Students deserve Justice, accountability and a Level playing field in NEET… says Deepshika

*Students deserve Justice, accountability and a Level playing field in NEET… says Deepshika*

An examination that selects the future professionals who will save lives carries immense responsibility. But merit is meaningful only when opportunity is equal.

If NEET is the standard for medical admissions, then the standard of preparation must also be equal. NEET aspirants, especially in government and rural schools, deserve access to quality NEET coaching and educational resources. I say this from experience; I was once a NEET aspirant.

Students deserve accountability for any examination malpractice, justice for those affected, and reforms that strengthen the integrity of the system.

Let this remain what it truly is: a student-led movement, should not be politically polarised. The focus must remain on students, fairness, accountability, and educational reform.

  1. The pursuit of justice in education is about more than resolving a single issue—it is about reinforcing trust, accountability, and transparency within the entire system. Every student deserves to have their concerns heard through a fair and impartial process, and meaningful reforms should ensure that similar situations are prevented in the future. True accountability not only delivers justice to those affected but also strengthens confidence in educational institutions for generations to come.
