
As a part of encouraging international research, the office of international relations, NIT Trichy invited Dr Prachi Kaul, Director of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, New Delhi had addressed an
informative session on the opportunities available at the institute. In the hour-long talk, Dr Kaul extrapolated on the myriad of facilities that students pursuing their undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies can avail through the Indo-Canadian bi-national link. Faculty and Student Mobility programme funded by the Government of India is a new addition to this list. Opportunities to pursue collaborative research with partnered Canadian universities and other options for Faculties were also elucidated in the session.
Followed by a Question and Answer discussion, Dr Kaul cleared multiple doubts on the subject of the fellowships provided by the institute. S.Raman Sankaranarayanan, Dean (Institute Development (ID) & Alumni
