Prassthanam director Deva Kattareveals that necessary changes were made in the script for the Bollywood version

 Prassthanam starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Manisha Koirala is building up a lot of curiosity among the fans since the launch of its trailer.

Director Deva Katta who has also helmed the original film recently mentioned that necessary changes were made in the script for the Bollywood version. He said, “The story of the film is and will be relevant at any given time, it is only the setting that has changed. Baba was the first person who connected with us as soon as the film released in Telugu. We had decided back then that we would do a film together. I’m glad to be able to remake this movie for Bollywood and work with an eclectic star cast.”

The film also stars Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey in pivotal roles.

Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff come together for Prassthanam after twelve years

 Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff will be sharing the screen space together after twelve years. The stars were last seen in 2007 film Eklavya: The Royal Guard. The duo has been friends for many years and worked on numerous films together.

Keeping their friendship aside, Jackie was offered the film as the makers thought he would be apt for the role. Speaking about the cast, Director Deva Katta says, “I got an opportunity to work with such senior actors from the industry. Jackie dada and Sanjay Dutt, who share a great bond in real life, are a delight to watch on the screen together.” Along with Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala, the film also features Manisha Koirala, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey.

Sanjay Dutt to celebrate his 60th birthday with fans!

The actor will be launching the teaser of his much-awaited film 'Prasthanam'.

Superstar Sanjay Dutt, who is currently gearing up for his home production film 'Prasthanam' will be celebrating his birthday with fans and it will be a double celebration as the actor will also be launching the teaser of his next!

This teaser launch event is expected to be a treat for Sanjay’s fan clubs, who have been dedicatedly visiting his Bandra residence each year to wish him on that day.

The film is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu cult classic 'Prasthanam.'

Along with Sanjay Dutt, the movie also stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey. The film is produced by Maanayata Dutt and helmed by director Deva Katta who was also the director of the original film.

The thrilling family drama is all set to hit the theaters on 20th September 2019!

Is Jackie Shroff playing the part of RAW’s founder director RN Kao

 in RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter)?

A gentleman to the core and an actor par excellence, Jackie Shroff remains one of our hottest, most popular movie stars. And now we hear that Shroff will play the important role of the first chief of Research & Analysis Wing, (RAW), in the upcoming film, RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter), starring John Abraham.

His character in the film, that of the mild-mannered, shrewd strategist and a fiercely private man reminds us of RN Kao, the founding father of Indian intelligence agency, RAW. A source from the film’s unit tells us, “RN Kao's contribution in shaping RAW and the role it played in the Indo Pak conflict of 1971 is phenomenal. Jackie plays the part of the first RAW chief in the film bringing heft, gravitas and an intensity that few actors possess. When he got to sign up for the role, he was very excited and asked for research and information on the character. Kao has only been photographed twice in his lifetime, and was an intensely private man, so very little is known about him in the public domain. Jackie has given it his all and brought alive an important and memorable character in this film.”

It is noteworthy to remember that it was under R N Kao's leadership that RAW conceived and developed the idea of the Mukti Vahini, the homegrown guerilla force in the erstwhile East Pakistan that battled for the independence and formation of Bangladesh. He was the mastermind of an elaborate defense and foreign policy tactic that he executed with full confidence of India’s Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 1971 conflict.

Set in the tumultuous period of 1968-71, RAW is based on true events which had an impact on the future of three countries- India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It was a period, which saw the subcontinent’s most decisive battle marking the birth of Bangladesh. In just 13 days the Pakistan army surrender unconditionally to the Indian army, making the 1971 war one of the shortest in history. India’s intelligence agencies, especially RAW, played a very crucial part in this conflict, which made every Indian action precise, impactful and deadly. 

With its interesting historical premise, RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter) promises to be a must watch this 5th April

Makers of Superstar Prabhas's next introduce Shades of Saaho

A day prior to the BIG day for fans of Baahubali star, Prabhas, the makers of his next film, Saaho, release a new still of the film.

The still has Prabhas looking absolutely dapper, stylish and drool worthy for millions of his female fans not just across India but even overseas.

Along with it, they also introduce a special video series which they call, 'Shades of Saaho', a rare mix of the making and film footage for the fans.

The first video will be out tomorrow, which happens to be Prabhas’s birthday.

This is to share glimpses from Prabhas's next film after the record-breaking, 1500 cr film Baahubali: The Conclusion. The fans will be watching him after more than one year and so they are super excited.

Saaho, one of the most anticipated films, starring Prabhas who enjoys pan India appeal, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is simultaneously being shot in 3 languages; Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
