'Mogamul' based on a novel by veteran writer Thi. Janakiraman of the same name, has completed
25 years and so is Abhishek Sankar who marked his Tamil Film Industry debut through this movie.
Abhishek Sankar, who made his debut as a Tamil actor through the film 'Mogamul', has acted in
more than 25 films, 10,000 TV episodes, 60 stage dramas in Marathi and Hindi. Abhishek, who
has a keen interest in filmmaking, has also made his mark as a Director, directing one feature film,

He has also hosted over 650 television programs. While he has received various awards
for his talents, National Film Award for the Best Film, Two National Awards for the Best Actor,
Indira Gandhi Lotus Award, Tamil Nadu State ‘Kalaimamani’ Award, 4 Mylapore Academy Awards,
Best All Round Rolling Trophy deserves special mention.
He stands out as a busy artist even today and has played key roles in upcoming films 'Adangaathe',
'Ka Pae Ranasingham', 'Kapadathari', 'N4' and 'Miruga'.
