SuperBottoms - Reusable Cloth Diapers for Babies
SuperBottoms began when a new mother was looking for high-performance cloth diapers and she found that there was a major need for products that combined the convenience of disposable diapers in the goodness of cloth.
When Pallavi’s baby got his first diaper rash, she realised the negative impact of disposable diapers on babies' skin and also how the diapers were extremely harmful for the environment with each diaper lasting 500+ years. On the other hand, traditional cloth nappies, though very skin friendly, are difficult to manage.
That is when Pallavi began exploring other options.
Thus was born SuperBottoms, a brand of reusable and washable cloth diapers. SuperBottoms is a four year old company now and has a very loyal base of customers. The registered name of the company is Navashya Consumer Products Private Limited.
SuperBottoms makes cloth diapers for babies from newborn till the child gets toilet trained. They are a skin friendly and eco-friendly alternative to disposable diapers. The diapers being reusable also turn out to be an economical diapering option for babies.
SuperBottoms also makes other baby hygiene products like organic cotton nappies and padded underwears for toilet training of babies and other accessories related to diapering like waterproof cloth bags, diaper backpacks.
SuperBottoms is India’s first CPSIA certified cloth diaper brand and we use 100% certified organic cotton in our products. It is India’s no. 1 cloth diaper brand (as per data by Amazon) and has been voted the no. 1 eco-friendly diaper brand by Kids Stop Press Awards in 2017 & 2018.
SuperBottoms is an all parents team with moms being at the core of the team who carefully design the products keeping the comfort and safety of the babies in mind. SuperBottoms runs a cloth diaper helpline which provides support across platforms to new customers who require hand holding in their journey with cloth diapering. The helpline is run by a team of very passionate mothers who have used the products and want to help others too in their journey. Our team always worked remotely from different cities of India, even before the pandemic, which helps the mothers to balance their work and life. SuperBottoms also has a very loyal set of mothers called Supermitr who are passionate about spreading awareness about cloth diapers in their communities which is a very unique and effective channel of promotion as when it comes to their babies, mothers trust other mothers the most.
Angel funding led by Titan Capital, a venture capital firm of Snapdeal founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal along with Venture Catalysts. Early 2020, SuperBottoms raised funds from DSG Consumer Partners in a pre-series A round.
