Yuvan Shankar Raja’s first of its kind vocalist attempt for Anbulla Ghilli

Filmmaker Srinath’s ‘Anbulla Ghilli’ has constantly managed to keep spotlights on it from the moment it was launched. The film owns a unique trait of being quite different from routine dog based films. Significantly, the story will be narrated through the eyes of a Labrador Dog, who will appear in the name of ‘Ghilli’.  While the entire team is pretty happy about the way, the film has shaped, they are now indulged in more celebrations as the young maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja has crooned a song, composed by Arrol Corelli.

Director Srinath says, “This is purely magical. Of course, Yuvan sir’s music and vocal have remained synonymous to ‘Magic’. Soon after composing, I and Arrol felt that his voice would bring good impact to the number. We just sent him the tune and to our surprise, he instantly gave a nod inviting us to his studio to record it. I would say that this will be a first of its kind spell from Yuvan sir as he croons the song for a Male Labrador Song. It’s a romantic song pictured with fun elements on male and female dog with the former getting the voice of YSR. We are much thrilled, excited and working fast to release the song. I would like to thank Love Guru for delivering simple, beautiful and catchy lyrics, which I believe will be immediately grasped by listened as soon as they hear the song.”

‘Anbulla Ghilli’ has Labrador Dog appearing in the major role and the star-cast comprises of Mythreya, Dushara, VJ Aashiq, Chandini, Mime Gopi, Nanjil Vijayan, Mouna Ragam fame Krithika and others, who will be appearing in important characters. Currently, the team is working on the VFX portions and the official announcement on the film’s release will be made shortly.

It all comes as an unanticipated surprise from the team of YSR Films’ “Production No.2” starring Vijay Sethupathi-Gayathrie in lead roles, directed by Seenu Ramasamy has been wrapped up. The team looks so much invigorated about this greatest accomplishment and producer Irfan Malik of YSR Films is no exception. 

“While it may look surprising for many out there hearing this news, I myself is no exception when the team planned the schedules. With a team of wizardry actors and technicians, I was like how they are going to complete the film on time as promised. However, as the shooting progressed, I could feel the high level energy and ultimate dedication of each and every member out there, who kept pushing the bars ahead. Finally, we have wrapped up the shoot and the dubbing works will be commencing shortly,” says producer Irfan Malik of YSR Studios. 

Furthermore, he adds up more praises on the team saying, “Vijay Sethupathi sir and Seenu Ramasamy sir have an impeccable equation for they know each others’ expectations, which I believe is one of the strongest reasons behind the completion of shoot. It’s not just Vijay Sethupathi sir, but every artiste and technician is so much aware of what Seenu sir looks out for. Now my earnest desire as a fan is that I can’t wait to hear the overpoweringly amazing BGM and songs of Padma Vibhushan Isaignani Ilayaraja sir and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematographer Sukumar sir has been a boon to every filmmaker and he never misses to add the Midas Touch for Seenu Ramasamy sir movies and I firmly believe this film is going to be no exception.”

Tentatively titled as “Production No.2”, the film has cinematography handled by Sukumar and editing by National award winning Sreekar Prasad. With Vijay Sethupathi-Seenu Ramasamy duo already delivering films based on classic realistic depictions, the expectations have already sky-rocketed with this movie, produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Irfan Malik of YSR Studios.

Meanwhile, YSR Films has become the center of attraction for its planning, execution and completion of projects on time with perfect flow of releases. It was so much evident with its maiden venture ‘Pyaar Prema Kadhal’ followed by this ‘Production No.2’. Significantly, the 3rd production titled ‘Alice’ featuring Raiza Wilson in lead role will commence shortly.

Rowdy baby hits 100 million views in a very short span!

Yuvan Shankar Raja has always distinctly proved to be the  icon of 'Viral Hits' respectively across the years. It is worth mentioning that Maari 2 happens to be one among the rarest albums of Yuvan Shankar Raja that had just 3 songs and all of them turned to be viral hits. 

This year looks much more promising for Yuvan Shankar Raja as music composer and producer for his line-ups have already been marked by many as ‘Must Watch Movies and Listen Albums of 2019’ list. Yuvan Shankar Raja who had mastered rendering tunes and scoring back ground music set his eyes on production , and thus the success story of YSR films was spun. His maiden production "Pyar Prema Kadhal"created huge furious noise in the box office that the whole industry looked upon Yuvan to sing many more successful notes in production. 

His second production Is an  untitled film with Vijay Sethupathy as a Hero and Director Seenu Ramasamy as the director . The shooting of this film is happening in Allepy in Kerala.

Now YSR films ably headed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Irfan Malik announce their third production with pride. Titled "Alice" this crime thriller has got Raiza Wilson playing the lead. It is to be noted that Raiza was the heroine of "Pyar Prema Kadhal" too. 

"Alice" is a wonderful script that will go a long way in re-scripting the pattern of story telling in Tamil films. Debutant Director Mani Chandru , we are sure will many accolades to our company. The moment we heard the script we instantly decided to produce this film. Since it was a heroine oriented film, we took time to decide on the heroine. Raiza actually walked into this film with the sheer weight age of her performance and commitment. The search for the other cast is on.True to the tradition of our company's policy of exploring and nourishing new talents we are introducing a bunch of young technicians in, Ezhil Arasu as the director of photography, ARR Mohan is the art director, Arjunan Naga AK is the editor. Yuvan Shankar Raja score the music. The shoot will commence shortly and we can assure the audience a spell binding thriller at the earliest.

The masters of elite craftsmanship in K-Town are back now and it’s time for their ardent buffs to get more excited now. Our Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and the most celebrated filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy have started shooting for their new film in Theni, this morning (December 14, 2018). The tentatively titled ‘Production No.2’ is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Irfan  Malik for YSR Films. One of the most celebrative facts is that it’s the first ever musical collaboration of Maestro Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja for a film. 

“I am now in a state of being more than happy, I am super-excited as I can already foresee the final product. I feel blessed with such a classic team like Padma Vibushan Isaignani Ilayaraja sir and Yuvan Shankar Raja composing music together for the first time. Moreover, with a celebrated duo like Seenu Ramasamy-Vijay Sethupathi collaborating is something huge. In particular, the kind of movies (Dharmadurai and Thenmerku Paruva Kaatru) they have delivered is a major contribution to Tamil cinema, which will be celebrated as precious pearls.” says producer Irfan Malik. He continues to add, “There is yet another co-incidental fact as YSR Films’ maiden production ‘Pyaar Prema Kadhal’ started rolling on this same day last year.” 

The untitled film produced Yuvan Shankar Raja and Irfan Malik for YSR Films will have Gayathrie in female lead role.  

Cinematographer Sukumar is teaming up with Seenu Ramasamy-Vijay Sethupathi-Yuvan Shankar Raja trio after ‘Dharmadurai’.
