Nayanthara-RJ Balaji starrer Mookuthi Amman shooting commences

With a much spectacular announcement, Mookuthi Amman directed by RJ Balaji had created an instant sensation. Apparently, the film was launched this morning (November 29, 2019) with a ritual ceremony at Bhagavathi Amman Temple in Kanyakumari followed by commencement of shooting at Nagercoil.  The first leg of shooting will be held here at Nagercoil and Nayanthara will be joining the crew sooner.

Grish Gopalakrishnan who shot to fame for his musical score in “Aval” and music director of Nayanthara’s upcoming film “Netrikann” is composing music for Mookuthi Amman. Dinesh Krishnan of Thaanaa Serndha Koottam fame is handling cinematography and Stunt Silva is choreographing stunts. Selva RK of Pariyerum Perumal fame is taking care of editing and costumes are designed by Divya Nagarajan and Anu Vardhan with Vijayakumar as the art director.

RJ Balaji, who will be sharing the screen space with Nayanthara, has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for ‘Mookuthi Amman’ apart from directing it along with NJ Saravanan. Following the hat-trick success of LKG, Comali and Puppy, Dr. Ishari K Ganesh is producing this film for Vels Film International.

நயன்தாராவை எதிர்த்து பேசினேன் ; பிரஜின் கொடுக்கும் ஷாக்

 

மலையாளத்தில் மெயின் வில்லனாக சர்ப்ரைஸ் கொடுத்த பிரஜின்

சின்னத்திரை வெள்ளித்திரை என்று இரண்டிலுமே சரிசமமாக கவனம் செலுத்தி வருபவர் நடிகர் பிரஜின். சமீபத்தில் ஓணம் பண்டிகை ரிலீசாக மலையாளத்தில் வெளியாகியுள்ள லவ் ஆக்ஷன் ட்ராமா என்கிற படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடித்து சர்ப்ரைஸ் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் பிரஜின்.

நிவின்பாலி, நயன்தாரா, வினித் சீனிவாசன், அஜு வர்கீஸ் என முன்னணி நட்சத்திரங்கள் நடித்துள்ள இந்த படம் ஓணம் பண்டிகை ரிலீசாக வெளியான படங்களிலேயே நம்பர் ஒன் இடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. திடீரென மலையாள படத்தில் வில்லனாக மாறியது எப்படி, இந்தப்படத்தில் நடித்த அனுபவங்கள் என்ன என்பது குறித்தெல்லாம் நம்மிடம் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார் பிரஜின்.

மலையாளத்தில் ஏற்கனவே சமீபத்தில் வெளியான ‘த்ரில்லர்’ படம் உட்பட 4 படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளேன்,, சண்டக்கோழி வில்லன் நடிகர் லால் டைரக்ஷனில் மலையாளத்தில் ‘டோர்னமெண்ட்’ என்கிற படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடித்தபோது அந்த படத்தை பார்த்த நகைச்சுவை நடிகர் அஜு வர்கீஸ், எனது நடிப்பை மனதார பாராட்டினார்.. அப்போது தான் அவரும் மலர்வாடி ஆர்ட்ஸ் கிளப் என்கிற படத்தில் நிவின்பாலியுடன் இணைந்து அறிமுகமாகியிருந்த சமயம். அதன் பிறகு கடந்த ஆறு வருடங்களில் முன்னணி கதாநாயகனாக மாறிவிட்ட அஜு வர்கீஸ் தான், இந்த லவ் ஆக்ஷன் ட்ராமா படத்தில் இணை தயாரிப்பாளராக இணைந்து தயாரித்துள்ளார்.

இந்த படத்தில் ஒரு முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் வில்லனாக நடிக்க நடிகரைத் தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது இத்தனை வருடங்களாக என்னை மறக்காமல் நினைவு வைத்திருந்த அஜு வர்கீஸ் உடனே கேரளாவிற்கு கிளம்பி வரச்சொன்னார். அங்கே போனதும்தான், இந்த படத்தில் நான் நடிக்கிறேன் என ஒரு சர்ப்ரைஸ் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

இந்தப்படத்தின் இயக்குநர் தயன் சீனிவாசன் பிரபல இயக்குநர் மற்றும் நடிகரான சீனிவாசனின் மகன் அதுமட்டுமல்ல, இயக்குநர் வினீத் சீனிவாசனின் தம்பியும் கூட.. இதுவரை ஹீரோவாக சில படங்களில் நடித்து வந்தவர் இந்த படத்தின் மூலம் டைரக்ஷன் துறையில் காலடி எடுத்து வைத்துள்ளார்.. அவரது தந்தை, அண்ணனை போலவே இவருக்கும் நடிப்பு டைரக்சன் என்பது ரத்தத்திலேயே ஊறிப் போய் இருந்ததால் அவர் தற்போது இயக்குநராக மாறியுள்ளார்.

முதல் படம் என்றாலும் நிவின்பாலி நயன்தாரா என மிகப்பெரிய நட்சத்திர கூட்டணி அமைத்து, கிடைத்த முதல் வாய்ப்பில் சிக்ஸர் அடித்துள்ளார்.  ஒரு சிலர் இப்படி பிரம்மாண்ட கூட்டணி அமையும்போது அந்த வாய்ப்பை கோட்டை விட்ட நிகழ்வுகளும் உண்டு. ஆனால் தயன் சீனிவாசன் கதையையும் அதற்கேற்ற கதாபாத்திரங்களையும் கச்சிதமாக தேர்வு செய்து முதல் படத்திலேயே சூப்பர் ஹிட் வெற்றியைப் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

இந்த படத்தின் ஹீரோவான நிவின்பாலி, ஒரு வடக்கன் செல்பி படத்திற்கு பிறகு நீண்ட நாள் கழித்து இப்படி ஒரு ஜாலியான படத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார். மலையாளத்தில், தான் ஒரு முன்னணி ஹீரோ என்றாலும் அதற்கான எந்தவித ஒரு பந்தாவும் இல்லாமல் மிக இயல்பாக பழகினார். தமிழில் இருந்து வரும் நடிகர்களுக்கு நல்ல வாய்ப்பு தரவேண்டும் என்பதில் அவர் உறுதியாக இருக்கிறார். அதேபோல நயன்தாரா உடன் இந்தப்படத்தில் இரண்டு காட்சிகளில் இணைந்து நடித்துள்ளேன். ஒரு காட்சியில் அவரை எதிர்த்துப் பேசுவது போல வசனம் பேசியிருந்தேன். ஆனால் ஒரு சில காரணங்களால் அது படத்தில் இடம்பெறவில்லை.

இந்த படத்தை  பார்த்தவர்கள்  மலையாளத்தில்  ஒரு முக்கியமான படத்தில்  வில்லனாக நடித்திருப்பது கண்டு ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு பாராட்டினார்கள். முக்கியமாக எனது நடிப்பைப் பாராட்டி அஜூ வர்க்கீஸ் காஸ்ட்லியான TAGHUER வாட்ச் ஒன்றை பரிசளித்தார். கேரளாவின் மிகப்பெரிய விருதைப் பெற்றதுபோல் உணர்ந்தேன். பொதுவாக ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடிக்கும்போது அதில் மிகப்பெரிய ரீச் கிடைக்கும். அதுமட்டுமல்ல ஒரு நடிகருக்கு எல்லா மொழிகளிலும் நடிப்பது ரொம்பவே முக்கியம்.. அப்போது தான் மற்ற மொழிகளில் இருந்தும் நம்மை தேடி வாய்ப்புகள் வரும்..

தற்போது தமிழில் சீனு ராமசாமியின் உதவியாளர் இயக்கியுள்ள ‘குன்றத்திலே குமரனுக்கு கொண்டாட்டம்’ என்கிற படத்தில் நடித்துள்ளேன். இன்னும் இரண்டு மாதங்களில் இந்த படம் வெளியாக இருக்கிறது. இது தவிர தற்போது மிகப்பெரிய கம்பெனி ஒன்றில் ஹீரோவாக நடிக்க பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. லவ் ஆக்சன் ட்ராமாவை தொடர்ந்து, இனி மலையாளத்திலும் நல்ல வாய்ப்புகள் வரும் என எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன். இன்னொரு பக்கம் சின்னத்திரையில் பிக்பாஸ் நிகழ்ச்சி முடிந்தவுடன் விஜய் டிவியில் மீண்டுமொரு பிரமாண்டமாக தொடரில் என்னை எதிர்பார்க்கலாம்.. அதற்கான வேலைகள் நடந்து வருகின்றன” என்று சந்தோசத்துடன் கூறினார் பிரஜின்.

நான் மிகவும் அரிதாகவே பொது அறிக்கைகளை வெளியிடுகிறேன். ஏனெனில் நான் பேசுவதை விட என் வேலை பேச வேண்டும் என நினைக்கிறேன். ஆனால் சில நேரங்களில் நான் பேச வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் அமைந்து விடுகிறது. இன்று, என் நிலைப்பாட்டை தெளிவுபடுத்தவும், ஆண்களின் பாலியல் தொல்லைகளை தாங்கிக் கொள்ளும் பெண்களின் போராட்டத்திற்காகவும் ஒரு விரிவான அறிக்கையை வெளியிட நிர்பந்திக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.

Sivakarthikeyan is "Mr.Local".

The title determines all , it actually bring the much needed connectivity a film needs. Sivakarthikeyan who had marked his presence in the top chart of the Tamil film industry in a very short time meticolously follows the patten of reaching to the audience with  his titles. It is to be noted that all his recent films are consiously titled to reach the maases. Director Rajesh too , does not lag behind when it comes to the matter of titles. He has gained immense popularity for his unique titles. Producer Gnanavel Raja of studio green is a master in craft of marketing and promotions. His firm belief in the right titles for his films has been a continuous phenomenon.. when these masters of "Titles" come together what we can expect is a master stroke, and they have delivered in style. This mighty combo have titled their untitled film as Mr.Local. 

Rajesh who know the pulse of the audience like the palm of his hand leaves no stone un turned to make this film sn absolute commercial entertainer. It’s quite a rarity to find an actor gifted with stylish and charismatic looks with high-skilled performance.  Jagapati Babu has significantly possessed these qualities, which makes him a loveable actor beyond linguistic and regional boundaries. Sharing an inseparable bond with Chennai land for nearly 30 years, he strongly believes “Viswasam” will make him a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu as he says, “To be frank, I have been desperately waiting for a hit film from this soil from childhood and am sure, this film is going to make my long run dream come true.” 

Sharing his beautiful memories of working “Viswasam” team, he adds, “What can I say about a person like Ajith sir? He is so good and warm person, who has unconditionally done lots of good things for many people. I always feel from bottom of heart that an actor like Ajith sir who relentlessly think from the other person's perspective deserves the respect and adoration he recieves from the people  ”

He continues saying, “Well, about our screen roles in this film “Viswasam”, I had a strong positive feeling right from beginning for both the hero and villain sport Salt ‘n’ Pepper looks.  The  audience will see Ajit with such conviction.His role in this film has a perfect mix of mass and class, especially mass that has shades of innocence and arrogance, which his fans and family audiences will enjoy thoroughly. In fact, I personally loved his character in the film as my original thinking in real life has always been the same way.” 

While shedding lights upon the ‘Hero’ dialogue he utters in the trailer, he says, “Yes, when you’ll see the hero and villain clashing in this film, it is mainly due to the difference in our thought processes. I am someone, who believes what I think and do is always right, which makes me say “En Kadhaila Naan Hero Da”.” 

Talking about director Siva, he says, “He is so sweet and his smile is always genuine. At times, I would doubtfully ask him if he hides something within and reacts positively outside.  However, his heart and mind is so pure, which reflects in the films he makes.  Nayanthara is a lovely girl, who always is seen brimmed with simplicity down-to-earth nature. Even if I have to work consistently with ‘Viswasam’ team over and again, I would feel more blessed. Everyone in this team share the same vibes of positivity, pureness and good nature.” 

On the producers at Sathya Jyothi Films, Jagapati Babu says, “They are professional people, who respect everyone equally. From the days of my father as producer, they have proved to be a reputed brand and I feel happy to be a part of this film, they have produced. The way they treated me with love and affection has intensified my respect for them.” 

Hitting screens on January 10, Viswasam is bankrolled by T.G. Thiyagarajan and Arjun Thiyagarajan for Sathya Jyothi Films. With the chartbuster songs of D Imman, colourful visuals by cinematographer Vetri and racy cuts by Editor Ruben in trailers, it has flagged off the festival ambience across the cities and villages.

“More than challenges, I would say, we had lots of responsibilities as every action sequence has a concept. In fact, every action block happens to be a point, where the plot progresses into next stage. So we had to aware about how we carry it.  Thanks to Siva, as he was clear about his ideas when writing the script itself and this made the work easier,” rejoices Stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan the proud stunt master of "Viswasam" says, “There will lots of newness in the film’s action sequences.” 

While speaking about Ajith Kumar, he opines, “He is polite, humble and a perfect Gentleman. He is always admired by every stuntman for the way he treats them with respect. When it comes to profession, he never interferes or involves into our ideas and is always ready to go by our decisions.”  So, how about the massy rain fight we saw in trailer that everyone is raving about. “Yes, as soon as Siva had opened up about this action sequence, I was so much surprised. Although, there are lots of raciness and enthrallments for audiences with Ajith sir’s bike stunts and stunts, it holds emotional aspects too. I cannot reveal more on this, but it will be a great experience to watch it in theatres.” 

Getting on to speak about the other action sequences, especially the one we saw in the backdrops of toilet, Dhilip Subbarayan brings up interesting information. “It had some challenges are the space was very much limited and we had to set up the entire drama within it. More than all, it was really a risky one as it was Tiles floors, which were slippery. We aren’t supposed to dry it as the continuity would be missed out for the next shot. So we had to proceed with it though it was very challenging. But the entire team was committed and it helped us accomplish over it.” 

Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, Siva has wielded megaphone for this massy family entertainer scheduled for worldwide release on January 10.  Nayanthara, Jagapathi, Vivek, Thambi Ramaiah, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Baby Anikha and many more prominent actors are a part of this film.

Definitely, ‘Editors’ become the first audience or critic of movies as they happen to get a clear picture of what’s a film as raw footage and edited version. Being a rapid runner on the front with lots of projects, Editor Ruben feels something special about Ajith Kumar’s Viswasam.  

“More than claiming this to be a mass movie, Viswasam is a beautiful family entertainer for this festive season. It has all elements to serve as sumptuous feast for this season that everyone will enjoy,” says Editor Ruben, who feels working in Viswasam was a challenging process.  Briefing this context, he adds, “Yes, the story goes through lots of raciness, action and emotional phases, which accordingly demanded certain transitions. Especially, to bring up the final version trailer was much more challenging as the intention was that the expectations among crowds shouldn’t be neither high nor low, but balanced. I had to work on lots of versions that followed by the suggestions of director Siva and producers. We are now happy as a team that we have delivered it accordingly to taste of audiences.” 

So what’s favourite part of Viswasam liked by Ruben? Ask him and he instantly says, “The action sequences are fantastically done, especially the rain fight followed by another one in second half, where Ajith sir would bash the opponents with fists and in between would utter some massy lines… It’s not just going to be mass and action elements, but I feel and believe, overall Viswasam will be a delighting and good experience for family audiences.”
