Catalyst PR bags National Award from Public Relations Society of India
Chennai based Catalyst
Public Relations Pvt. Ltd, one of the prominent PR agencies in India, has been
conferred with the ‘Best Public Awareness Program Award’ by the Public
Relations Society of India (PRSI) at the 41st All India Public
Relations Conference, Hyderabad, held recently. Catalyst PR is the only PR
agency in India to bag this prestigious award amidst Fortune 50 plus Indian
corporates such as IOCL, HPCL, NMDC, L&T, Metrorail, Bharat Petroleum etc.
With this award, Catalyst PR has garnered a total of 5 National Awards till
date.

Minister for Home, Govt. of Telangana, in
the august presence of Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President, PRSI; K.V.

The eminent
jury who had chosen the companies under various categories were Mr. Sarthak

prestigious award for making the best use of media in propagating the “Aadi
Peraku” Celebrations organized by its client, Dr. MGR Janaki College of
Arts & Science for Women, Chennai, in the month of August of 2019.
In a continuous endeavor
of creating values among youth, Catalyst PR was tasked to reach out to younger generation with the traditional values ofTamil
Nadu. A cultural setup bringing alive scenes of Aadi Peraku celebration,
including creation of ‘Sandhai’, students using traditional wear of ‘Saree
& Half-Saree’, Village classics etc., that is
indigenous to rural areas of Tamil Nadu was
recreated at the College premises to absorb the same atmosphere that is
typically seen in a village.
The event, which was aimed at reviving the
gradually disappearing festivity that is unique to Tamil people and culture,
had found substantial reach among younger generation with the participation of
more than 4000 students.
