Starring Gautham Ram Karthik & Aparshakti Khurana in His Tamil Cinema Debut
Verus Productions is delighted to announce that the first shooting schedule of its much-anticipated Sci-Fi Crime Thriller ROOT – Running Out of Time has been successfully completed in Chennai.
Directed by Sooriyaprathap S, the film features Gautham Ram Karthik in a gripping lead role and marks the Tamil cinema debut of Bollywood star Aparshakti Khurana, celebrated for his standout performances in Hindi blockbusters. The schedule featured key sequences between the leads, setting the tone for this high-concept crime thriller infused with emotional depth and a ticking-clock sci-fi backdrop.
Actress Bhavya Trikha plays the female lead, while veteran actor Y Gee Mahendran is also part of the pivotal cast.
Produced by Dhanishtan Fernando, Rajarajan Gananasambandam, Sanjai Shankar, and Shaik Mujeeb under the Verus Productions banner, the film promises a blend of edge-of-the-seat thrills and emotionally charged storytelling.
