தமிழ் சினிமாவில் தரமான படங்களை தயாரித்து வெளியிடுவதில் முனைப்போடு செயல்பட்டு வரும் நிறுவனம் கே ப்ரொடக்ஷன்ஸ். இந்நிறுவனம் சார்பில் எஸ். என். ராஜராஜன், ஜிவி. பிரகாஷ் குமார்  நடிக்கும் புதிய படத்தை தயாரிக்கிறார்.

இந்த புதிய படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குனர் வெற்றிமாறனிடம் உதவி இயக்குனராக பணிபுரிந்த மதிமாறன் புகழேந்தி இயக்குனராக அறிமுகமாகிறார். ஜிவி. பிரகாஷுக்கு ஜோடியாக வர்ஷா பொல்லம்மா நடிக்க இருக்கிறார். இவர் சீமதுரை, 96, பிகில் உள்ளிட்ட படங்களில் நடித்தவர். 

இவர்களுடன், இளைஞர்களுக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த ஸ்டைலிஷ் இயக்குநரான கௌதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனன் இணைந்திருக்கிறார். ஜி.வி.பிரகாசுடன் கௌதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றுவது இதுவே முதல்முறை. மேலும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில்  வாகை சந்திரசேகர் மற்றும் அறிமுக நடிகர் குணா நடிக்கிறார்கள்.

ஜிவி. பிரகாஷ் இசையமைக்கும் இந்த படத்திற்கு விஷ்ணு ரங்கசாமி ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய இருக்கிறார். இவர் அண்ணனுக்கு ஜே, வெள்ளை யானை படங்களில் ஒளிப்பதிவாளராக பணிபுரிந்தவர். படத்தொகுப்பை எஸ். இளையராஜா கவனிக்கிறார்.

இப்படத்தில் ஜிவி பிரகாஷ் கல்லூரி மாணவராக நடிக்கிறார். ஒரு மாணவனுக்கு கல்லூரிக்கு வெளியே நடக்கும் இன்னல்களை ஆக்ஷன் கலந்து திரைக்கதையாக உருவாக்கி இருக்கிறார்கள். காதல், எமோஷனல், ஆக்ஷன் முழுக்க முழுக்க கமர்ஷியல் படமாக தயாராக இருக்கிறது.

Being a master of quickies with lots of releases happening on spree, GV Prakash’s films always gets noticed for unique contents. While the actor is basked in glory over winning good reception for his naturalistic performance in “Sivappu Manjal Pachai”, he is all set to appear in a new-dimensional and never-seen-before role in his career for his upcoming film “Bachelor”.  Producer G. Dilli Babu of Axess Film Factory, whose previous outing ‘Ratsasan’ was critically acclaimed and commercially successful is producing this film. Sathish Selvakumar, a former assistant to director Sasi makes his directorial debut with this film, which is a romantic drama.

Shedding lights on the film, filmmaker Sathish says, “It will be a rustic romantic drama and GV Prakash will be seen in a completely different role from what he has done so far. In fact, he will going through an image makeover for this movie.” Having said that GVP essays an unconventional role, Sathish wants to keep things veiled as he adds, “All that I can say for now is that he is a guy from Coimbatore, who comes to Bengaluru, impressed with the lifestyle of his friends. Rest of the film is about his life going through unexpected series of events.”

He tots up saying that major portions of the film will be shot in Bengaluru followed by few episodes in Chennai and Pollachi.

Divya Bharathi model is playing the female lead in ‘Bachelor’ with Bhagavathi Perumal YouTube Nakkalites fame Arun Kumar appearing in important characters. The film has musical score by GV Prakash himself and cinematography handled by Theni Eshwar and editing by San Lokesh.

விஜய் படத்தில் நடித்த அனுபவம்?

விஜய் தான் என்னை திரையில் முதன் முதலாக தோன்ற வைத்தவர். தலைவா படத்தில் தளபதியுடன் ஒரு பாடலில் ஆட வைத்தார். நாச்சியார் படத்தில் என் நடிப்பை பார்த்து தான் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்க கேட்டார். அவர் இயக்கத்தில் நான் நடித்தது மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தது. வாட்ச்மேன் படம் காமெடியுடன் கூடிய திரில்லர். தண்ணீர் கேன் போடும் பையனான நான் இரவில் ஒரு வீட்டுக்குள் போகிறேன். அந்த பங்களாவில் இருப்பவர்கள், நடக்கும் சம்பவங்களை கொண்டு படம் நகரும். புருனோ என்ற நாய் படம் முழுக்க வரும். அது செய்யும் சாகசங்கள் பிரமிக்க வைக்கும். 

நாயுடன் நடித்த அனுபவம்?

நாய்க்கு பயப்படும் ஒருவன் நாயுடனே இரவு முழுக்க இருக்க வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலைக்கு ஆளாகிறான். அந்த நாய் அவனை காப்பாற்ற தான் முயற்சி செய்கிறது. ஆனால் அவனோ அந்த நாயை பார்த்து மிரள்கிறான். இப்படித்தான் கதை போகும். என்னை காப்பாற்ற நாய் செய்யும் செயல்களை குழந்தைகள் கைதட்டி ரசிப்பார்கள். அந்த நாயுடன் சுமார் 40 நாட்கள் நடித்தேன். நாய் குழந்தைகள் போலத் தான். அவற்றை அதட்டி மிரட்டி வேலை வாங்க முடியாது. அவற்றின் போக்கில் சென்றுதான் படம் பிடிக்க வேண்டும். புருனோவை நண்பனாக்கி கொண்டேன். இருந்தாலும் சில சமயம் முறைக்கும். பயமாக இருக்கும். 

உங்கள் இசையில் பாடல்கள் இல்லாத படமா?

இது ஹாலிவுட் பாணியில் விறுவிறுப்பான திரைக்கதை கொண்ட படம். இதில் பாடல்கள் வைத்தால் ரசிகர்கள் இருக்கையில் நெளிய தொடங்கி விடுவார்கள். எனவே படத்தில் பாடல்கள் வைக்கவில்லை. ஒரு விளம்பர பாடல் எடுத்துள்ளோம். இதில் நான், யோகி பாபு, சாயிஷா மூவரும் நடனம் ஆடியுள்ளோம். 

எந்த மாதிரியான படத்தில் நடிக்க ஆசை?

வரலாற்று பின்னணி கொண்ட படத்தில் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது ஆசை.

பொள்ளாச்சியில் கேமராக்கள் பொருத்துவது?

இந்த படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் அருண்மொழி மாணிக்கம் வெளிநாடுகளில் படித்து தொழிலதிபராக இருந்தவர். வெறும் லாப நோக்கத்தோடு மட்டும் சினிமாவுக்கு வராமல் வித்தியாசமான கதைகளை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து தயாரித்து ரசிகர்களை மகிழ்விக்க வேண்டும் என்று குறிக்கோள் கொண்டவர். படத்தின் விளம்பரத்துக்காக செய்யும் செலவை நல்ல நோக்கத்தோடு மக்களுக்கு பயன்படும் வகையில் செய்யவேண்டும் என்று சொன்னபோது மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தது. சமீபத்தில் பெண்கள் பாலியல் துன்புறுத்தலுக்கு ஆளான  பொள்ளாச்சியில் இனி அதுபோன்ற சம்பவங்களோ குற்றங்களோ நடக்காத வகையில் கேமராக்கள் பொருத்துகிறார். இது மட்டும் அல்லாமல் கோடைகாலம் என்பதால் ஆங்காங்கே வெயிலில் தவிக்கும் சிறு வியாபாரிகளுக்கு நிழற்குடைகள் அமைப்பது, வாட்ச்மேன்களுக்கு குடை, தொப்பி வினியோகம் என்று நலத்திட்டங்களோடு சேர்ந்த விளம்பரம் செய்கிறார். அவருக்கு என் பாராட்டுகள்.

ரஜினி, விஜய், சிவகார்த்திகேயனுக்கு பிறகு குழந்தைகளுக்கு பிடித்த நடிகராகி விட்டீர்களே?

ஆமாம். பொது இடங்களுக்கு செல்லும்போது இதை உணர்கிறேன். குழந்தைகள் நம்மை ரசிக்கிறார்கள் என்னும்போது பத்து ஹிட் படங்கள் கொடுத்த மகிழ்ச்சி உருவாகிறது. குழந்தைகள் மட்டும் அல்லாமல் குடும்ப ரசிகர்கள் எனக்கு உருவாகி இருக்கிறார்கள். எங்க வீட்டு பையன் மாதிரியே இருக்கேப்பா... என்று சொல்லும்போது உலகிலேயே மகிழ்ச்சியான நபராக உணர்கிறேன். குழந்தைகள் மனதை கவர்வது எளிதான காரியம் அல்ல. அது குறைந்த காலகட்டத்திலேயே எனக்கு கிடைத்திருப்பது கடவுளின் வரம் தான். 

சமூகவலைதளங்களில் அதிக பாலோயர்கள் உள்ள நீங்கள் நல்ல விஷயங்களை செய்து வருகிறீர்கள். 

இதில் அடுத்த கட்டம் என்ன அரசியலா?

அடுத்த கட்டத்துக்கு எப்படி எடுத்து செல்லும் என்று தெரியவில்லை. ஆனால் என்னால் முடிந்ததை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன். சொல்லவேண்டியதை இன்னும் அதிகம் பேரை சென்று அடையும் வகையில் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன். இதில் எந்தவிதமான எதிர்கால நோக்கமும் இல்லை. மனதுக்கு சரியென்று பட்டதை சொல்கிறேன். சொல்வேன். இந்த இடத்துக்கு செல்லவேண்டும் என்று திட்டமிட்டு எதையும் சொல்வதோ செய்வதோ இல்லை.

GV Prakash Kumar starrer Watchman is all set for a worldwide release on April 12. The team including producer Arunmozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production, Editor Anthony, Actor Raj Arjun, actor Suman, PT Selvakumar, Director Vijay and GV Prakash Kumar were present: 

Producer Arunmozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production said, “Director Vijay sir has been illustrious for introducing many heroines who have become so famous and successful in the industry. We have made this film to offer as a good treat for family audiences. Although, it’s a thriller, the film will have sumptuous ingredients to savour the family audiences.  I am really happy to have produced this film.”

PT Selvakumar who has been a major support for this film’s release said, “As soon as I decided to be a part of the film’s business, producer Arunmozhi sir asked to go for a limited release. He has always been concerned about everyone in the trade and wanted to be a benefit for all. We decided to release the film for this summer for we wanted to bring the kids and family into theatres for this vacation. The film is short and sweet with a crisp narration and the ones who have already watched the film have appreciated it.”

Editor Anthony said, “I thank the entire team for giving me an opportunity to work in the film. The best thing I liked about the film is how they have shot a film with dog. It’s a simple story,  but the storytelling is incredibly good.”

Actor Raj Arjun said, “I am fortunate enough to be a part of this film. I thank the whole crew of this movie for giving me an opportunity. There are little dialogues in the film, but the impact will be definitely good.”

Actor Suman, “I thank Vijay sir and Arun sir for making me a part of this project. I am happy to get a role that is so much apt for my age. Tamil cinema has always been special to me. Although I am settled in Hyderabad, I never miss to watch the Tamil movies, especially the ones made by Vijay. Films like this can happen only in Tamil cinema for they are really talented on par with Hollywood movies. Vijay’s smart planning made the film complete on time. GV Prakash sir has done remarkable job and I have been a great follower of his music, but this acting skills are really great. He will be definitely a different and unique hero in the future. This will be definitely a different one and will set to be an example for such movies in the near future.  The technical department has done something really bigger on par with Hollywood.”

Director Vijay said, “Producer Arunmozhi Manickam sir and I have been close friends for past 5 years. I am elated to have got got an opportunity to work with him. Everyone in the film have given their best. Raj Arjun sir has become the busiest person in Bollywood now and I feel lucky to work with him again after Thaandavam. Suman sir immediately responded to our approach. His combination scenes with Raj Arjun and GV Prakash are so much commendable and I really want to work more with him. GV Prakash has been the most important person for we have journeyed together in many movies. We have been friends beyond films and soon after working in Nachiyar, I really felt that it would be great to work him as an actor. As an actor, he has grown so much and would instantly emote as the script demanded. Samyuktha Hegde is being launched as heroine in this film.”
