"தி போயட் ஸ்டுடியோஸ்" தயாரிப்பில் அறிமுக இயக்குநர் குமரன் இயக்கியிருக்கும் படம் "ஜடா". "பரியேறும் பெருமாள்", " பிகில்" என அடுத்தடுத்து வெற்றிப்படங்களில் நடித்து அசத்தும் கதிர் இப்படத்தின் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். யோகிபாபு முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்திருக்கும் இப்படத்திற்கு சாம் சி.எஸ் இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். ஒளிப்பதிவு ஏ.ஆர்.சூர்யா, எடிட்டிங் ரிச்சர்ட் கெவின். இப்படம் வருகிற டிசம்பர் 6-ஆம் தேதி வெளியாக இருக்கிறது.

Sunaina pairs opposite new hero in Sci-Fi Dark Comedy Trip

Few days ago, the news on Yogi Babu and Karunakaran sharing the space together for a Sci-Fi Dark Comedy film titled “Trip” had generously gained the attention of public glare. Now, a new inclusion happens with the star-cast as the ravishing and talented Sunaina, who will be playing the love interest of Praveen, who earlier shot to fame for his prominent role in Atharvaa Murali starrer “100”.
Director Denni says, “The role played by Sunaina is a challenging one as it involves lots of moments to grease her elbows. Initially, we had approached several leading heroines for this role as we felt that their presence would deepen the character’s value. However, they weren’t ready to pair opposite a new hero like Praveen. Surprisingly, Sunaina gave an instant nod understanding the unique value of this script and depth of her role. I am sure; this film will be definitely regarded as one among the best for Sunaina.”

 Actress Sunaina says, “The first thing that impressed me a lot was script and the way how Dennis narrated it. It was almost like a VR-Box experience, where I could find myself commuted into the forest ambience experiencing what my character alongside others would do.” Talking about her choice on playing the love interest of a new hero, she says, “There’s nothing called a new or well established actor. End of the day, it’s about how well an artiste gives life to the roles offered to them. During the rehearsals, I could see that Praveen has great potentials of establishing himself as a prominent actor with his unique skills.”

A for Sai Film Studios, the film was launched this morning (September 11) with a ritual ceremony that was attended by producer Vishwanathan.A, Actor-Producer Praveen, Lakshmi Priya, Athulya Ravi, Karunakaran, director Sam Anton, Producer Shakthi - Shakthi Film Factory, director Dass Ramasamy, director Sathyamurthy, Dialogue writer Savarimuthu (Viswasam & Irumbu Thirai fame), director Dennis Manjunath, Cinematographer Udhaya Shankar, editor Deepak, stunt master Danger Mani, costume designer - Nivetha Joseph, choreographer Shakthi Raju, Music director Siddhu Kumar and Executive Producer Kannan & Production Executive - Theni Thamizh were present for the occasion.


The shooting will start from September 16 in Talakona forest, where the entire portions will be completed in a single stretch of 38 days followed by 2 days of shoot in Kodaikanal.

Directed by debutant Dennis Manjunath, who worked as former associate to Sam Anton in “100”, Siddhu Kumar of Sivappu Manjal Pachai is composing music with Udhay Shankar handling cinematography and Deepak on editing.  The film is about unexpected events that happen when two groups, one involving Yogi Babu and Karunakaran travelling for a painting job and another one comprising of 5 boys and 4 girls on a trip inside forest come across each other.

Actress Anjali’s fantasy-comedy shooting commences with ritual ceremony

The official announcement pertaining to Anjali’s new film featuring Yogi Babu and Vijay TV fame Ramar alongside in titular roles, which is a fantasy-comedy, was made few days ago. This morning, the film was launched with a simple ritual ceremony followed by the commencement of shooting, which is being planned to be completed in a short span of time

Sharing the news, producer K. Sinish of The Soldiers Factory says, “I am happy that the film is launched with a ritual ceremony with the presence of well wishers and friends. Director Krishnan Jayaraj has crafted a story that has lot of rib-tickling and engaging moments. As a filmmaker and audience, I am really bounded to more excitements working on this project. I am happy that Anjali has accepted to be a part of this film and I can assure that she will have a complete changeover in her screen presence with a different role in this movie. Yogi Babu and Vijay TV fame Ramar aren’t simply included for the sake of public glare, but will appear in substantial roles, where their appearances can be found throughout the movie. We will be soon making announcements on few more prominent actors, who will be playing important roles in this movie.” 

Vishal Chandrashekar is composing music for this untitled film, which has cinematography handled by Arvi and Sakthi Venkatraj is the art director. Ruben takes care of editing with Arunraja Kamaraj penning lyrics and Dhilip Subbarayan choreographing action sequences.

நடிகை யாஷிகா ஆனந்த் பேசும்போது,

நீண்ட இடைவெளிக்குப் பிறகு உங்களை சந்திப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி. இந்த படத்தில் ஒளிப்பதிவாளரின் பணி தான் முக்கியமானது. அந்தப் பொறுப்பை உணர்ந்து ஒவ்வொரு கோணத்திலும் கேமராவை வைத்து கடினமாக உழைத்திருக்கிறார் ஒளிப்பதிவாளர்  அதேபோல் நடன இயக்குநர் எனக்கேற்றவாறு நடனம் அமைத்துக் கொடுத்தார். இரவு பகலாக படப்பிடிப்பு நடக்கும். இருப்பினும் அனைவரும் ஒரு குடும்பம் போல பணியாற்றினோம். மேக்கப் போடுவதற்கு 3 மணி நேரம் ஆகும் என்றார்.

இயக்குநர் பொன்ராம் பேசும்போது,

வசந்தும் முத்துக்குமாரும் எனது நண்பர்கள். இப்படத்தை நானும் இணைந்து தயாரிப்பதாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் சில காரணங்களால் என்னால் இயலவில்லை. பேய் படத்திற்கு நகைச்சுவை நன்றாக இருந்தால் தான் படம் வெற்றியடையும். அந்த வகையில் இந்தப் படத்தில் பேய் படமாக இல்லாமல் நகைச்சுவைக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து எடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். இன்று யுடியூப் அனைவரையும் சென்றடைந்திருக்கிறது. என்னுடைய மூன்று படங்களுக்கு விஷ்ணு பணியாற்றியிருக்கிறார். இப்படம் ஒரு புது முயற்சி என்று கூறலாம். இதுபோல அவர்கள் பல படங்கள் எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றார்.

புவன் நல்லான் பேசும்போது,

There are lot of cherishing memories for 90s kids, which have become a diminished memory now. With the technological advancements, especially in the cyber space, few things that were regarded as cultural celebrations have diminished. One among them is ‘Lyric Book’ (பாட்டு புக்), which was the center of attraction for every kid in 90s. With the emergence of digital music platforms and portals, it has now got its ‘Electronic’ dimension and of course, which is indeed replaced with ‘Lyric Videos’ now. With ‘Time Travel’ being the celebrated concept in many movies from Hollywood to Kollywood, every 90s kids would actually yearn to travel back to those golden days and relive those sweet memories. Maybe, it’s hypothetical and impossible, but the team “Comali” has something special to offer us now – Bringing back the “Song Book” into existence again. 

“There was something really surprising about the reception of Comali trailer. We actually assumed that everyone will enjoy and appreciate the trailer its fun and joy elements for its premise that revolves around the protagonist waking up from coma after 20 years and finding himself isolated due to vast difference. However, the reception came encapsulated with emotional embracement too for many did have a feel of missing some of the best things that were present in 90s.  Accordingly, we wanted to regenerate some of the best things of that phase and bringing in ‘Lyric Book’ is our first step. When the film’s audio release would happen, the song books would immediately find a huge demand, which were sold in almost all the public places. There have been times, when people would informally go for advance booking from vendors for these lyric books. However, things have completely changed now. We will be placing the song book of “Comali” comprising the lyrics of all the 5 songs at multiplexes near the film’s standees. The audiences coming to theatres can pick a copy of it. This is just a simple attempt to relive the memories of 90s.” 

Scheduled for August 15 release, Comali is written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan with Dr. Ishari K Ganesh bankrolling it for Vels Film International. The film has Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles with Samyuktha Hegde, Yogi Babu and many more prominent actors as a part of star-cast. Hiphop Aadhi has composed music fo this film and cinematography is handled by Richard M Nathan.
