Marathon – GAJA Cyclone Relief ( Run for a Cause) and RUN for Clean
GEO India Foundation in its quest to serve the humanity has come up with a noble project of GEO HALF MARATHON Run for Cause – GAJA CYCLONE RELIEF and RUN FOR CLEAN.
To aid our efforts, Rajasekaran.s Director Kals Group of companies, Chairman – Chennai Spartans sports Pvt. Ltd. And Mr. T.N. Santhosh Kumar - Para Olympic Committee chairman, Founder Director – Geo India Foundation came up with GEO HALF MARATHON Run for Cause – at YMCA Nandanam, Chennai on 23rd December 2018.
They were well supported by G. Chandra Mouli – Airport Director Airport Authority of India, Regional Secretary Airport Authority of India MR. L . George. G. Vivekanandan SR Sup S.G Airport Authority of India Chennai, S. Sreekumar Regional Executive Director Sothern regional and Dr. Uppiliappan Gopalan Global Head – Sales & Marketing ( Kals Group of companies).
Around 5000 individuals from different parts of the city participated in this event. There were 5 categories - 3,5, 10 & 21 KM and a special category of 1 KM. who participated in this marathon.
Flag off was done by Actor Nakul and Actor Vayyapuri.
Elaborate arrangements were made in all aspects including route marshals, hydration points and a sumptuous breakfast to ensure it’s a one of a kind event.
