 OPPO Joins hands to support front line warriors in Hyderabad; donates 300 OPPO Band Style

In its contribution to India’s fight against the second wave of Covid -19, OPPO India recently extended additional support for frontline warriors who have been working tirelessly to keep the country safe. 

With an aim to serve the most visible arm of the government, OPPO has pledged to donate 300 OPPO Band Style to Cyberabad police workforce. The band will always support them monitor their heart rate and Sp02 levels to keep a check on their safety.

This step follows OPPO’s recent donation of 1000 oxygenators and 500 breathing machines worth Rs. 4.3 Crore to the Red Cross Society & Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. These machines will be distributed to various hospitals across India to support the covid relief measures. In addition to this the brand has also donated 5000 units of OPPO Band Style worth INR 1.5 Crore to front-line workers to help them monitor their health as they serve others.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Tasleem Arif, VP & R&D Head, OPPO India said, “We are living in precarious times but, it is a reminder for all of us to stand united and fight this together. With our believe in ‘Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World’, we are extending our best support in every way possible to the community to overcome these testing times. Through this small contribution we wanted to thank Cyberabad police for their constant commitment and dedication to safeguard each one of us during such testing times. OPPO stands with India and will continue supporting it in overcoming this adversity.”

Apart from the covid relief measures, the aftersales customer service support of OPPO India is providing all its users best remote support in this difficult time through a dedicated AI powered Chatbot called ‘Ollie’ that is available 24X7 for consumers to resolve 94.5% of their queries. The brands human chat support on WhatsApp is also available to support customers 24X7 in resolving their queries. IndiGo launches Tough Cookie campaign to thank medical frontline warriors
Announces up to 25% discount for doctors and nurses serving during COVID-19

At a time when the country is grappling with the most unprecedented pandemic of our times, IndiGo has launched ‘Tough Cookie’ campaign on the occasion of National Doctor's Day to express gratitude towards the tireless commitment and service being given by the medical fraternity to the nation and humanity. As part of the campaign, IndiGo will provide up to 25% Tough Cookie discount on the airfares to the nurses and doctors who have serviced in these challenging times. As part of the initiative, IndiGo will track the Tough Cookie journey to make it special every step of the way, starting from a complementary cookie tin at check-in, welcome announcement at the boarding gate, special Tough Cookie sticker on the PPE and in-flight announcement giving them a warm welcome on-board.

The nurses and doctors will be required to provide valid hospital IDs at the time of check-in as a proof of their identity. The discount will be offered while booking through IndiGo’s website, valid for sale and travel from July 01, 2020 till December 31, 2020.

The ‘Tough Cookie’ campaign has been conceptualised to thank the frontline workers who are constantly putting themselves at risk to save lives and contribute in our battle against COVID-19. IndiGo will run a 360-degree campaign on multiple platforms including Print, OOH, PR, social media, along with other on ground and in-flight activations to promote the initiative, which will go on till the year end. Content including interesting videos, static creatives, giphys, will be published across social media platforms to engage customers and create awareness around the service provided by the medical fraternity.
