Demonte Colony 3 Completes Filming, Marches Towards a Grand Summer Release

*Demonte Colony 3 Completes Filming, Marches Towards a Grand Summer Release*

After creating a wave of intrigue with its striking first-look reveal, followed by the unveiling of its compelling characters, Demonte Colony 3 has now successfully wrapped up its shoot. The film, which steadily built momentum with each update, is all set to enter its final phase of post-production. With anticipation running high, the makers are gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release in Summer.

Producer Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios remarks, “A director’s craftsmanship is not merely defined by narrative finesse or technical prowess, but equally by the discipline and commitment to deliver a project within its stipulated timeframe. Demonte Colony 3 has been mounted on an expansive scale, and much like its title evokes a distinct geographical identity, the film has been shot across diverse international and domestic locations, including Portugal, Malta , Leh–Ladakh, and Chennai. Given the magnitude of its star cast and technical ensemble, completing the production within schedule could have proven exceedingly arduous for any filmmaker. I was, in fact, prepared to extend both the shooting timeline and the budget, having been thoroughly captivated by the manner in which the film was taking shape. Nevertheless, director Ajay Gnanamuthu demonstrated exemplary discipline and punctuality, ensuring that the entire shoot was wrapped as planned within 80 days.”

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu says, “Upon finalising the script, Sudhan sir unequivocally emphasised that quality must remain paramount, and expressed his willingness to invest substantially to ensure that the creative vision was realised in its finest form. It is indeed a privilege for a franchise like Demonte Colony to be supported by such a proficient producer. The journey of creating Demonte Colony 3 has been immensely fulfilling. Even the most demanding challenges appeared seamless, owing to the consistent  and magnanimous support of the production team. Arulnithi’s conviction and dedication to the process were particularly inspiring. The technical crew and the entire cast stood as steadfast pillars, enabling us to complete the shoot within the planned 80-day schedule. The Demonte Colony franchise has transcended linguistic and regional boundaries, earning widespread appreciation across audiences. With the third instalment, we have endeavoured to cater to a global viewership, ensuring that the film resonates beyond conventional limits. While we have given our utmost in the making, the journey continues, as our post-production team works diligently to craft a compelling theatrical experience. We eagerly look forward to presenting the film to audiences worldwide with its theatrical release in summer.”

Demonte Colony 3 raises the stakes with a power-packed ensemble led by Arulnithi and Priya Bhavanishankar, alongside Antti Jaaskelainen, Guru Somasundaram, GM Kumar, Muthukumar, SreeKumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Kathir, Ashiq Hussain, Sarjano Khalid, Archana Ravichandran, and many more.

Elevating the eerie atmosphere, Sam CS delivers a gripping score, while Sivakumar Vijayan captures the haunting visuals and Kumaresh D sharpens the narrative with crisp editing.

Crafted by writer-director Ajay R Gnanamuthu, the film is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release this summer. Backing this chilling venture are producers Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal, and Durgaram Choudhary.
