Prassthanam director Deva Kattareveals that necessary changes were made in the script for the Bollywood version

 Prassthanam starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Manisha Koirala is building up a lot of curiosity among the fans since the launch of its trailer.

Director Deva Katta who has also helmed the original film recently mentioned that necessary changes were made in the script for the Bollywood version. He said, “The story of the film is and will be relevant at any given time, it is only the setting that has changed. Baba was the first person who connected with us as soon as the film released in Telugu. We had decided back then that we would do a film together. I’m glad to be able to remake this movie for Bollywood and work with an eclectic star cast.”

The film also stars Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey in pivotal roles.

Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff come together for Prassthanam after twelve years

 Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff will be sharing the screen space together after twelve years. The stars were last seen in 2007 film Eklavya: The Royal Guard. The duo has been friends for many years and worked on numerous films together.

Keeping their friendship aside, Jackie was offered the film as the makers thought he would be apt for the role. Speaking about the cast, Director Deva Katta says, “I got an opportunity to work with such senior actors from the industry. Jackie dada and Sanjay Dutt, who share a great bond in real life, are a delight to watch on the screen together.” Along with Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala, the film also features Manisha Koirala, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey.

Sanjay Dutt celebrates Ganpati with Jackie Shroff & Rahul Mittra

A host of celebrities welcomed Lord Ganesha to their homes this year. Ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this week, many of them including Manyata & Sanjay S. Dutt were seen prepping for the festivities at their Pali Hill home in Mumbai, along with close friends actor Jackie Shroff & filmmaker Rahul Mittra. 

Sanjay Dutt will be next seen in “Torbaaz” along with Nargis Fakhri, Produced by Raju Chadha & Rahul Mittra and directed by Girish Malik.

Jackie Shroff gets candid on working with Sanjay Dutt & Manisha Koirala in Prassthanam

  Jackie Shroff is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Prassthanam’ which also features Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala. The trio who have earlier worked together in Kartoos collaborated after 20 years for Prassthanam. Speaking about the same, the ace actor said, “There was a free flow of energy because, for us, it was like picking up from where we had left off. Even though the industry is a small world sometimes it takes years for friends to meet and working together takes even longer.’’

Confessing fondness for his co-stars, Jackie Shroff further added, ‘’We love each other intensely but don’t need to say it aloud. Ishq ka zyada izhaar karo toh kharaab ho jaata hai,”

The political drama is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu film by the same name.
