Thala Ajith’s Viswasam is out now, with the Flying colors, which received a highly positive report from the Audience. Thrashing out the Non-festival days, the film enters the prime Pongal holidays to form a territory In 2019-box office. The film was out Amidst a phenomenal expectation, which easily managed to live up to the bars  The stellar casting done in the film had become a treat for Ajith fans and also the Common audience.

Actor Robo Shankar had a significant role throughout the film, where his one-liners were showered with the Overwhelming laughter from the audience.

The actor, who is currently enjoying the Film’s success had a few words to share about actor Ajith and Viswasam. The actor said, “ Viswasam is a gift for me. I thank Siva sir for opting me for this role, which Is very close to my heart. I'm happy with the response of the film. 

Sharing about his first meeting with the star, RS said ” When I met Thala in his caravan, he was so cute and genuine, who love to speak from the heart and he does it always. Ajith sir wished a lot for my well being, family and future projects. I requested him to do 2 films per year, especially for his fans, and he responded to this with a warm smile. I was in Madurai for a shoot when Viswasam got released. What an euphoria , what an excitement. He commands tons of love from his family.My phones haven't stopped ringing for the past few days. If Viswa sam was the maiden experience working with Ajith sir, iam waiting more opportunities to share the screen space with him.

இதுவரையில் அஜித்குமார் அவர்களை குடும்பத்தை (வீரம்), சகோதரியை (வேதாளம்) மற்றும் நாட்டை(விவேகம்)  பாதுகாக்கும் ஒரு பாதுகாவலராக தான் இயக்குனர் சிவா சித்தரித்திருக்கிறார். அதுவே விஸ்வாசம் படத்தில் அஜித்தை எப்படி காண்பிப்பார் என்பதை தெரிந்து கொள்ள ரசிகரகளிடையே ஒரு ஆர்வத்தை தூண்டியது. எடிட்டர் ரூபன், இசையமைப்பாளர் டி.இமான், சண்டைப்பயிற்சியாளர் திலீப் சுப்பராயன், கலை இயக்குனர் மிலன் என எனக்கு ஆதரவாக இருந்த ஒட்டுமொத்த அணிக்கும் நான் கடன்பட்டிருக்கிறேன். அவர்கள் அந்தந்த துறைகளில் சிறந்து விளங்கினர். சவுண்ட் உதயகுமார், சவுண்ட் டிசைனர் ஹரி, வி.எஃப்.எக்ஸ் செல்வம் மற்றும் துணை எழுத்தாளர் ஆதி நாராயண ராவ் ஆகியோரின் பங்களிப்பும் மிக அதிகம்.

It’s quite a rarity to find an actor gifted with stylish and charismatic looks with high-skilled performance.  Jagapati Babu has significantly possessed these qualities, which makes him a loveable actor beyond linguistic and regional boundaries. Sharing an inseparable bond with Chennai land for nearly 30 years, he strongly believes “Viswasam” will make him a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu as he says, “To be frank, I have been desperately waiting for a hit film from this soil from childhood and am sure, this film is going to make my long run dream come true.” 

Sharing his beautiful memories of working “Viswasam” team, he adds, “What can I say about a person like Ajith sir? He is so good and warm person, who has unconditionally done lots of good things for many people. I always feel from bottom of heart that an actor like Ajith sir who relentlessly think from the other person's perspective deserves the respect and adoration he recieves from the people  ”

He continues saying, “Well, about our screen roles in this film “Viswasam”, I had a strong positive feeling right from beginning for both the hero and villain sport Salt ‘n’ Pepper looks.  The  audience will see Ajit with such conviction.His role in this film has a perfect mix of mass and class, especially mass that has shades of innocence and arrogance, which his fans and family audiences will enjoy thoroughly. In fact, I personally loved his character in the film as my original thinking in real life has always been the same way.” 

While shedding lights upon the ‘Hero’ dialogue he utters in the trailer, he says, “Yes, when you’ll see the hero and villain clashing in this film, it is mainly due to the difference in our thought processes. I am someone, who believes what I think and do is always right, which makes me say “En Kadhaila Naan Hero Da”.” 

Talking about director Siva, he says, “He is so sweet and his smile is always genuine. At times, I would doubtfully ask him if he hides something within and reacts positively outside.  However, his heart and mind is so pure, which reflects in the films he makes.  Nayanthara is a lovely girl, who always is seen brimmed with simplicity down-to-earth nature. Even if I have to work consistently with ‘Viswasam’ team over and again, I would feel more blessed. Everyone in this team share the same vibes of positivity, pureness and good nature.”

With the chartbuster songs of D Imman, colourful visuals by cinematographer Vetri and racy cuts by Editor Ruben in trailers, it has flagged off the festival ambience across the cities and villages.

When we come across the cinematic terms like ‘Festival film’, we are obviously taken to the zone of colourful visuals and the magician behind the lens. In all such stronger possibilities, cinematographer Vetri has been holding a decorous position under spotlights for presenting a colourful trailer of Ajith Kumar starrer Viswasam.  While the trailer comprises of so many mass moments, Vetri reveals what was the most challenging part in this film. 

“Of course, the introduction scene of Ajith sir was the most challenging thing. It happens that every filmmaker working with him would give different introduction scenes that have massy and classy appeals. However, when it comes to Siva, the situations were entirely different as he has already worked with him in three films.  So we had to go through lots of discussions with the team to try something different in Viswasam,” says Vetri. With a much curious desire, we tend to get something more interesting about Ajith Kumar’s introduction and he says, “For the moment I can say is that it will be a worthy treat for fans and audiences. This drama involving the way everyone waits for him, his arrival and what he does after it will involve enjoyable moments.” 

When it comes to trio combo of Ajith Kumar-Siva-Vetri, ‘Theatre Moments’ become the top priority of fans. In this regards, Vetri opines, “Yes, there are lots of theatre moments in the film for fans to whistle and celebrate. But as far as I have seen, it’s been a long time that Ajith sir had essayed such an entertaining role in the past 10-12 years. Even when it comes to our previous films – Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam, his roles were sketched with seriousness. Whereas Viswasam will have him unleashing the entertainer avatar, where fans will have a blast and general audiences will love him.He had also displayed his emotional angle to such an extent that iam very sure the audience will feel connected to the protagonist "Thookku Durai" emotionally too. 

As the story is set against both urban and rural backdrops, cinematographer Vetri emphasizes an interesting fact. “Since, the story is placed in two different backdrops, we have used different colour scheme. When it comes to action sequences, the most challenging part was the rain episode and I believe audiences will enjoy it.” 

Sathya Jyothi Films has bankrolled Viswasam featuring Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara in lead roles. With D Imman’s musical chartbuster and scintillating trailer already capturing the spotlights, the film is scheduled for worldwide release on January 10.

“More than challenges, I would say, we had lots of responsibilities as every action sequence has a concept. In fact, every action block happens to be a point, where the plot progresses into next stage. So we had to aware about how we carry it.  Thanks to Siva, as he was clear about his ideas when writing the script itself and this made the work easier,” rejoices Stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan the proud stunt master of "Viswasam" says, “There will lots of newness in the film’s action sequences.” 

While speaking about Ajith Kumar, he opines, “He is polite, humble and a perfect Gentleman. He is always admired by every stuntman for the way he treats them with respect. When it comes to profession, he never interferes or involves into our ideas and is always ready to go by our decisions.”  So, how about the massy rain fight we saw in trailer that everyone is raving about. “Yes, as soon as Siva had opened up about this action sequence, I was so much surprised. Although, there are lots of raciness and enthrallments for audiences with Ajith sir’s bike stunts and stunts, it holds emotional aspects too. I cannot reveal more on this, but it will be a great experience to watch it in theatres.” 

Getting on to speak about the other action sequences, especially the one we saw in the backdrops of toilet, Dhilip Subbarayan brings up interesting information. “It had some challenges are the space was very much limited and we had to set up the entire drama within it. More than all, it was really a risky one as it was Tiles floors, which were slippery. We aren’t supposed to dry it as the continuity would be missed out for the next shot. So we had to proceed with it though it was very challenging. But the entire team was committed and it helped us accomplish over it.” 

Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, Siva has wielded megaphone for this massy family entertainer scheduled for worldwide release on January 10.  Nayanthara, Jagapathi, Vivek, Thambi Ramaiah, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Baby Anikha and many more prominent actors are a part of this film.

Definitely, ‘Editors’ become the first audience or critic of movies as they happen to get a clear picture of what’s a film as raw footage and edited version. Being a rapid runner on the front with lots of projects, Editor Ruben feels something special about Ajith Kumar’s Viswasam.  

“More than claiming this to be a mass movie, Viswasam is a beautiful family entertainer for this festive season. It has all elements to serve as sumptuous feast for this season that everyone will enjoy,” says Editor Ruben, who feels working in Viswasam was a challenging process.  Briefing this context, he adds, “Yes, the story goes through lots of raciness, action and emotional phases, which accordingly demanded certain transitions. Especially, to bring up the final version trailer was much more challenging as the intention was that the expectations among crowds shouldn’t be neither high nor low, but balanced. I had to work on lots of versions that followed by the suggestions of director Siva and producers. We are now happy as a team that we have delivered it accordingly to taste of audiences.” 

So what’s favourite part of Viswasam liked by Ruben? Ask him and he instantly says, “The action sequences are fantastically done, especially the rain fight followed by another one in second half, where Ajith sir would bash the opponents with fists and in between would utter some massy lines… It’s not just going to be mass and action elements, but I feel and believe, overall Viswasam will be a delighting and good experience for family audiences.” 

Scheduled for worldwide release on January 10, Viswasam is directed by Siva and is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films.
