A host of Bollywood celebs arrived at Mussorie as part of the state formation day celebrations, followed by a film conclave, inaugurated by Union Cabinet Minister Smriti Irani & the Chief Minister, being jointly organized by the state government and APN News.         

                                   

Chairman Wave Group Raju Chadha, award-winning filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj, Rahul Mittra, Muzaffar Ali, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Girish Malik, Umesh Shukla, Bharat Bala, Bunty Walia, Vikram Khakhar, Shree Narayan Singh, Sandeep Singh, Ajay Arora, Raaj Shaandilyaa, writer Puja Ballutia, well known critics Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahta, actresses Kavita Chaudhary & Pooja Bisht, Kulmeet Makkar from Producers Guild of India & Dharmindra Mehra from Film Makers Combine were awarded for their contribution to the film industry .                                             
The special invitees deliberated on shooting films here in the future, apart from interacting with the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.

On this occasion, producers Raju Chadha & Rahul Mittra announced the shooting of their next supernatural thriller Anjaan starring Arjun Rampal in Uttrakhand next year.

Well, known filmmakers, Raju Chadha & Rahul Mittra have signed actor Arjun Rampal for their next horror film titled Anjaan. 

Set in breathtaking hilly locales, this edgy supernatural thriller will have Arjun Rampal essay the role of a cop investigating murders of three young girls.  
                     
“Arjun was the first choice and he said an immediate yes after listening to the script, “ said Rahul Mittra who had earlier collaborated with Arjun Rampal on Daddy in 2017.

Quirky & one that will keep the audiences on the edge, the film will be directed by Amitendra Vats, written by Puja Ballutia and co-produced by Vikram Khakhar and is set to go on the floors by January 2020.

Sanjay Dutt celebrates Ganpati with Jackie Shroff & Rahul Mittra

A host of celebrities welcomed Lord Ganesha to their homes this year. Ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this week, many of them including Manyata & Sanjay S. Dutt were seen prepping for the festivities at their Pali Hill home in Mumbai, along with close friends actor Jackie Shroff & filmmaker Rahul Mittra. 

Sanjay Dutt will be next seen in “Torbaaz” along with Nargis Fakhri, Produced by Raju Chadha & Rahul Mittra and directed by Girish Malik.

Imminent filmmaker Rahul Mittra was awarded for his contribution to the Indian film industry at the Global Film Tourism Conclave by Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at a glittering function in Mumbai recently. An initiative of the PHD Chamber of Commerce, other prominent awardees & guests included veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, Actor Satish Kaushik & Satyajeet Rajan, DG Tourism, Government of India, amongst others. 

Rahul Mittra’s next film Torbaaz, starring Sanjay Dutt & Nargis Fakhri is slated for a mega release later this year.
