ஆனையடி பள்ளியில் படித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் கல்வி வறுமையால் தடைபட்டு நாடகக் கம்பெனியில் சேரும் நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. அப்போது அந்த நாடக கம்பெனி 

முதலாளி, சிறுவன் தங்க விக்ரகம் போல் இருக்கிறான் எனக் கூறினாராம். எனவே இந்த படத்திற்கு அது போன்ற ஒரு சிறுவனுக்கான தேர்வு நடைபெற்றது. இறுதியில் அத்வைத் என்ற சிறுவன் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டு எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் பால்யகால வேடத்தில் நடிக்கிறான்.

எம்.ஜி.ஆரைப் போன்றே முகத்தோற்றம் கொண்ட பிரபல விளம்பரப்பட நாயகன் சதீஷ்குமார் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார். எம்.ஆர்.ராதாவாக பாலாசிங், டைரக்டர் பந்துளுவாகY.G.மகேந்திரன், எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் அண்ணன் சக்கரபாணியாக மலையாள நடிகர் ரகு, பாய்ஸ் நாடக கம்பெனி உரிமையாளராக தீனதயாளன், உயிர் தொண்டனாக வையாபுரி ஆகியோர் நடிக்கிறனர்.

மறைந்த முன்னால் முதல்வர்கள், கருணாநிதி, ஜெயலலிதா ஆகியோர் பாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்க பொருத்தமான நடிகர்,  நடிகையர் தேர்வு நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

விரைவில் துவங்க இருக்கும் அடுத்தக்கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பில் எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் மனைவி ஜானகி அம்மாவாக நடிகை ரித்விகா நடிக்க இருக்கிறார்.

எனக்கு சினிமா மோகம் அதிகம்...24 மணி நேரத்தில் தூங்கும் நேரத்தைத் தவிர மற்ற நேரங்கள் எல்லாமே சினிமா தான்...

பெரிய இயக்குனர்கள் படங்களில் நடித்தும் எனக்கென்று ஒரு பிரேக் வரவில்லை என்கிற ஏக்கம் எனக்கு உண்டு. அதற்காக நான் சோர்ந்து போய் விட வில்லை.

சொந்தமாக தொழில் செய்து அதில் முன்னேறி இருக்கிறேன். பா.விஜய்யும் நானும் நண்பர்கள். ஒரு நாள் ஒரு கதையை சொல்லி என்னை நடிக்க கேட்டார்..கதையை கேட்டு அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தேன். இவ்வளவு கொடூர வில்லனா என்று 

தயங்கினேன்..ஏன் விக்னேஷ் தயக்கம். இந்த கதையில் சித்தார்த் ஹீரோவாகவும் நான் வில்லனாகவும் நடிக்க இருந்த படம் இது.மிஸ்ஸாகி விட்டது  இப்ப நான் ஹீரோ நீங்க வில்லன், இந்த படத்து மூலமா மக்களுக்கு ஒரு விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படனும்னு  நினைத்து தான் இந்த படத்தை எடுக்கிறோம் நீங்க நடிங்க கெட்டவனா நடிச்சாலும் நல்ல பேர் கிடைக்கும்னு சொன்னார்.  நடிச்சேன் படத்தோட டப்பிங் முடிச்சிட்டு யோசிச்சேன் இவ்வளவு கொடூரமான வில்லனாகவா நடிச்சோம் என்று.

படத்தில் செய்த தவறுக்கு பிராயசித்தம் செய்கிற மாதிரி காட்சியை எடுத்த இயக்குனர் அதை கட் செய்தது எனக்கு வருத்தம் தான்.

இதன் மூலம் ஒவ்வொரு பெற்றோருக்கும் நான் வைக்கும் வேண்டுகோள்...தயவு செய்து நண்பர்கள் சொந்தக்காரர்கள் யாராக இருந்தாலும் அளவோடு பழக விடுங்கள்...என்பது தான்.

சேது படத்தில் நீங்கள் நடிப்பதாக இருந்து அது மிஸ்ஸான காரணம் என்ன விக்னேஷ்?  என்று கேள்வி கேட்டோம்...

அதை நினைத்து தினமும் வருத்தப் படுவேன்...பாலாவும் நானும் ரூம் மேட்ஸ்.

பல பிரச்சனைகளை சந்தித்ததால் நான் நடிக்க முடியாமல் போச்சி....ஆனாலும் என் நண்பன் இன்னிக்கி ஜெயிச்சி தலை நிமிர்ந்து இருக்கிறது எனக்கு பெருமையா இருக்கு.

இதை விட கொடூரமான வில்லனா பாலா கூப்பிட்டு நடிக்க சொன்னா...?

Web series Tandoori Bhabhi will hit the floor soon

Web series Tandoori Bhabhi aka Mrs Savita Bhabhi aka Mrs Savita Sharma Will Hit the Floor in Sept

For those of you who are wondering whatever happened to the Shilpa Shinde-Angoori Bhabhi spoof web series, there is some good news. An entertainment website released images and sketches of the new look (see here) of  Savita Bhabhi which will soon be made into a web series and is expected to go live by the end of September.

According to a report, the producers Spectra Multimedia had in December last year announced a web-series and Tv show based on the subject, which was shelved after a few episodes were shot.

The reason being the financial crunch in the market and few takers for the show in India.

Now, if sources are to be believed, the makers of the show Spectra Multimedia have teamed up with director Maneesh Singh and Vrindaavan Films to revive the project, claims a media report, but with a few changes.

While the 'tandoori bhabhi' tag remains, the show will no longer be a spoof on Shilpa Shinde's 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai'. It will be a different show completely with new inputs and creatives, director Maneesh Singh told this news portal.

The characters have also changed. The earlier cast has been shunted out and now the lead role of 'tandoori bhabhi' aka Mrs Savita Bhabhi aka Mrs Savita Sharma will be played by Neha Shah, Singh told us.

Neha Shah's character is called Tandoori Bhabhi - a slang she has earned in the vicinity of her residence due to her penchant for wearing figure-hugging, transparent saris.

Earlier, producer Amrit Kumar Shah had said the web series was a spoof on the by-now immensely popular Bhabhiji show thanks to Bigg Boss winner Shilpa Shinde.

The main lead plays the role of a sexy Bhabhi with a twist - this Bhabhi always wears a multicolored bikini under her sari and more often than not ends up accidentally revealing parts of her bikini.

Producer Amrit Kumar Shah has bowed out of the project, which has been taken over by Maneesh Singh.

While all this remains in the re-designed series, there will be a sprinkling of some 'inspirational scenes' from the internationally famous comic character Savita Bhabhi as well. This will make the show hotter, director Maneesh Singh revealed, adding that this time the character draws more inspiration from Gulfam Kali, rather than Angoori Bhabhi.

The shoot will commence after the Ganapati festival is over in Mumbai, Maneesh Singh said. 

All the male residents of Golla Nagar, the men, women and children included - the nukkad where Tandoori Bhabhi lives are big fans of Tandoori Bhabhi and never miss an opportunity to meet up with the sexy Bhabhi.

The lecherous part of the series doesn’t end here. Much like Vibhuti Narayan Mishra aka Nalla from the TV show (played by Aashif Sheikh), all the male residents of this fictitious society are always hungry to have a rendezvous with the Bhabhi and do crazy things to catch up with Bhabhi. 

The internet, ironically, is already home to another Bhabhi – Savita Bhabhi – infamous for its soft porn content. Tandoori Bhabhi will pick up a few scenes from this cartoon character as well..

The first runner-up is Kambalipoochi by VG Balasubramanian, second runner-up awarded to Peraarvam by Sarang Thiagu, third runner-up won by Cookerku Whistle Podu by Shyam Sundar and fourth runner-up to Mayir by Logi. They receive prize money to the tune of Rs. 2 lakhs for first runner-up, Rs. 1 lakh for second runner-up, and Rs. 25,000 each for third and fourth runner-up.

Interesting to note this year were the powerful social messages being delivered via the short film format. Kalki, a 3-minute movie showcasing the race between life and time, provided the same thrilling impact of a 3-hour movie. Mayir, a dark comedy, spotlighted farmers’ conditions. Cookerku Whistle Podu, a political satire, received appreciation for its boldness.

A strong message on child abuse was conveyed in Kambilipoochi and Peraarvam narrated a story which received very positive reviews from the viewers.

“This season helped us identify raw new talent and exposed us to various innovative stories, we wish them all the best and we will be interested in working with this new class of creators.

This platform gives us more options on the projects we want to support,” says Suriya. His company, 2D Entertainment, focuses on quality content ensuring entertainment with a difference by nurturing innovative talent and utilizing the best of technology.

Under the Moviebuff First Clap platform, over 5,000,000 plus viewers watched the five movies at more than 200 primary screens across Tamilnadu for a period of five weeks. Five filmmakers benefitted from the once-in-a-lifetime experience where their movie was screened across the state, providing a much wider reach for their efforts and direct audience feedback.

During this screening period, the general public was invited to vote for their favorite film by SMS voting or app-based voting. More than 1 lakh voting entries were received overall across all platforms.

Winners were then chosen based on the expert decisions of jury panel members: renowned directors Ram, Vignesh Shivan, Karthik Naren, Arun Prabhu, Nithlan, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, editor Ruban, sound engineer Udhay, reviewer Sathis and Mr. Rajasekarapandian, CEO, 2D Entertainment along with data collected from the public voting.
