insatiable passion for sports have been amazing. Of course, it’s not just hearsay, but a strong affirmation that he keeps consistently registering with his Mr. Fitness look and intense workouts. Being endowed with such herculean looks and fitness, he doesn’t restrict the joy of sportsmanship to flow within, but extends his token of appreciation towards 20 boxers from Tamil Nadu, who won medals (Men - 8 Gold, Women - 3 Gold and 9 others with silver) and Runner championship Tamilnadu coach Senthil Nathan at National Boxing Championship hosted by Mission Olympics Games Association of India.  Arun Vijay took his time personally meeting them to congratulate on their victory.

“This isn’t an exultation of victory limited to these 20 superheroes, but for our entire Tamil Nadu. For me, they are the real Avengers,” smilingly says Arun Vijay, who puts forward a strong justification saying, “Being a sportsman or athlete isn’t an easy deal, especially a boxer. It involves lots and lots of mental and physical preparations. You’ve to be on Zen mode and must be capable of abruptly executing your action, the very next second with a calculative mind.  Personally, I have gone through certain training for my upcoming film ‘Boxer’, where I spent hours and hours for this role. But to see these champions sweat their soul day and night relentlessly, even at times of  leanest support is really astonishing. I wanted to meet them personally to motive and encourage them, but to be honest; I got deeply inspired and motivated as they shared their experience and journey. The challenges they encounter and how they combat them inspired me vividly, which I want to keep inhaling all throughout my life. Moreover, with their acquaintance filling my spirits with more inspirations and positivity, I want to maintain a perpetual friendship with them.”

Actor Arun Vijay has assured that he will keep extending his support towards them in their entire futuristic professional venture. 
On the professional front, Arun Vijay has now lined up “Agni Siragugal”, “Boxer” and “Mafia” that are scheduled at different stages of production. With each film having boasting of unique story premises and role, the expectations have reached the best levels and lots more announcements about these projects and new ones are there to arrive soon.

He’s been a man of relentless workouts and fitness freak and his insatiable passion to push the bars remains inevitable. Moreover, as soon as the official word was out on “Boxer” and his role, his fans were animated with huge expectations pondering if they would get a glimpse of his preparation for the project. Especially with a mentor like Peter Hein and their embarkation together into the school of LEIN PHONG, one of the world’s most celebrated martial arts training hub located in Vietnam, the pulses among fans found themselves on high rhythmic tempos.

Filmmaker Vivek says, “It’s been a month long hectic training for Arun Vijay sir. Everyone knows that he is a perfectionist in maintaining an awe-inspiring fitness in real life. He has taken additional efforts for our film “Boxer”. In accordance to the suggestion of Peter Hein Master, he underwent training at Lein Phong in Vietnam. It wasn’t an easy deal as Arun Vijay sir had to train himself continuously for 8 hours a day and despite this fact, he remained cool and aplomb. I am really thankful to both of them for pampering this film as their own child. More than doing their job on professional front, they are emotionally bounded to this film, which I believe will definitely escalate the film to a greater magnitude. I thank local trainer Sundeep for his wonderful support throughout this process. Following a month long training session, Arun Vijay returned back to Chennai before couple of days and is currently holidaying with his family. As planned, the shooting will commence by this June and will proceed accordingly with its schedules.

The film revolves around a reigning boxer and his turbulent journey of combating the evil within. Ritika Singh would be seen playing the role of a sports journalist in this film and there is a myriad star-cast in prominent roles. D  Imman is composing music for this film  and the others in the technical team includes C.S. Balachandar (Art), Nadan (Editor), Peter Hein (Stunts), Hina (Stylist), Arun (Costumes). With Vivek scripting and directing, V Mathiyalagan produces the film for Etcetera Entertainment
