The Souled Store associates with CSK this IPL season!

 

It’s that time of the year when India’s two biggest passions –cricket and entertainment – come together! One of the highly anticipated moments for fans ahead of the spectacle that is the Indian Premier League is that of teams unveiling their official jersey for the season.

 

Chennai Super Kings, who have partnered The Souled Store, were one of the early teams to unveil their jersey. But they decided to do things a little differently – every replica jersey this year will be made from recycled plastic, as part of a larger social initiative by both brands.








 

Each jersey is created using 15 plastic bottles (that would have otherwise ended up in the ocean) and uses 90% less water than regular jerseys. The jersey comes in a customized box made from recycled material, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the legend himself – MS Dhoni.

 

The idea to launch products made from recycled materials had been under development for the last few months at The Souled Store. “As a brand, we’ve always been conscious of our larger social responsibility, and how we need to continuously implement better, more sustainable practices. We’d specifically like to thank the entire Chennai Super Kings team for being as excited and passionate as we were to make this happen,” said Harsh Lal, co-founder and director of The Souled Store.

 

The Super Kings are one of the most consistent teams in IPL history, having qualified for the Playoffs in 10 of their 11 seasons, reached the final eight times and lifted the trophy thrice.

 

“This is the first time in 14 IPL seasons that we’ve redesigned our jersey, and we felt it would be nice to have every replica jersey made from recycled plastic. It’s important for all of us to do our bit to help reduce plastic waste and work towards a greener planet,” Super Kings CEO KS Viswanathan said.

Colors Tamil, the state’s youngest and fastest growing GEC is all set to extend its entertainment quotient with the launch of a brand new special show – Colors Sunday Kondattam (CSK). Offering the perfect solution for viewers to unwind with their family, the show will showcase teams of Colors fiction stars battling it out against each other over a series of exciting rounds every Sunday at 7:00 PM. Starting from 28th February 2021, the special show promises to render a refreshing  break with entertaining content.





Hosted by a vibrant duo, VJ Anjana Rangan and Kamal Dhandapani, CSK will witness friendly face-off battle between fiction show teams of Colors Tamil. The show will also provide a platform for fiction stars to showcase their latent talent through a series of rounds. With no compromise on entertainment, CSK will bring to foray dazzling performances of dance, music along with fun-filled activities. Kick-starting the show, the first episode will have the entire team of fiction shows Idhayathai Thirudathey and Uyire battling against each other on 28th February 2021.

Ever since people began telling stories, be it in literature, art, movie or digital there has not been too many stories that discusses the general problems faced by a male in the society. AAN PAAVAM is one of those shows, that discusses the problems of male in a funny manner. Played by Dr. Sethuraman of kanna laddu thinga aasaya fame, this series will be written and directed by Karthik Venugopalan who has already made his mark through the movie, NENJAMUNDU NERMAIYUNDU ODU RAJA. This series consists of 12 episodes that gets released in blacksheep on Feb 2.

Team Blacksheep has marked its place in the cine industry through its socio-satirical movie NENJAMUNDU NERMAIYUNDU ODU RAJA. Now Blacksheep is launching its second movie scripted by Team Blacksheep and directed by Put Chutney fame RAJ MOHAN, the well renowned tamil orator. This movie entirely revolves around the life of newage school students and their problems.The movie is been produced in first copy basis by Rockfort Entertainments Muruganandham who had already marked his success as a distributor as well.The movie is all set for summer 2020 release.
