Certainly, there are few roles in a film that stands out to be strongly complimenting the lead roles. Such roles are often witnessed in ‘Thriller’ genres, where they spark off the roller-coaster ride. On the dot, Adhik Ravichandran has absolutely bagged a similar role in Arulnithi-Shraddha Srinath starrer ‘K 13’, directed by Barath Neelakantan.
Sharing this news, director Barath Neelakantan says, “Soon after completing the script, I was looking up for an offbeat actor to play this particular role. This is a character that actually instigates the entire thriller ride in this film. Personally, I felt Adhik Ravichandran would befittingly look perfect for this role and tried approaching him through my associate directors, who were my mutual friends. His portions also has actress Gayathrie and both of them have done a remarkable job. Even now, when I think about the way we shot this particular scene, it sends downpour of excitements. This was the first shot to be filmed and to have an experienced director like Adhik Ravichandran, Gayathrie and Shraddha Srinath together was really a great challenge to accomplish.”
Appreciating on what he really likes about Adhik Ravichandran, Barath says, “It is very well known that Adhik is a fun loving person, but this role in contrast was something to do with serious shades. However, he delivered a perfect shot and we strongly believe that his portions in the film will be greatly noticed and appreciated by the audience.”
K 13 is produced by SP Shankar and Shantha Priya for SP Cinemas. The film has musical score by Sam CS and cinematography handled by Aravinnd Singh with Ruben as editor.Sudesh has choreographed stunts and Kamalanathan is the art director.
