Kanni Theevu Ullasa Ulagam 2.0, spread across four segments, with Cadbury 5 star as special partner, the upcoming episode of Kanni Theevu is all about rib-tickling conversations between the special guest and King Jalsa. The upcoming episode of Kanni Theevu promises to entertain you with a wacky act as Kattappa and a humorous performance as Power Star by comedian Amudhavanan.

Kanni Theevu Ullasa Ullagam 2.0 is Colors Tamil's most recent comedy show, following the story of King Jalsanandha and the drama that unfolds on his castaway island, Kanni Theevu. Along with Robo Shankar, the show will feature Jangiri Madhumita as Baby Matha, a popular television artist, and actor, and renowned actor Shakeela as Raja Matha. Acclaimed for her sterling performances in films like Podaa Podi, Vikram Vedha, and Danny, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar became the first celebrity to appear on Colors Tamil’s Kanni Theevu Ullasa Ullagam 2.0, a spoof comedy show that premiered on Sunday, August 2, 2021, at 7:00 pm.

 

Taking part in all the fun rounds of tasks led by King Jalsa (Robo Shankar) and the inmates of the island, Actor Varalaxmi was thrilled to be a guest in the launch episode and shared her views, saying “It was  such an exciting experience altogether. King Jalsa, Rajamatha and the other residents of the island were very endearing. The show has an out of the box concept and I am genuinely looking forward to seeing what the show has to offer.”

The show is set in a fictional island with fictional characters, like King Jalsa and Rajamatha, essayed by Robo Shankar and Shakeela respectively. Colors Tamil, the youngest GEC of Tamil Nadu, admired for its alluring line-up of women-centric narratives, launches yet another enthralling show around a young girl - Bommi B.A, B.L. The brand new fiction show promises to keep audience engaged with its compelling storyline that is set to bring out the deeply rooted prejudice and bias against women in our country. Starting from 3^rdof May 2021, Bommi B.A, B.L will be aired at 6:30 PM between Monday to Saturday on Colors Tamil.

 

 

 

The story revolves around the social injustice that women suffer in a conservative male-dominant society. The struggle starts when an eight-year-old Bommi (played by Aura Bhatnagar) is being married off to a 60-year-old man. She then encounters grave injustice and social discrimination which cripples her wings as a slave to her 60-year-old husband. Life takes a dramatic turn when she meets Anirudh (played by Pravisht Mishra), a London-returned barrister, who is practical and liberal in nature. Anirudh becomes Bommi’s husband and helps her to get out of this gloomy tradition of social discrimination. This leads to a journey where Bommi goes on to becomes a Barrister and she challenges the system with her tough and thought-provoking arguments. Will Bommi and Anirudh be able to finally rebel against the age-old traditions and norms, thereby paying a way for a social revolution? Watch out for what happens next.
