Actor Rushad Rana credits his family for his sanity after separation!

Actor Rushad Rana shares the story behind his separation. Rushad has been known to be a very guarded actor however with the support of his family he is back to work much stronger. 

He adds, “During this tough phase, my parents inspired me to get back on my feet and focus on my work. Now, I feel that work is my happiness and I need someone who understands my profession and respects it. My in-laws probably did not like the profession, and therefore wanted me to change my career. They were good people, but I could not leave my career because that’s where my happiness lay.”  

Talking about his divorce he says, “It was a love-cum-arranged marriage. But, from the beginning, my ex-wife’s family was not able to accept my career. They felt that it was not a secure profession, and I should pursue a corporate job. I received many acting offers during that time, but I was always unhappy shooting, because I was influenced into thinking that the profession was not right for me. Suddenly, I changed from being this happy-go-lucky guy into a man, who was not happy with his life. I tried to make my marriage work, but eventually, it didn’t work out.”

He shares, “During this tough phase, my parents inspired me to get back on my feet and focus on my work. However back to work much stronger, Rushad is currently seen as Anirudh on the show, 'Anupamaa'. “I am glad that I am getting to do different roles on TV now. I was ambitious about doing films at one point in my career, but I feel TV is a great platform and has great opportunities. So even if I start getting film offers, I will never stop doing television now. I would like to strike a good balance between films and television" he excerpts.

Jagadeesh, Well known theatre artist in chennai theatre circle , had his debut in Dinesh selvaraj's (former associate of maniratnam) Naalu peruku nalladhuna edhuvum thappila as one of the Lead cast, went on to act in National award winner janaki viswananthan's "Thirai kadal" awaiting fo release, also acted & penned lines for Kadhal Neeyae, A music album released by Anirudh and worked as assistant director with Rajiv menon.

Beinga an Aeornautical Engineer and A Theatre Aritst he combined both skill sets and started an Educational Startup vaayusastra, which teaches Aeronautics and Aerospace for children using theatre as educational tool,
and it is Inucuabted under IIT Madras Incubation cell. Vaayusastra provides part time job opportunities for full time theatre artiste. 

 During this Lockdown period, IIT Mentor Mr.Ravichandran suggested to start conducting online sessions, with his advice Jagdish started the online course which received overwhelming response with more than 300+ children joined within a ten day span.The Vaayusastra team now continuing this for next one month. lets wish them for this innovative knowledge sharing initiative.

The overnight success of Pattas single ‘Jigidi Killadi’ 

Dhanush starrer ‘Pattas’ has been synonymously creating a vivid phase of celebrations with its colorful first look posters followed by the single tracks. Following the tremendous response to ‘Chill Bro’ and ‘Mor attu Thamizhan Da’, the third single ‘Jigidi Killaadi’ crooned by Anirudh that was unveiled last evening has become an overnight chartbuster. Well, this swifts music directors Vivek-Mervin duo straight to the seventh heaven. Especially, they feel abundantly gleeful for their collaboration with close buddy Anirudh has became yet another feather to their hats.

Vivek says, “Anirudh is more than a friend to us and we have always shared a brotherly bonding. We have always wanted him to croon a song for our albums and Jigidi Killaadi is really special to us. Of course, the erstwhile collaborations of DnA (Dhanush ‘n’ Anirudh) combo has always witnessed rocking results and the instant overnight positive response to this song is leaving us marveled.”

Speaking about their experience of working in Pattas, Vivek adds, “Both of us have been involved with Dhanush sir’s Pattas for nearly 8-9 months and it’s been a journey of non-stop excitements. From the process of composing tunes and finding a mammoth reception has been landing us on overjoyed state. In fact, it has been a phase of mixed emotions for it wasn’t just about elations, but baggage of responsibilities too. One thing that myself and Mervin were clear about was to show uniqueness in genre with every track. We didn’t want them resemble each other even at the minutest level as ‘Pattas’ is the ever biggest project in our career. Now we are extremely happy with the reception towards all the three songs and assure that rest of the songs will be unique and refreshing as well.”

Bankrolled by T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films and directed by R.S. Durai Senthilkumar, Dhanush will be seen playing dual roles in ‘Pattas’. Mehreen Pirzada and Sneha will be essaying the female lead roles and Naveen Chandra plays the antagonist. With the film scheduled for worldwide release on January 16, 2020, the makers are planning to release rest of the songs and trailer shortly.

Director Leena Yadhav’s Rajma Chawal is all set to release her film, ‘Rajma Chawal’ on Netflix today which also marks debut of a talented actor Anirudh Tanwar.

The pilot – turned – actor who plays the role of a musician shares that he does not relate much to his reel character, Kabir. He states, “The film is based on a father-son relationship. In the real life, my father and I are best friends while my character in the film is not. Hence, it was really difficult to bring the emotions out. But all thanks to Rishi (Kapoor) sir, who made me feel so comfortable that I could improvise and do my job better.’’

Anirudh and his off screen character has another dissimilarity that is their compulsion towards social media. He adds, “Kabir and Anirudh are completely different from each other. While my character loves being on social media. I am not a fan of it. It is only now that my movie is releasing, that I have opened a social media account to know the audiences’ real-time reactions and to connect with them. Personally, I am still trying to get a hang of it.’’

The movie revolves around a father-son relationship where the father (Rishi Kapoor) is trying to reconnect with his estranged son (Anirudh) through social media.

The brothers have been foraying into cross-genre exercises, experimenting with performances in unusual settings and finding ways to reach out to newer audiences.

Anirudh to enthrall with a new dimensional folk number

ANIRUDH TO ENTHRALL WITH A NEW-DIMENSIONAL FOLK NUMBER FOR KANAA

A pure commonality exists among all the music directors who work with Anirudh and it looks inevitably convincing as well. In fact, this has been a pre-existing scenario even before this young musical sparkler debuted in film industry. 

This time, its music director Dhibu Ninan Thomas sharing those same words as he shares his experience while recently recording a folk song with Anirudh for the film ‘Kanaa’. 

“We recorded the song at midnight at Anirudh’s studio that had an informal set up. It was so much easy to work with him. All throughout the session, we could feel the positive and cool vibes prevalent there, which made the song come out well,” says Dhibu Ninan Thomas, who has composed a new dimensional folk number for Aishwarya Rajesh starrer ‘Kanaa’, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. “We have tried something on a new panache with the folk genre. Usually, the instruments like Piano and strings would have more emphasis in melodic romantic numbers, but we have utilized it for a folk number that comes blended with our traditional assets of Thavil and Nathaswaram,” opines Dhibu. 

Furthermore, he adds citing that although Anirudh has crooned many folk numbers, this one will be gratuitously new from his kitty. The versatile lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj has penned this beauteous folk song, which will be filmed Aishwarya Rajesh and Darshan. The latter plays Aishwarya’s love interest and this song is about he tries to woo his beloved belle. 

Touted to be a film based on women cricket, Kanaa marks the debut of Sivakarthikeyan as a producer with his newly launched production studio –Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The film featuring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj in lead roles has geared up for its audio launch to be held in grandeur on August 23. While Sivakarthikeyan had recently announced of having three most adorable pillars of his career – Filmmaker Pandiraj, Anirudh and D Imman to launch the film’s audio, Smriti Mandhana - Indian Women's Cricket Team Captain will be the guest of honour for this occasion and she will be launching the audio.
