Films aren’t simply considered as forms of art and entertainment for at times, it imparts beautiful messages that are inspirational. Debut filmmaker Bharath Mohan’s “Igloo”, produced by Drumsticks Productions belongs to this panache that has something positive for the audiences to inhale.
“The life isn’t always box of chocolates. Sometimes, it puts us into deep state of melancholies, particularly with the life-threatening diseases. Yes, there are medical advancements that are occurring at times to fight it out, but the greatest weapon is about being “Positive”. Igloo emphasizes such a message through the emotional romantic drama, where the ‘picture perfect’ lives of a couple are devastated with a hazardous illness and how they handle it positively,” says filmmaker Bharath Mohan, who makes his directorial debut with this film. Indeed, such an impactful citation from the director drops an assumption whether it’s a tragic love story. He instantly clarifies saying, “That’s something you need to watch it on the screens. We have tried to convey a positive message through these dramatic moments laced with emotions and as a team, believe that it will be received well for this reason.”
Giving in additional insight about the film, Bharath Mohan says, “We wanted to keep everything realistic about the film refraining from larger-than-life projections and exaggerations. All the characters are inspired by the ones we come across in our daily walks of life. It’s been a serene experience as all the artistes clearly understood the depth of characters they played and efficiently enlivened them. The lead actors – Amzath Khan and Anju Kurian have done a beautiful job here and others in the cast including Mathew Vergese, Lizzy and Bucks too have added the appropriate adornments. One of the major highlights in Igloo will be twins Anika and Arohi playing an important role during the initial 25 minutes of the film.”
Arrol Corelli has become eminent for his sweetest composing and his musical score Igloo is expected to be one of the major attractions in this film, which has 3 songs. Kugan S Palani has handled cinematography and Seenivasan has taken care of art department with Prasanna GK as the editor.
