Sanjay Dutt's next 'Prassthanam' which is a thrilling drama has created a lot of anticipation with an intense world showcased in the film. The film which revolves around family and relationships has a lot of interesting characters that will be the turning point in the storyline. While we await the release of this rustic tale set in Lucknow, we introduce you to each character of the film.

Ali Fazal opens up about his Prassthanam journey

 Ali Fazal who has gained a lot of appreciations from the critics and the audience for his performance in various projects, feels that his upcoming film ‘Prassthanam’ is a very special journey.

Sharing the screen-space with the ace stars Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala, the actor had a great learning experience with the senior actors. Speaking about the journey, Ali Fazal revealed, “One key reading for me as an actor to be elated to have worked on Prassthanam was the idea of sharing screen space with Sanju sir, Jackie sir, and Manisha ma'am. They are legendary names in the business and have an amazing body of work and I was sure that there is a lot to learn from them. It was really exciting for me to be on sets with them and they have been a great support through the making of the film."

From reading about Kennedy brothers for his character to experiencing the dynamics of a power-packed set, Ali's Prassthanam journey has been multi-dimensional.

Manisha opens up about her bond with the Prassthanam co-star

Manisha Koirala who played Sanjay S. Dutt’s mother Nargis in Sanju is all set to play his wife in the upcoming film ‘Prassthanam’. Produced under the banner Sanjay S. Dutt Productions, the film has been creating a buzz with its intriguing trailer and the upbeat title track.

Manisha Koirala whose known Dutt since more than two decades recently revealed the bond she shared with the actor. Manisha said, “I became a big fan of Baba after watching Rocky and even had his posters up in my room. It was a fan-girl moment when I first worked with him, but over the years we have become good have seen him go through his ups and downs in life, and whenever I have a problem, I just have to tell him. A few days later, he will call to ask, ‘Manya, sab theek ho gaya na?’ We are very comfortable with each other now.”

On signing the Prassthanam, the actress added, “Maanayata Ji (Sanjay’s wife) is producing the film, and I can’t say ‘no’ to Baba and her.”

Prassthanam, which is about power, greed, love and human fallacies, showcases the journey that every character chooses to undertake. Set in a contemporary political family in Lucknow, the story deals with complex questions on dharma, morality, desire, right and wrong. The trailer showcases scenes with references to Ramayan and Mahabharat.
