The much-awaited face-off is finally here, as COLORS Tamil, the youngest GEC in Tamil Nadu is all set to telecast the semi-finals of hit reality series Dance Vs Dance (DVD) on 16^th and 17^th February 2019.  As the battle for coveted title intensifies, the upcoming episode will witness a dance off between eight talented pairs of DVD. NakkuMukka, fame actor, Nakkhul and legendary choreographer Brinda Master will be joining the judge's panel. Actor Poorna will also be seen donning the special guest hat on this power packed episode.

Launched during November 2018, Dance Vs Dance is a first of its kind reality dance-off show where talented dancers from across the state were brought together to battle against each other in pairs for numerouno position. The show quickly gained popularity among the audience as its packed with entertainment and for the competitiveness amongst participants. With a plethora of star judges like Oviya, Simran, Priya Mani and more appearing on the grand stage, the show has paved way for many talented dancers to showcase their moves.  

Commenting on the show actor Nakul said, “This has been an entertainment packed ride so far. The flair and energy these couples bring to the stage is infectious. I have loved judging each and every minute of the season as the whole journey has been enthralling!”

Actress Poorna has been proving herself as a ‘Show-stopper’ with any role she essays. With such a long queue of movies back and forth, she has done an important role in Jayam Ravi-Raashi Khanna starrer ‘Adanga Maru’. Having performed as an advocate, she has something more memorable to share about the experience. 

“After working in Savarakathi and few more films, I have been personally looking forward to substantial roles. Rather than appearing in ‘Dancing around the bush’ and ‘Falling in Love’, I was quite firm about being part of a film at least for couple of scenes, but strongly appeal to everyone’s attention. Precisely, I could feel such an instance when director Karthik Thangavel approached me for Adanga Maru. More than playing a lawyer character, the instant attention-seeking part was the contemporary crisis involving women,” says actress Poorna, who feels more satisfied and happy for getting a meaty role. 

Actress Poorna renders her token of appreciations on Karthik Thangavel saying, “He is a perfect Gentleman and a disciplined professional. It was really nice to see what he narrated me had been exactly turned into visuals, which I witnessed during dubbing.” 

Sharing few words on Jayam Ravi, Poorna opines, “He is a man of high enthusiasms and energy. His sense of humour will keep you indulged in non-stop laughter, but the very next second the camera is ‘ON’, he gets transformed into power house.” 

Adanga Maru is directed by Karthik Thangavel and is produced by Sujataa Vijayakumar in association with Clapboard Productions. The film is an action packed thriller laced with entertainment quotients scheduled for worldwide release on December 21.

In this contemporary world, things have become too complicated that everyone has reached the peak of depression. In the name of shaping of a child’s future in a prosperous way, they are on the relentless run of earning money by becoming workaholics. But they are unaware of their terrible mistake of not giving love, care and affection that are children’s desperate need of moment. BLUEWHALE directed by T Ranganathan is a film that gets beyond the game of showcasing how a present-day individual’s life are confined to hardest situations of economics, politics and many other crisis.

“BLUE WHALE” is a social thriller that revolves around a young boy missing in his apartment after he starts playing this hazardous life-threatening game in the absence of his parents. A lady Assistant Commissioner of Police takes up the mission of finding his whereabouts that is narrated with edge-seated moments, which is set in shorter time frame of few hours. 

In the recent times, actress Poorna has been surprising us often with phenomenally challenging roles. She will be seen as Assistant Commissioner of Police, who investigates the case of missing young kid (Kabish Khanna). Birla Bose and Divya from Kerala are essaying the roles of the kid’s parents. 

The technical crew comprises of PC Shivan (Music), KK (Cinematography), Shanmugham Velusamy of ‘Joker’ fame (Editor) and NK Rahul (Art). 

The shooting of this BLUE WHALE is too close on the heels of completion, where the post-production works are happening simultaneously with plans going on full swing to release in Jan-Feb 2019. 

The film is produced by D.Mathu P. Arumai Chandran with T Ranganathan helming this project.
