Master G Ashwin, Class 8 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus brought  laurels to the school  by clinching Gold medal in the Dumbell Boxing Championship 2020-2021 held at FSA Sports Academy, Nungambakkam between 16th April, 2021 and 18th April, 2021

He claimed title  in the 64-67 Kg Sub-junior category by knocking out his opponent from Kancheepuram.

This championship was presented by Dumbell and organised by FSA Sports Academy where around 150 boxers participated.

The School Management appreciates his remarkable achievement.

At the International Olympiad of Mathematics (iOM), Master. SRIVISHNU TEJA DESARAJU(X) has TOPPED THE SOUTH ZONE of INDIA among 19000 wizards of Mathematics. 

Master SHRAVAN.J(X)  , Master LALITH AKASH.M(X), Master. RUDRA.K(VIII), Miss. MONICA .S(X) and SRIDHAR.S(IX) are ranked  3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th at the STATE LEVEL  respectively. 

At the International Olympiad of Science ( iOS), Master. SHRAVAN.J(X), . Miss. MONICA.S(X), Master. AARAV A GANDHI (VII)  and Miss. INDUJAA RAJKUMAR(X) have brought laurels to our school ranking 2nd,3rd,6th and 6th at the STATE LEVEL respectively and all have acclaimed appreciable positions in zonal and international level.

The Olympiad exams are competitive exams conducted by various organizations across India and abroad. The school management accolades the gleaming stars and blesses them to soar higher.

Velammal Main School, Mogappair East Campus, produced 100% pass result in the SSLC Board Examinations 2019-20. The results were declared on 10th August. 1183 students have passed  board  exam this year with flying colours.

Master L. Naeem, Master M. Lokesh Kannan, Miss V. Swaroopa and Miss P. Divya scored 497 marks out of 500.
Three students scored 495.

VELAMMAL STUDENTS TO REPRESENT AT THE

NATIONAL SCHOOL HEALTH SUMMIT 2020

Young Scientists of Velammal Vidyalaya,Mangadu Campus, have been selected to participate in the final round competition at the National School Health Summit 2020. Initially, 700 projects were screened during the preliminary selection through online on 27^th February, 2020 conducted by sharp NGO.

Three teams of young budding scientists Master Hemanth and Master Kavin  Raswanth ( Grade VI), Miss Sadhana and Miss Shamini (Grade IX)and Miss Yuganthara and Miss Kritagya (Grade IX) have been selected for their innovative and advanced projects to the final round to be held in the month of April 2020 at New Delhi.

The National Health Summit provides a platform for the students to collaborate, interact and enhance their research mindset.
