Madras Margarita - The Christmas Edition
Madras Margarita presents an indoor Christmas market, on December 15 and 16, 2018. With a mission to introduce festive cheer and provide a platform for home-grown entrepreneurs to reach out to a large audience, the Christmas Market will see a variety of unique brands and fun-filled entertainment options.
Ranging from clothing to skincare and wellness, the Christmas Market will feature some of Chennai’s most popular home-grown brands and companies. UPSC aspirants, artists and even school teachers turn entrepreneurs at the Christmas Market by exhibiting their talent to a platform larger than just their friends and families. In this curated market, listen to their fascinating stories of entrepreneurship, idea with them and even pick up a bag or two of locally sourced, designed and executed products.
The Christmas Edition is co-hosted by Chettinad Harishree Vidyalayam School. Brands such as Studio Vallikka, Trayee, Beads a la mode, Ecofemme, Baby’s Breath, All things Chettinad, Khwaabh, Go Chic, Madraskarri, A Pretty Jumble will be a part of the Christmas Market. The Christmas Market will also feature a range of artists exhibiting their artwork as merchandise under brands such as Zentrigued, Dyuti, Fabwrap, Terku and Chittaraa. The decadent desserts and treats will be provided by Sweet Talk, Buttons Cupcakes, The Brown Hut, Le Marche, Juco, I&Z Gourmet, Bombay Churros and Paprika.
The Book Exchange will make a comeback in Chennai at the Christmas Market, where book lovers can leave a well-read book and take another in exchange! Book lovers also have an opportunity to buy books by the kilo! The two-day market is filled with entertainment options such as workshops, comedy shows, live music, Christmas carols and quiz shows. One can get their fortune read by tarot readers and drop off a gift for those less fortunate under the Christmas trees!
