With
the new Tata Altroz the automobile company will enter the premium
hatchback segment in the country that currently boasts of some
formidable players like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda
Jazz, Toyota Glanza and Volkswagen Polo.
The
premium hatchback is based on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced)
architecture comes with Rs.5,29,000/-* ex showroom price Chennai.
Altroz
comes with 1.2-litre Petrol & 1.5-litre Diesel, the two engines are
being offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, with no automatic option
at present, The new Altroz has as many as five variants -- XE, XM, XT,
XZ and XZ(O).
