காமெடியில் கொடி கட்டிப்பறக்கும் யோகிபாபு தர்மபிரபு, கூர்கா, ஜாம்பி ஆகிய படங்களைத் தொடர்ந்து தற்போது  "பட்லர் பாலு" எனும் படத்தில் காமெடியனாக முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில்   நடித்துள்ளார். அவரோடு இமான் அண்ணாச்சியும் இணைந்துள்ளார்.  மற்றும் மயில்சாமி, ரோபோசங்கர், தாடிபாலாஜி ஆகியோரும் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

முழுக்க முழுக்க நகைச்சுவையை அடித்தளமாக கொண்ட இப்படத்தில் யோகிபாபுவிற்கு கல்யாண வீடுகளில் சமையல் செய்யும் சமையள் காரர் வேடம். எப்படி நடிகர் நாகேஷுக்கு சர்வர் சுந்தரம் படம் மிக முக்கியமான படமாக அமைந்ததோ அதுபோல் யோகிபாபுவிற்கு இந்த “ பட்லர்பாலு “ படம் அமையும் என்கிறார்கள். இதுவரை ஏற்காத ஒரு வேடத்தில் யோகிபாபு தோன்ற 

சமையல் வேலைக்காக சென்ற  திருமண மண்டபத்தில்  மணப்பெண்ணை யோகிபாபுவின் நண்பர்கள் கடத்தி  விடுகிறார்கள். அதனால் போலீஸ் அவரை கைது செய்துவிடுகிறது.போலீசிடம் இருந்து எப்படி வெளியே வந்தார்  என்பதை ஒரு இரவுக்குள் நடக்கும் படி கலகல காமெடி கலந்த திரைக்கதையாக  “ பட்லர் பாலு “ படத்தை உருவாக்கி இருக்கிறார்

யோகிபாபு பட்லர் பாலு என்ற படத்தில் ஹீரோவாக நடிக்கிறார்

நடிகர் யோகிபாபு தர்மபிரபு, கூர்கா ஆகிய படங்களில் கதையின் நாயகனாக நடித்திருந்தார். தற்போது  பல படங்களில் தொடர்ந்து காமெடியனாக நடித்து வருகிறார். இந்நிலையில் யோகிபாபு பட்லர் பாலு என்ற படத்தில் ஹீரோவாக நடிக்கிறார் என்ற செய்தி சமீபத்தில் ஒரு நாளிதழில் வெளியாகி இருந்தது. மேலும் யோகிபாபுவிற்கு நகைச்சுவை காட்சிகளுக்கான வசனங்களை  இயக்குநர் S.P. ராஜ்குமார் தான் எழுதி கொடுக்கிறார் என்ற செய்தியும் வெளியாகி இருந்தது. இந்த இரு செய்திகளையும்  மறுத்துள்ளார் யோகிபாபு. மேலும் இது தொடர்பாக அவர் கூறும்போது,

"தர்மபிரபு, கூர்கா என இரண்டு படங்களில் தான் கதையின் நாயகனாக நான் நடித்துள்ளேன். அதன்பின் தொடர்ந்து காமெடியனாகத் தான் பல படங்களில் நடித்து வருகிறேன். பட்லர் பாலு என்ற படத்தில் காமெடியனாக  எட்டு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு வெறும் நான்கு நாட்கள்  மட்டும் தான் நடித்திருந்தேன். ஆனால் தற்போது நான் தான் அப்படத்தின் ஹீரோ என்பது போல் செய்தியை வெளியிட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அதில் துளியும் உண்மை இல்லை. மேலும் எனக்கு நகைச்சுவை சம்பந்தப்பட்ட வசனங்கள் யாரும் எழுதித்தருவதில்லை. அதற்கான அவசியமும் ஏற்படவில்லை. இயக்குநர்கள் தரும் வசனங்களை என் ஸ்டைலுக்கு ஏற்றவாறு சிறிதாக மாற்றிக்கொள்கிறேன். அந்த வேலையை நானே செய்துகொள்கிறேன். நகைச்சுவை பாத்திரங்களில் தொடர்ந்து நடித்து மக்களை மகிழ்விக்க வேண்டும் என்பது தான் என் ஆசை. தொடர்ந்து எனக்கு ஆதரவு கொடுத்து வரும் ரசிகர்களுக்கும் ஊடகங்களுக்கும் நன்றி" என்றார்

Producer V.N.R of ”KannaiNanbathey”  who recently  announced his production house – LIPI CINE CRAFTS Their Secand project would be helmed by Kannada Film “Traya”  director Krishna Sai and the film has been titled “KadhalModhal50/50”. This film will have Yogi Babu playing the lead role, Music by Dharankumar

On the other hand, Yogi Babu has a slew of films in his kitty. The comedian-turned-hero had two of his films Dharmaprabhu and Ghurka released recently. He will also be seen in biggies like Vijay’s Bigil, Petromax, Sivakarthikeyan's film with Pandiraj, Jyothika’s Jackpot, and many other movies.

2019 to be a special year for director Sam Anton

More than claiming 2019 to be a special year for director Sam Anton, it’s deliberately a ‘Double Delight’ phase for him. While his “100” had a remarkable run in box office with 50 successful days, his immediate next “Gurkha” featuring Yogi Babu in lead role is all set to have its realms from this Friday (July 12). There’s sumptuous reception for the film owing to the fun-filled trailer and songs, which carries the big brand names as well. 

With the visual promos kindling our interests to know if it’s yet another spoof based movie, director Sam Anton says, “This isn’t a spoof movie. Yes, there are few elements that will definitely serve as a spoof, but the main core of the film is set against an emotional backdrop.” Getting back to the memories of how the concept of ‘Gurkha’ was initiated, he adds, “It all happened during the editing of “100”, where Ruben and I took a break for a while. It was a rainy night and what supposedly was a situation to conceive a love story turned out to be unconventional ideation, where we started discussing about this comedy-thriller. The very next day, we approached Yogi Babu Sir and narrated him the gist. To our surprise, he agreed to be a part of this film and then we started working full-fledged on the script.” 

Talking about Canadian model Elyssa Erhadt, Sam Anton says, “She was so nice throughout the shoot and extended her support thoroughly. There were many instances, where she kept reworking on her portions before facing the camera. In fact, such efforts made us complete the project on time.” Getting on with the major highlight of a cute Labrador ‘Undertaker’, Sam says, “Yes, he is going to be yet another attraction. Actually, the story is about an underdog Gurkha and a Labrador, which is labeled as ‘fit for nothing’ becoming overnight heroes when terrorists have hijacked a shopping mall.” 

Being one of the producers for 4 Monkeys Studio, Sam Anton says, “Everyone from Sivakarthikeyan brother and GV Prakash has been completely helpful in nurturing the enhancement of Gurkha. Despite the busy schedule, Sivakarthikeyan took his personal time to pen lyrics for a song (Poya) and it didn’t end there. He would personally call up and ask how the song is shaping up. Such love and support have been the great pillars for our entire team.”  

Krishnan Vasant is handling cinematography for this film that has musical score by Raj Aryan and editing by Ruben.

Yogi Babu starrer “Gurkha” album is spangled with celebration of Sivakarthikeyan, Vignesh Shivn, Arunraja Kamaraj and GV Prakash

Comedy actor Yogi Babu has become the lucky mascot of all the movies and his brand name has become an integral part of them. He makes his debut in lead role through the movie ‘Gurkha’ has generated good expectations across the months. The film’s audio launch was held in grandeur this morning that was graced by the eminent personalities of Tamil film industry including veteran playback singer SP Balasubramaniam and Siddarth. 

The ‘Gurkha’ album has etched an instant attention for having the big names involved. Actor Sivakarthikeyan, Vignesh Shivn and Arunraja Kamaraj have penned lyrics. In addition, music director GV Prakash and Arunraja Kamaraj have crooned a song each. All these songs composed by music director Raj Aryan based on different styles have turned to be the special attractions.  

Gurkha is written and directed by Sam Anton and is produced by 4 Monkeys Studio. Krishnan Vasant is handling cinematography with Ruben on editing. “DHARMA PRABHU” 

Yogi Babu starrer ‘Dharma Prabhu’ is a comedy caper set against the backdrops of Yamalokam. The film is directed by Muthu Kumaran and is produced by P. Ranganathan.  Recently, Rs.2Cr worth set work based on imaginations of how a 1.5 Lac year old Yamalokam would look has been erected at AVM Studios. Furthermore, separate set works of heaven and hell have been set up as well. The set was erected by art direct Balachandar along with his 200-member crew, who had worked day and night nearly for a month. 

The shooting of this film will be commencing on December 14. Yogi Babu will be seen playing the role of son Yama and Radharavi as his father Yama. Ramesh Thilak will be seen essaying the role of Chitra Guptan. Azhagam Perumal, ‘Bose’ Venkat, Sonia Bose and few more prominent actors will be a part of the star-cast.  

Interestingly, Meghna Naidu is shaking legs for a song, which will be shot in a grand set work. Special costume and ornaments are being designed for her now.

SRI VAARI FILM PRESENTS P.RANGANATHAN PRODUCTIONS YOGI BABU AND KARUNAKARAN BATTLE FOR ‘NEXT YAMA’ IN "DHARMAPRABHU"

Undoubtedly, Yogi Babu has become the charmer of humour world, where he has captured the hearts and attention of universal audiences with his witticism bounded performances. With every leading actor and filmmaker earnestly desiring him to be a part of their films for the ornamental embellishments, he is now playing lead role in a full-fledged comedy caper titled ‘DHARMAPRABHU’.  

The story is set against the fictional premise of ‘Yamalokam’, where the term of Lord Yama is ending and it’s a moment to elect the ‘Next Yama’. Here begins a huge tug of war between the family heir (Yogi Babu) and ChitraGuptan (Karunakaran), which will involve chain of hilarious events presented in grandeur. 

While Yogi Babu has captured the interests of masses unconditionally, Karunakaran has never missed to turn the spotlights upon him for best choice of films and roles, especially his spontaneity in witty lines, body language and mannerisms has pulled in huge fan following base for him. 

The film is directed by Muthukumaran, who has already completed working on his directorial debut Kanni Rasi featuring Vemal and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles. Witnessing his proficient skills, he has gained this offer even before the release of his maiden debut. 

Mahesh Muthuswamy is handling cinematography with Justin Prabhakaran composing music with Yugabharathi penning lyrics. San Lokesh, who has been stealing our attention in the recent times for stylish cuts is handling editing. A whopping budget is being spent upon the grandeur set works of ‘Yamalokam’ and art director CS Balachandran has already started working on full stretch with his team. Murugan (Costumes), Joseph Jaxson (Designer), Raja Senthil (Executive Producer) and Johnson (PRO) are the others in the technical team. 

The film will be shot extensively in huge set works, Chennai and songs in abroad locations. The shooting will go on floors from December and will be completed in a short span of time.
