 TRISHA KRISHNAN, RADHIKA SARATHKUMAR AND APARNA BALAMURALI STARRER MARKS PANORAMA STUDIOS’ FIRST TAMIL PRODUCTION, IN ASSOCIATION WITH LOCOMOTIVE GLOBAL; RAJA KRISHNA MENON’S PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR BEGINS SHOOT IN LONDON

Panorama Studios, in association with Locomotive Global, is set to make its foray into Tamil cinema with its first Tamil production, an intriguing psychological horror film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Raja Krishna Menon. Starring Trisha Krishnan, Radhika Sarathkumar and Aparna Balamurali, the yet-to-be-titled film promises to bring together a dark psychological drama and horror in a compelling narrative. The film has gone on floors, with principal photography now underway. 

The film brings together three accomplished actors with an impressive body of work across Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi cinema. Trisha Krishnan, one of Tamil cinema’s most celebrated leading actors, is known for acclaimed performances in 96, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Ghilli and Ponniyin Selvan. Veteran actor Radhika Sarathkumar, fondly known as “Kaliarasi”, has delivered memorable performances across decades in films including Kizhakku Cheemaiyile, Pasumpon, Thanga Magan and Theri and Aparna Balamurali, who has emerged as one of the most acclaimed performers of her generation, known for her performances in SooraraiPottru, Maheshinte Prathikaaram and 8 Thottakkal. 

Presented by Panorama Studios, in association with Locomotive Global, the film is a Fusion Flicks & Locomotive Global Production. It is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sunder Aaron, Vikas Sharma, and Amit Dalmia. Rajesh Menon and George Cameron serve as Co-Producers, while Abhinav Mehrotra is the Creative Producer. 

The Tamil venture marks another significant step in Panorama Studios’ expanding South strategy, following the studio’s growing presence in Malayalam cinema through production, distribution and strategic collaborations. Its Malayalam production slate includes Anomie, Unmadham and Tiki Taka, while Production No. 4 and Munpe, starring Tovino Thomas, are currently on the floors. The studio has also entered strategic collaborations with leading names from the Malayalam film industry, including Fahadh Faasil. With its first Tamil production, Panorama Studios now expands its South India footprint into one of the country’s most vibrant and influential film industries.

Director Raja Krishna Menon, known for films such as Airlift, Chef and Pippa, has consistently explored stories driven by strong human emotions and compelling worlds. With this film, Menon ventures into the psychological horror genre for the first time, bringing his distinctive storytelling sensibility to a dark and atmospheric narrative.

This is a story that is a first for me in many ways — my first film in Tamil, my first psychological horror, and my first story centred entirely around women.
