THE JOURNEY TOWARDS LEADERSHIP BEGINS AT VELAMMAL
Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organized it's much awaited Virtual Investiture Ceremony 2020-21 at a digital platform on 14th July, 2020 with zest, zeal and enthusiasm.
The newly elected school council took charge to dawn the mantle of responsibility and carry it out with utmost dedication.
The Virtual Investiture Ceremony was presided by the honourable Chief Guest, Dr. Vaishnavi Shankar, Managing Partner and Faculty of Shankar IAS Academy. This auspicious event commenced with a prayer song followed by an invocation dance.
COVID-19 has sent the globe to crisis, shifting physical classroom into the digital world.
In this scenario, the leaders were enormously elected through online polling.
The ceremony proceeded with the student council members taking an oath to work earnestly to uphold the honour and glory.
Our respected Senior Principal, Smt. Jayanthi Rajagopalan honoured the leaders with badges and sashes and congratulated them.
This was a proud moment for all the parents who witnessed their children embarking on a new journey as a leader. The ceremony took a turn entertaining the viewers with puppet show, contemporary dance and promo on the glimpses of fine arts by the Picassos of Velammal.
The event was taken ahead by our Chief Guest with an inspiring speech that emphasized on the motto learning through involvement and advised the newly elected leaders to carry forth their commitment and integrity, as they are the torch bearers of all values the school stands for.
An effervescent day that was filled with a lot of exuberance, with leaders' shoulders held high and head standing tall, the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
